Shadow regains his footing after the explosion threw him off balance. This needs to end now, I am afraid if this goes on much longer we will all perish. Shadow swings his shortsword in a long arc and follows up with a stab of his dagger. Return to the dust, where you belong!
As one of the Zombies' teeth bite into the skin of his arm, Elemoth clenches his teeth and hisses in pain before shaking the Zombie off. After all the physical exertion and damage he's taken today, he suddenly finds himself feeling a bit woozy, and takes a moment to steel himself and make sure his shield is at the ready. As he struggles a bit to concentrate on the fight at hand, he finds his mind wandering a bit back to his days training as an acolyte, and abruptly remembers something one of his teachers said about the undead that Clerics were often called on to turn or destroy. "Skeletons are weak to shattering blows, like those from a hammer or mace, but Zombies are quite resilient and will sometimes be quite difficult to put down for good unless they suffer grievous wounds, or the cleansing light of a priest's holy fire."
"Ah yes..." mumbles out loud to himself. Realizing that even a severely beaten zombie might not stay down for good unless burned by something like holy fire, he points his mace at the most "injured"-looking zombie that's still attacking and mutters out a prayer to Lathander to bring down yet another beam of fiery light, hoping that this time he doesn't miss.
Flame once again strikes out against the zombie, but this time his attacks connect as there is no nearby explosion to throw him off his game. As his attacks slam into the zombie if falters a bit as it now is moving even slower than normal, could it be almost destroyed? Torment then strikes that one as her rapier goes straight through the zombie's chest, and yet it keeps on fighting! Marion then moves away, not wanting to be in a precarious position. Shadow in the meantime manages to strike at the one attacking Torment as his dagger makes a clean, fast, and deadly strike. Elemoth then brings down holy light as the zombie is simply engulfed by it and turns into a pile of ash... Nevertheless, the zombies still continue their onslaught. The one that bit Elemoth tries once more, but this time he's prepared as he bashes the zombie's head with his shield, blocking off its ability to attack. The one that was attacking Torment, meanwhile sees another foe in the form of Shadow (who just injured him) and so it flails out with one of his arms and with a speed and strength Shadow was not expecting, slams Shadow into the ground (just flavor, you're not actually prone).

Current Status of Players: Shadow: In melee with zombies, 5/10 HP Marion: Away from danger, 1/8 HP Torment: In melee with zombies, 2/9 HP Elemoth: In melee with zombies, 2/10 HP Flame: In melee with zombies, 3/9 HP

As the zombie in front of him disintegrates, Flame runs toward Shadow and Torment and sees that they have made good progress on one of the zombies. Assuming they can handle that one, he heads toward the uninjured zombie. Flame sweeps the Zombie's legs with his staff with one hand while driving a fist into his chest with the other, hoping to slam the zombie to the ground. (Flavor)
The zombies attack seems to come from thin air, Shadow was definitely not expecting such a swift attack. Crap, crap, I need to get back to my feet, I don't know if I can survive a hit that hard again. Shadow uses his momentum from the fall to roll to the side shoving his sword straight into the zombie. He then spins backwards while reversing the grip on his dagger and stabs towards the zombies head. Short
Torment, out of most other options, and spurred by the heat of battle, continues to attack with her rapier at the nearest attacker (presuming it's not already dead).
"Yes, praise Lathander!" Elemoth says softly, as the holy light engulfs and destroys the zombie he was aiming at. Seeing as how it worked the last time, he tries it again on the most damaged zombie near him. "Fall in flames!"he half-shouts, exhausted, but still willing to see things through to the end.
Flame trips the zombie as it falls limply to the ground but nevertheless continues to fight on, its undeath granting it strength and toughness far beyond the normal humanoid body. Meanwhile, Torment stabs at one of the zombies, connecting with her stab as it simply goes straight through the zombie. Suddenly a dagger sticks itself into the zombies back as Marion released it. Then, Shadow stabs his shortsword through the zombie as it lets out a guttural "Raaahhhhh..." and then disintegrates into dust and ash. Shadow's dagger then finds its way into the head of the other zombie who is immediately smothered in holy light as well. Nevertheless, its undead fortitude keeps it fighting as it lashes out against Shadow, biting into his neck. All the while, during this fight it seems that the adventurers might win! The guards are actually landing a couple hits against the dragon, who seems to be preoccupied with a floating airship that has this insignia: some red mages have also been defeated by some of the adventurer groups, and yet you notice flying very high up in the sky seems to be a red mage that nobody has attacked yet, and all he's doing is... watching? You're unsure of what this being's role is, but nevertheless, you have a battle against a zombie to win.

