Amathile eats delicately and slowly with all the grace of a high elf. "So, lets summarize what we know. The master here keeps his legendary sword in the 'shed' back there. One that is extraordinarily difficult if not impossible to enter without the key," he says. He gracefully stabs a small radish and holds it up, then continues, "And some person or creature with red eyes has stalked our friend and drove him near crazed with fear... No small feat, but now he is missing and we must go to Icebough to talk with an Ent to gather more information. All mysterious, all dangerous and that about sums it up right?"
Six Coins sighs as he sets his dish down after the unsatisfying meal. "Don't forget the mysterious blizzard and started animals. Nothing is ever simple is it?"
"Normally I would take you up on a game or two, but considering the situation we are in, I am going to study my book here for a bit and then will go to bed. What watches are we going to keep? I can take a watch as I study my spells." As he continues to scratch behind the ear of Hunter.
Jown Sno entered the cabin after everyone else and closed the door behind him. While eating, he added to Amathile's summary, "And this spell doesn't seem to work as intended. Whenever our own spells start to not work as expected, things tend to be ****ed more than usual."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Qatyra, Fred, and Vaden all notice something out in the darkness, moving around the edge of the clearing, but back in the pines. It does not approach the cabin though. The notice the glowing red eyes that Hunter mentioned earlier.
As it gets later, everyone starts to get an uncomfortable sensation running through them. Everyone feels their hunger increasing, and the desire to eat the flesh of another person in the room becomes greater and greater as the night continues. The sensation does not become so great that you have to roll to keep from doing so, but you all receive one level of exhaustion and take 16 damage that lowers your maximum HP by the same amount. You would be eating whatever you can find for food. All of this goes for Fred as well.
Gilra summons a whole lot of goodberrys, but stops once he understands that it doesn't help.
(Btw, are we still pre-long-rest or after-long-rest? How is the exhaustion timing connected to it? I mean if we get a level of exhaustion directly before a long rest then it would get cleared out immediately)

It is because of the long rest so is not cleared out. You are post-long rest when you receive the exhaustion level.

You can gain the boost to HP, and all other affects of the spell. The food just doesn't fill your bellies.

"Concise as always." vaden says with a yawn. "Anyone want to play some dice or cards before we turn in?" He flips his golden coin as he speaks.
Coin flip... 2 1 heads 2 tails.

Jown will volunteer to take 2nd watch.
Fred is able to guard 3rd watch and more if needed.
Lot's of stuff ...
Sorumar will take first watch.
Vaden will take last watch.
Everyone doing a watch, please give me a perception roll.
Vaden: 38
Actually 33, mistakenly added the +5 he has to his passive perception.
Fred: 30
Lot's of stuff ...
Jown Sno's Perception: 18
Qatyra be up and awake for 3rd and 4th watches because of her funny elf sleep trance. She'll just assist others unless you need me to roll
Gilra also has the elf sleep trance, so he will take fourth watch.
Perception with help from Qatyra: 31
Sorumar Perception: 16

[OOC: Is this a disease or something else as Raist is Immune to Disease.]
