The swarming kobolds barely seem to notice their falling companions, continuing their frenzy without slowing as Hox knocks one to the ground unconscious, Killian cleaves through a pair, and Aradurk carves through two more. Each of Aradurk's slain kobolds spawn another pair, but Gruun slices through two of them before they are able to rise. Tanakir blasts through the skull of another, and yet another falls to Rycider's psychic mockery.
The remaining kobolds fall screaming upon Gruun, though the big bugbear barbarian is barely beleaguered by the bunching blighters. Another wave of stones skip harmlessly around the rest of the party.

Four kobolds are asleep, 70 feet away from Gruun, Hox, Aradurk, Killian and Tanakir, and 100 feet away from Rycider.

Gruun bellows a challenge to the small creatures trying to swarm him and goes into his rage. He continues to cleave through them with his Greataxe, shoving the forward to get closer to the stone throwers.
In the span of a few more seconds, the last of the kobolds have been torn asunder, knocked unconscious, burned, or have fallen into a magical slumber.
You stand amidst forty six kobold bodies, mostly corpses that have bloodied and stained the sand beneath your feet. No more rise or mutate. Of them, nine are sound asleep from Rycider, who is on her way to tie a group of four together, and three have been knocked out cold by Hox.
The shipwreck, already old and dry from years in the open, has begun to crumble from the spreading fire, burying whatever remained in its hull.
OOC: Each character has received 191 XP for defeating the mutated kobolds.
Hox is dragging one of the kobolds he knocked out, towards the fire. "Hox see kin die, but not make more kobolds. Need eggs for more. This not kobold." Hox tries to fly with the mutant kobold and goes to drop him.

The putrid smell of kobold flesh soon fills the air as the bodies are added to the ship's blaze. Rycider and Gruun manage to tie a group of nine kobolds together, who awake from their magical sleep shortly thereafter. After taking only a brief groggy moment to look around, they begin to struggle against their restraints, shouting and screaming in feral fashion; if it is a language at all, it is unrecognizable.
Area Description:
Beyond the burning shipwreck, mist obstructs the view further into the island from this beach.
This has become somewhat more detestable now that they're awake. As twisted as these little beings are ah don't think ah can, in all good conscious, throw them on tha fire, aware.Rycider admits to Grunn.
She will turn her back to the crackling flames and busy herself with brushing off of her garments.
Killian will crouch down near the tied up kobolds, watching them. "This... insanity... they are suffering. Someone has caused this. But these creatures are beyond hope. It is a mercy," she says, as she raises a hand and speak a few words. A ghostly, spectral hand appears on the nearest kobold's face.
OOC > Gotta play the crazy that she do. She will cast Chill Touch on a kobold (with Advantage because they are restrained). 24 to hit, for 15 necrotic damage.

Gruun will move the groups of unconscious kobolds together and assist Rycider in tying them up.
"These do not look right. We shouldn't leave the bodies to spread whatever this is."
Killian looks to the kobold bodies, then to the burning ship. "Would that we could have searched that, but we could put it to use..."

If Gruun is close enough he will try to grab Killian's hand to prevent her from casting on the restrain Kobolds.
"If they are to be put down, it should not be that way. Magics got them this way, let steel get them out."
Killian looks up at Gruun, her hand tensed in his grip. Her teeth grit as her eyes darken a moment (literally) then clear.
She looks at the others. “Steel, then,” she says standing up and drawing her sword.
