You are still nearly one hundred feet up from the ground level. There is nowhere to glide to but to your right, you see a steep path that weaves in and out of the cliffside in some places. In most places, it is wide enough to cross but in others, it has worn away significantly. Toward the bottom, the cliff becomes less of a sheer wall and slopes outward, disappearing under the treeline.

Mogar is struggling not to rip rip the arms off of the guy that touched him and ultimately decides 13 that even though he could rip this scrubs arms off he's not going to. While walking with the small group, Mogar noticed the nice little shops that lined the cobblestone road. He looked around at all the tiny, weak little humans and fantasized about eating them because he was starting to get hungry.
The group arrives at the apothecary and the medicine man begins treating the girl.
As you carefully make your way down the rocky path, your focus is almost entirely on where to place your next step. You are still another thirty feet from the ground but the path has widened somewhat and is becoming easier to traverse.
You hear the sound of rocks shifting overhead.
Looking up, you see that it was only a small lizard skitting across the cliff. Turning your attention back to the path, you lock eyes with a sinister-looking man ahead of you. The man is dressed in ragged leather clothes with a scimitar on his hip. The deep scar across his face contorts as he looks just as surprised to see you as you are him! He dives quickly behind the nearest boulder. You hear the familiar clicking sound of a crossbow loading.

Mogar - The Apothecary:
With your stomach growling, you step inside the apothecary's shop. Looking around the shop, you can tell that something is off. The pharmacist is sitting on a tall stool in the back corner of the room. The counter, with well-worn record books stacked across it, blocks most of his body but it looks as if he is holding his wrist. He is clearly in some kind of pain. Nearer to your party is a short table covered in colorful potions, the bottles are all shapes and sizes with some decorated with intricate glasswork. Squatting next to the table, examining an especially expensive potion and looking particularly shifty, is an aarakocra with bright white feathers and an open wound on his left shoulder.
There are papers and glass strewn about the floor and one of the chairs around the short table has been smashed to bits. You recognize the signs of a good fight when you see them.
"Reynold!" The round man shouts, rushing in to the room. "Anna is in bad shape! Please, can you do anything for her?"
"Oh dear, what happened to you, Anna?" the apothecary rises from his stool and half limps across the room, making space for her on the countertop. Jared carefully lays her down, moving a book under her head for a makeshift pillow.
"We think her leg is broken" the round man steps forward, "This oaf landed right on top of her, chasing a butterfly!"
Jared, finally noticing the condition of the shop, looks to Reynold, "What happened to you?"
Reynold sighs, "I was just discussing that matter with my... Associate... here, Flappen Lightfeather." Flappen shoots a quick glance at the physician, "It seems I've been robbed! I am eager to help with Anna's condition but I feel I should warn you, the materials I will be using are quite expensive and the thief ran off with all my coin. How will you be paying?"
Mogar is almost entirely oblivious to the rest of the people inside the room because he is so enchanted by the large bird in the room. History check: 1 Mogar genuinely believes that all birds are the same and therefore thinks that the bird in the room may be his beloved Quakers.
Mogar walks over to the injured bird creature and says, "Quackers?..."
Flappen lightly places the potion back on the table and stands to face you. “What’s your name, son? Are you alright in the head? He needs coin if he’s gunna fix your friend there. If you ain’t got any, I could use a strong guy like you on my team. You ain’t much for questions is ya?”
Looking you up and down, he adds, “Say, I’ll cover the cost of the mendin’ if you run a job for me. How’s that sound to ya? Otherwise, you’ll have to work it out with him and I’ll tell ya, he’s not as harmless as he looks” He gestures toward Reynold.

He aims his crossbow and looses a bolt in your direction! Attack: 13
It wizzes past your head! You hear a 'THUD' as it buries itself in the hard-packed dirt behind you!
Burt assesses the situation at hand and realizes he has no choice but to flee. He looks at Scarface, gives a quick smirk and says: “You’ll have to do better than that if you want to catch the Soaring Swindler!”
He let’s out a loud squawk and leaps from the cliff side in the opposite direction of Scarface to glide to safety.