Flame raises his Quarterstaff above his head with both hands and slams it down on the zombie with a guttural yell. He then follows up with a quick swipe of his claws to the zombie's face.
(OOC: I'm assuming the last zombie's dead on my turn.)
Marion lifts her dagger from the ground with Mage Hand and cleans it with Prestidigitation before sheathing it. "So uncivilized."Looking at her battered companions she lets out a sigh and grimaces in pain. "I suppose we're not of much more help any time soon."
The quarterstaff comes down, smashing on the head of the zombie as it splits open, showering everything everywhere especially onto Flame. Nevertheless, it is quite clear that this siege is not yet over, and yet you are all very injured... so what do you do?
EDIT: In addition, you are all feeling a bit... nauseous. The bites and attacks of the zombies begin throbbing with pain. I need a constitution save from everyone.
Elemoth blinks a few times slowly as the last Zombie goes down hard. He takes a moment to try and use his mail-covered hands to clean off undead gore off anywhere it's gotten on his body. "Well, it looks we've managed to clear out this street for now..." he says with a sigh, lowering his arms with his shield and mace with them, but not bothering to put either away for now.
"It looks like we've all taken quite a few hits, and I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm quite out of healing spells for today, so I think we should try to quickly get to a place of safety where we can rest for an hour or two and get our strength back, for the time being." Elemoth continues, looking around from side to side to see what others think of his idea.

A few of the zombies burst into dust as the group finishes them off, yet a zombie still manages to find its way into Shadow's neck. Agggh!! Shadow tries to break away but he is simply too weak. His vision starts to go black then a quarterstaff comes crashing down on the head of the zombieM Flame! You saved me yet again brother. The zombie splits open and erupts, zombie bits go everywhere. Shadow falls to a knee a grabs his neck. Blood is slowly seeping out of the wound that the zombie made. A wave of nausea flows over Shadow. Maybe I'm just not cut out for this kind of thing, maybe this is the fate I deserve after what I've done.
Most of you manage to fight off the wave of nausea, but Elemoth and Marion are not looking too great as the throbbing pain from the injury begins to travel as more of their body feels the pain. Nevertheless, they can still function and fight. You then begin to limp / walk towards the outskirts of the town, hoping at least there you can find a place of respite. Suddenly a group of guards escorting a crowd of people barrel past you: "MOVE!" and "GET OUT OF THE WAY!" can be heard as they almost slam into you. They pass by one of the few remaining stores Excaliger's Elemental Explosive Extracts as the crowd rushes past the shop one of the guards bumps into a barrel in front of the shop as you see in big letters: "FLAMMABLE, DO NOT LET NEAR AN OPEN FLAME!" It is at that moment when you hear a:
CRACK
Which is different from the previous booms and explosions you've heard before, but still just as startling. The sound is from a bolt of lightning that strikes directly at the roof of EEEE, although strangely there is no fire from the lightning strike, there's something else... a man. Or at least some strange almost-human creature. Its skin is completely white, while its eyes are spheres of jet black. It wears a spiky suit of dark full plate and in its arms, it holds a shimmering greatsword, shining like a piece of the night sky full of glittering stars. At the creature's side, a scabbard made of cut obsidian rests, clearly a holster for the strange and powerful weapon. The strange man-like creature leaps down off the top of the store, crushing part of the street. Several of the guards move to engage him while calling out to the commoners to flee (which they do). Meanwhile, the creature stands in front of the products of the store and seems to ready something. As soon as the guards (there are around 3 of them) get into range there is a voice, but it's strange, for you cannot tell the source of the voice. At first, you believe it to be from the creature, but its blood red mouth is not moving at all. It is then when you realize: The sword is talking. As it yells out in a deep and echoing (kinda robotic) voice: "IT'S DINNERTIME!" as suddenly the sword begins to vibrate, and the vibrations then travel to the creature as it moves with astounding speed, and slices the heads off of all of guards! The move is so quick, that it would be missed in the blink of an eye. That is when the strange things begin to occur: the bodies of the guards begin to degrade and turn to ash and dust, and yet an incorporeal form of them still is present, growing as more and more of their corporeal form is destroyed. Then, a giant mouth opens up on the sword (think Ragnarok from Soul Eater) as it takes a deep inhale, and you see the incorporeal forms of the guards sucked inside. The sword then seems to swallow, the mouth vanishing as you hear the voice once again: "Tasty... but BRING ME MORE!" And at that, the vibrating form of the creature begins to get up. It stands in front of Excalliger's Elemental Explosive Extracts (and their flammable barrels) and surveys the frightened crowd, before taking a single step, and then another, and another, and another, dragging the sword as it walks. The creature seems to take its time though as if it is enjoying the thrill of backing its prey into a corner.
You have 12 seconds to do something before the creature will surely have reached the crowd of commoners. You do not believe the creature has noticed all of you.
Seeing no time to be wasted, Elemoth quickly mutters a prayer and calls down a lance of holy fire down at the flammable barrels closest to the creature. "Lathander give me strength!" he hisses, bringing his shield up in case there's an explosion that would need him to hide behind it.
"I think that creature may be too strong for us... especially in our current state. If it turns to us, we should probably get ready to run." he says to the party while keeping his eyes still on the creature.

OOC: Radiant damage and fire damage are different things, but I see what you're trying to do so good intuition.
A mote of radiant light comes down and strikes the barrel. The barrel then cracks under the attack as the explosive extracts spill everywhere (including onto the creature). It doesn't seem to care though (likely thinking it was a stray fireball from one of the flying mages. He takes another's step, as the commoners are all around 40 ft. away and utterly frightened
