"I agree that we should rest and recover. And perhaps resupply as well." Gregor says in agreement with everyone else. "If our seers and diviners can't figure things out, perhaps some other members might give us some magical supplies to help us scout things out in person the old fashioned way." he adds.
You appear in a vaguely familiar room, poorly lit and filled with so many tables, completely covered with miscellaneous arcane paraphernalia, that you can barely see the dull stone walls and floor--though the walls are not so much obscured by the tables as by the matching shelves. You eventually manage to locate a door, then, after a great deal of frustration and failure, get to it, only to find that it's locked from the other side.
Gregor nods to Ketrey. "Yes, of course... but before I handle this, let me check to see if there may be something on the other side." he says, getting close to the door and trying to peer through any keyhole (if one exists) and then putting his ear to the door.
(Perception Check: 17)
(OOC: Oops, forgot the guidance roll, add 3 to that)
Stepping back from the door, Gregor shakes his head. "I don't hear anything on the other side. No holes to look through either, not even one for a key. I can try to break it down, if no one else has any objections, but before we try something like that... shouldn't we check what's on the tables and shelves in case they give us a better idea where we are?" he asks.
"Into the lions den it is, then" Ketrey makes her way in front of Aurora, and gesture to Zane and Gregor to follow. "Come on boys, no reason to let us girls have all the fun..." she takes a moment to look for traps and listen for danger.
Gregor nods, and takes a moment to ready his mace and shield. Afterwards, he tries to take a place fairly close to the front, and also attempts to search for any hidden dangers of any sort.

Everyone is given a potion of climbing, just in case.
Once everyone's done everything they want to do, you'll be teleported to the nearby tower I mentioned earlier.

(OOC: I guess everyone did what they wanted to do and we're at the tower?)
(OOC: I would think so. After a Long Rest, everyone should probably be ready)
((OOC: Ready to rock!))
OOC: Zane, any unfinished business?

OOC: Nope, Zane was just a bit late coming to the meeting point after the long rest. All that giants and bloody mess part needed a thorough cleaning.

Ketrey will cast guidance on Gregor "I believe you know how best to deal with this"
Gregor nods to Ketrey. "Yes, of course... but before I handle this, let me check to see if there may be something on the other side." he says, getting close to the door and trying to peer through any keyhole (if one exists) and then putting his ear to the door.

There is no keyhole, and you hear nothing.

Aurora steps to the door and knocks. "Hello? Anyone there? The door's locked and we can't open it."
The door swings open. You think you hear a faint, indignant snort, but it was probably just the wind.
On the other side of the door is a dimly lit stone corridor.

Aurora shrugs to her comrades and sheepishly grins. She then moves into the hallway.

"Sure, after you," says Zane with a nod.. and is ready for anything.
Gregor nods, and takes a moment to ready his mace and shield. Afterwards, he tries to take a place fairly close to the front, and also attempts to search for any hidden dangers of any sort.

(OOC: showoff...now I'm just expecting you to man-splain the hidden dangers that can be found within dimly lit hallways. LOL)
No dangers can be seen, though with those rolls, I'm tempted to add some.