As you glide down below the treeline, you can still hear Scarface's muffled shouting, "You won't get away with this! I'll have your head!"

Your landing goes smoother than you'd anticipated. With your back to that slope of red stone and dirt that makes up the base of the Red Scar, with no armor, and no weapons apart from your vicious talons, you find yourself in Somnium Wood, the forest renowned for its trees whose soft glowing flowers seemingly appeared overnight six years ago. Today, the flowers are just beginning to blossom, as if in celebration of the beginning of spring.
History: 13
The forest is home to a variety of animals including wild boar, giant wolf spiders, and poisonous snakes. You know that there is be a small town tucked somewhere nearby against the Scar and that there should also be a road through the woods commonly used by merchants that can lead you there, though from your current position you don't see any indication of a road or a town, only the seemingly endless stretch of woods ahead of you.
Mogar agrees to squad up despite not entirely sure if the talking bird is Quakers because he never received a definitive answer. Mogar see's a shiny potion in corner with the symbol of a butterfly on the bottle. Mogar stares at it for a moment before Flappen say, "Now now big fella, let's not go grabbin shiny things."
Flappen sees the disappointment on Mogar's face, "That isn't to say I don't have somethin for you to help you on your way"
He walks to a tall glass cabinet on the far end of the room. Producing a key tucked somewhere in his belt, he swings open the doors and pulls out a seemingly simple silver hip flask.
"It actually functions as multiple flasks of holding, each containing a different potion, with access determined by how one opens it", Flappen explains.
"Unscrew the cap to the left, one potion. Unscrew to the right, another potion. Pull straight out, a third. Etc. Unfortunately, the flask is unmarked, and resists all efforts to mark it with directions. So you'll have to figure that out for yourself!" Flappen hands Mogar the flask.
"Outside town aways to the east, that's that way", he points to the east, "you'll find a small camp, a father and son they are, and they stole something very dear to myself, a small wooden lockbox with a pair of silver wings stamped onto the iron clasp. I'll gladly heal your friend if you'll retrieve it for me. And don't be afraid to swing that big maul around a bit if they don't hand it over easy", he says, eyeing the brutish looking war hammer strapped to Mogar's back.

5 Mogar doesn't really understand anything that guy really said but he did see the guy point east and point at Mogar's giant maul. He discerns that if he goes east and uses his hammer, the angry little people will no longer be mad about his crushing of the small girl. Mogar nods in approval as he reaches out and takes the flask and then ties it to his waist cloth.
As you exit the apothecary's shop, you hear Flappen's muffled whisper, "I do get the feeling we may never see that one again but I hope at the very least he gets a few good whacks in. Lord knows those two have it comin'!"
Walking along the cobbled path to the edge of town you pass all manner of shops and small taverns. You see on one store window what could be a job board if you had learned to read but the pies and other pastries in the window lead you to believe it may be a bakery. From the tavern, you hear loud music, the kind they'd play to get the crowd riled up before one of your battles. People are shouting inside but they don't seem particularly angry. Out of the corner of your eye, you notice something short and quick dart into an alleyway. Before you can see what, it jumps past a pile of broken crates and trash from the tavern next door and is out of sight. Ahead of you is the gate leading out of town. Two guards sit on their stools next to the gate and you can tell they don't feel they have much to be guarding against.

You venture off into the woods and it isn’t long before you lose sight of the scar all together. You notice that the deeper you go into the forest, the trees become thicker and the canopy becomes more and more dense, blocking out the sun. You keep an eye out for any sign that might point you in the direction but it is difficult to see clearly in the dim light.
After what feels like hours of walking, you come across a small clearing. Well behind you now, you see the towering face of the scar. Off aways in the west, you notice what looks to be a wisp of smoke rising up from the trees.
