The sprites send a hail of tiny arrows at the green hags!  24 hit for one point of damage each!  Hags must save vs poison...

Frazzah and Billy drop their spells, since they are no longer useful. Frazzah casts Chaos Bolt at Gnoll Fang 3 Attack: Attack: 9 Damage: 16+3 damage.  5  12 (lightning damage)

Billy the Druid casts Call Lightning, and a lightning bolt strikes the ground behind Fangs 5 and 7, doing 24 damage, half on DC16 dex save.

(Raven: Yeah, I haven't forgotten.)  Raven still finds no sign of Raninon Nevermiss Greyelf, though she does notice that some little spotted forest cats and birds are up in the giant tree, watching the battle intently.

 (Oh, I see.  Well, it is listed on the stats as 'innate spellcasting' so yes, it is a spell, not an ability. Looking it up, though, it's technically a 7th level spell, so you would need to pass a DC17 check on your spellcasting ability. INT, I believe.)

Quentin attempts to stop the hags from teleporting away with a quick use of counter spell saying, "You're not getting out that easily on my watch!"

The spell not working Quentin lets out a groan of frustration, "Why does this spell never work when I need it to!" Before firing off four magical missiles at one of the weaker looking gnoll fangs, dropping his flame wall.

Almost sounds like someone pulled the needle across a record incorrectly (for those old enough to remember that sound) They buggered off!? Del moves to face and get in range of the fang fight, but still well back (100-150 feet) and casts a couple Blasts at the lonely fiend:

27 doing 3 if it hits, and

21 doing 3

Assuming the rest of Del's former detachment has gone with Billy and Frazzah with their owls, to fight the mass of normal gnolls, Del just has his eight. If fang 4 is still up, four head that way, the others will start making orbits to look for (1) re-appearing hags (b) the sound of Greyelf and (blue) weak points in the conventional fight

Seeing only one lone Fangs, Elwin moved in. Del's magic blasts lashed out first; the young warlock hoped that even if they didn't finish the creature, they'd be able to distract it. Mentally moving his hex to the creature, he struck. "Fall, miscreant!"

Raven and the owls notice that the three Night Hags re-appear, this time at a distance of 30 feet behind the party, and spread out from each other..

Fang 4, the last survivor, staggering under the effect of the sprite poison and owl-bitten, launches a furious attack on Elwin:

(Forgive your incompetent DM, don't know where the heck my head is at these days. Elwin's total damage is actually enough to EXPLODE a completely fresh Gnoll Fang, let alone a half-dead one.. There are little bits of Fang 4 still flying through the air in all directions after that savage attack. I'm lucky I have you to keep me on track, Skuk. :P)
