"We might as well be clean about it, then," Tanakir mutters.
He produces a shining javelin from his pack, moving so that the group in the ship is between him and another group (if possible). He'll dash if he needs to, but if he can move and keep his action, he'll activate the Javelin of Lightning, hurling it at a random kobold in the farthest group.

Four kobolds of the further group, to the left, collapse into a slumber in the midst of their run, victim to Rycider's magic. To the right, Tanakir hefts his javelin, which crackles and reforms into a bolt of pure lightning. It sizzles across the beach, splitting three kobolds in half before returning to javelin form in the torso of a fourth kobold; in horrifying fashion, however, the kobolds do not die, but continue to split apart and mutate rapidly, each side becoming a thinner and sicklier kobold.
Aradurk's taunt does not slow them in the least. The seemingly feral creatures toss a volley of stones across the sudden battlefield. Though a couple of stones strike Hox, and one bounces off of Rycider, they are largely ineffective, most landing short or sailing past, into the drink. The kobolds continue to scream their battlecry as Hox dumps oil upon the half-buried deck of the ship. Gruun moves forward with Killian.

Aradurk wades into the oncoming kobolds, slicing the first apart at the knees and knocking it to the ground. Even from the horizontal split, two kobolds begin to mutate and form, but the half-orc ends both swiftly before they can rise. No mutations split from this already mutated pair. Killian slices through two more, each of them spawning a pair of kobolds themselves. However, when Rycider shouts a bardic insult toward another, it falls dead, and no other kobolds rise in its place. Tanakir incinerates one with a cone of flame, singeing but not killing another kobold nearby.
The wrecked ship begins to blaze, the oil on its deck exploding to the alchemist's fire that Hox slams onto it. The intense flame quickly begins to melt through the old wood into the hull below. Gruun joins the front line, hacking through two more kobolds that each spawn a mutated pair.
