(OOC: showoff...now I'm just expecting you to man-splain the hidden dangers that can be found within dimly lit hallways. LOL)
(OOC: Sorry, just lucky rolls. I honestly didn't build Gregor right for the concept I had (he's too much Fighter and not enough Rogue) so to be fair, his normal perception/investigation rolls are not so good. That said, his somewhat shady background does kind of explain why he's capable of that stuff sometimes however.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Seeing that things seem fairly clear (as far as he can tell) Gregor steps forward. "If no one has any objections, I can take point. Better that I get hit than any of you, right?" he says, making his way to the front if no one protests. "Until we know what we're up against, I suggest we try to move quietly." he adds.
If allowed to go to the front, he tries to quietly move forwards, attempting to keep a little bit of distance between himself and the noisier elements of the party.

Ketrey, insistant on taking point turns to Gregor, only to find that he is no longer where she expected to see him. She rolls her eyes, relegated to follow, as she attempts to advance into the hallway.
You proceed forward, encountering only empty hallways, stairs, and locked doors--which you open the same way you opened the first door--until you exit the tower.
You are in the middle of a forest. There is a crude dirt path visible not too far off.

Gregor's ears twitch a bit as he manages to somehwat figure out the source of the sound. "Sounds like trees being knocked over. Possibly by something big." he says softly, turning his head to look at everyone. "I wonder what our best approach to figuring this out is?"

"Wait and see? Asking whatever comes what they want?" Aurora shrugs and points to where she last saw Zane. "Or if we also feel cautious we could always hide."

(Stealth 25)
You are so stealthy you can't even hear yourself, which is rather impressive, considering that you can hear your companions' heartbeats.

Would Zane have a sense if this is the correct direction for where we want to go? And.. we want to go slowly back towards the crime scenes, right?
(OOC: Let's find some trouble)
OOC: Trouble coming up.

You think you've been here fairly recently.
You hear, in the distance, a strange crashing noise.

"This place seems strangely familiar..." Ketrey looks in the direction of the crashing sounds. "What was that? We'd better have a look."
The sounds are coming closer. Feel free to roll Perception.
Perception 16+:
It sounds like trees being knocked down.

"Oh, that could be interesting," says Zane and steps somewhat behind the building to be hidden, but still keep an eye on what's coming their way.
"Wait and see? Asking whatever comes what they want?" Aurora shrugs and points to where she last saw Zane. "Or if we also feel cautious we could always hide."
It's getting closer. And louder.

Ketrey takes of running towards the approaching mystery. "Only one way to find out!"
Ketrey, roll Perception.
Not a critical failure:
It's a great big boulder, moving at high speed. It stops, swivels, and rolls towards you.
