Heavily injured, Gerrard says, "I....I was not expecting that. You think they did the Lantern murders? Should we drop this ship and kill that menagerie inside?" He breathes heavily and moves to the crane, sheathing his weapons and getting out his bow in case any aquatic abominations make an appearance.

Boko, catching her breath, casts [spell]mass cure wounds, targeting herself, Gerrard, and Kei, even though she can't see him. 24 hp to all.
"That was very unpleasant. Though not shocking. Kei what did you see in there? Shall I try to empty that awful vessel of water again, from the relative safety of this place, and see if it might light itself on fire? And we can ready our attacks on anything that decides to show its ugly head? I have few reserves left, but I am not leaving this place infested, and this town deserves to know what truly lives here,"Boko says, moving away from the vessel but keeping an eye on the hatch.
Sighing in relief at the worst of his wounds closing up, Gerrard shrugs and says, “Sounds like a good plan to me, though it might not burn too well. We might also be able to figure out how to work this crane and dump them out of the boat from a height…”
Gerrard settles into a perch on the crane with a hood view of the boat and keeps his bow at the ready.

The party tries to catch their collective breath in the foul night air on the deck of the suspended ship. Boko provides some arcane healing to all. There seems to be no further pursuit beyond the steamy hatch, at least yet.
Gerrard shares his hunch that the unfamiliar, webbed "footprints" they discovered at the scene of the latest murder indeed seem to match the skum's slimy tentacled appendages.
Gerrard also examines the massive chains holding the ship aloft - they seem too sturdy to be broken by any quick or simple method. (Severing one would take a successful DC 30 Strength check, perhaps, or tools or mechanical assistance, or maybe some powerful or patient spellcasting. They may be rusty, but they seem fat and strong.) As to the crane – its gears and controls seem heavily rusted and likely frozen in place. It looks like it has been inoperable for some time.
Boko examines the ship itself – it seems waterlogged (if leaky) and unlikely to ignite easily. It will, however, empty itself eventually (minutes or hours) with its water source removed, unless Boko chooses to accelerate the process again.
There is a couple of dead skum here - one on the deck outside the hatch, the other on the crane. But below them is nothing but the foul pool known as Hemlock Pit. The nearest street is on the other side of Mr. Dory's warehouse building. Unfortunately, the easiest method of delivering such a body to the street would be to carry it down through the warehouse the way they came (unless Boko-Eagle were to return, that is!)
With Boko's healing energy flowing over him, Kei scrambles away from the hatch to a less vulnerable position. He speaks for the first time since going invisible. "Thank you Boko" he says earnestly. "There's another room with more of these skum, but also others. A human, sort of, but almost see-through and another.....abomination is the only word for it. As if a host of sea creatures where mixed together. I fear we would be out classed if we were to try and take the fight to them in our current state. The skum referred to something called the Councillor. I'd say that is the source of these murders and the incessant evil in general." His voice quivers slightly as he speaks of the fish-man. He attempts to cover his fear with a jibe at Gerrard. "As always, My Leige, if you say fight, I will, but I think it I'll advised."
Hearing what else resides in that Hellish boat interior, Gerrard pales a bit and says, “No argument from me, Master Kei. They are quite formidable foes. Still, we need to keep investigating. Does anyone have an idea for trapping them in the ship? Without the furnaces and the water, I expect them to grow increasingly uncomfortable and exit the ship soon…”
”If we can lock them up so they can’t attack us from behind, we can focus our efforts on the pit out back that we were told about,” he adds.
His voice still ethereal, Kei replies to Gerrard. "Trapping them, no. Burning them down to ash, that I can help with. Taking out the councillor, I can do. Only I don't know if we'd survive that long. I could send you both in as fearsome creatures whilst I handle the councillor, but one hit from any of them and I fear I'd lose conciousness again." Not that either of his companions can see but he looks to Boko. "Any natural magics that could seal the ship?"
You barely have a moment to take a few breaths when you hear a low groan from the hatchway.
Emerging from it is the abomination Kei had seen earlier. A humanid of sorts - or rather a grisly assortment of deep-sea fish, monstrous lobsters, sharks parts, and octopi, stitched and bolted together into a muscled brute, atop of which is the head of a human woman, mouthing wordless syllables. A stumbles forward, swinging armlike appendages made of the meat of undersea abominations.

Gerrard fires a trio of arrows at the lumbering horror. All three hit, and fly right through it, barely leaving a mark. (It appears to be immune to piercing damage – at least nonmagical damage. I presume you were using regular ammunition?)

Stepping slowly (half speed to not fall though any broken planks) towards the stern, Kei fires off 3 inky beams of darkness from his invisible vantage point. His body returning to the visible spectrum as the blasts hit home. Almost simultaneously he summons forth his now commonly seen tentacle to attack the mixed species abomination.
Kei carefully and invisibly steps backward to the stern of the suspended vessel, before unleashing a trio of black beams and summons a spectral tentacle against the fishy golem. Everything hits, and the abomination takes noticeable physical damage from the barrage hitting it. But it seems to feel little pain and continues to lumber forward.
Kei becomes visible; meanwhile, the skum watching from the hatch vanishes.
Boko and Gerrard may act next!

The skum do not pursue you outside the ship. The three of you are scattered across the plank walk and deck in the noxious night air.
Combat is paused.
Everyone may act.

Are there any skum corpses nearby? Could they be thrown to the street below to show people what is actually up here?
