It appears that the horses are inclined to be affectionate with Kwiz. At a quick glance around the room, Kwiz notices that the saddles and tackle are all still in the room and they look serviceable.
Very cautiously Kwiz goes up and touches one of them. He then looks to the party and shrugs, still half not believing what’s happening. Before putting the tackle on them, he looks around for boards that can be used to cover up the drop trap.
Finding spare boards isn't tough. They're around. Granted, they may not hold the weight of even a skeletal horse, but the horses could also just step over them.
"Vell... du seem to ha found dun mount after all." Andrømeda says, rather bemused by the circumstances. Giving a short laugh she looks back the way they walked and says, "Vi can call du Kwiz, de magical dødsrytteren." Looking back at Kwiz gesturing to the saddles, she asks, "Vould du like some help, friend?"
“That would be nice thanks.”Kwiz replies. “Though... I wonder if they are comfortable to ride... and... how will the townsfolk respond to us arriving one of these? Also... there are three of them, and four of us. We may need to double up.”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As they prep the horses to lead them out, Kwiz thinks back to his days at the academy ((history 15)) to remember if he know of any wizards specifically researching necromancy. Replying to Andromeda he says "No rush for now."

Necromancy was one of those things that students researched...in secret. There may be some folks here or there that Kwiz might have suspected of learning it, but no one that he can think of that he knew for sure.
Kwiz and Andrømeda lead the horses out of that room and into the central hallway. But, before leading the undead horses out, the group of you go into the final room to investigate.
Just like Kwiz saw with his spectral, magic ball of all-seeing light, two sealed stone sarcophagi rest in alcoves dug into the south wall here.
They look, for all intents and purposes, just like the other sarcophagi that you've found so far. These actually don't bear any markings on them. They're unmarked.
With that high of a Perception roll, Andrømedanotices that the sarcophagi are trapped. She doesn't know exactly what kind of trap it is, but she knows that something bad will happen if anyone opens those coffins.
As she looks around, Andrømeda spots something odd about the sarcophagi, moving closer but still on guard she takes a hard look at them. "Dir is something not right. Am think den's best not to try and open disse ones." She steps back from them and looks at the others, still tense. "Maybe vi go now, if vi ha no more to do here, ja? Vi ha de sverd, and a friend in need det vi should be getting back to."

“I can’t reach their backs...” Kwiz says, half in a whisper gesturing towards the saddles. “Shall we try to lead them outside?”

“Wow... sorta spooky.” Rush is wary of the skeletal horses.

So, are we leading the horses out of the barrow, taking them to the next room, or leaving them? :)

Next room I think. I don’t want to leave them outside, that might be trouble

Kwiz will give this room, and these sarcophagi a closer look now that he’s seeing them in person. ((investigation 17))

Andrømeda looks at the sarcophagi, cracking her knuckles with a frown, muttering to herself, "Fordømte bokser."
“I just know there’s going to be something bad here... but let’s just do it. And be ready to run.” Rush prepares his shield.

"Is dir some evil du can sense?" Andrømeda tenses at his words, grabbing her greataxe and scanning the room.
