Kwisatz is next! (I'm on mobile right now, so I can't update the map, but Rush and Sael have cornered Canton the furthest back corner of that room he's in.)

Kwisatz will step out ready a ray of frost in his hand to shoot if Canton continues to fight, and says "There is no reason to die...again... here. We are here to learn about the magicks in here. Help us learn and you can protect your bride."

"if I had any idea why I'm alive, don't you think I would have made sure my bride woke up, as well?!" 

You can tell, based on his body language that he's not interested in talking. You attack, it hits. ((I'll have to double-check his immunities when I get back to my computer.))

Ok. The attack is good. :)  He takes all of the damage. 

Sael is next! Although, I think we're going to fast-forward at this point. He has a lot of health, but the three of you teaming up on him and cornering him are able to overcome him pretty easily, even if it does take a little while to whittle him down. 

When he dies, you hear the sound of...it's like there was ambient noise that you didn't even realize was there and then all of a sudden it's gone. The undead, reanimated arms in the walls stop moving. Everything is still...as it should be - as it should have been the whole time. The silence is almost deafening.

Looking for personal affects, something to tell me more about this guy

While Rush investigates the body, Kwisatz will start his own investigation ((11)) of the room. Looking for anything arcane to give a hint of what’s going on here. He’s still unsure of what exactly Feyd was looking for.

Rush finds Canton's sword. He can tell that it's a magical sword, but he would need to have it identified to know more about it's properties. Other than that, Rush can tell that he was buried in fine clothes and clearly held some status when he was alive. Other than that, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot to uncover about him.

Kwisatz finds no artifact. He does remember that Hang-root mentioned that the artifact that she was given - which she never even really knew what it was - was destroyed after she accidentally reanimated the dead. As far as anything magical in this room, the only thing that Kwiz's spidey senses pick up is Canton's sword.

"Well..." Kwisatz says "I still do not know what Feyd was looking for down here... I feel there is more to explore, but after this" pointing down to Canton's body "and finding nothing of interest, I'm not sure what else I'll be able find, when I don't even know what I'm looking for..." Sighing, he clearly looks disappointing having no idea what it was that brought his research rival to this place.

"So was there nothing to be found with Canton's bride?"  asks Sael, walking over to the casket that Canton had initially been standing at.

Sael looks at it. The cover isn't sealed so she peaks inside and she sees a skeleton clothes in a rather expensive dress.

"Hmm.  I don't know Kwis, this does seem odd.  Maybe what they were looking for is Canton?  After all, you noticed how it got real quiet after he perished?  Strange, no?  And I thought that girl brought everything to life, but it felt like it was all tied to him."  says Sael.

“That’s a good point.” Kwisatz says pondering “And if everything had come to life, why not his wife? Perhaps she hadn’t actually caused this as much as she thinks she had. Really, Feyd was correct, in that the wand that had been given her shouldn’t have done what she claimed. Though, to be fair, magic sometimes is a bit more art than science, and strange things do happen. Should we explore everything while we’re in here? Or head out to find the others?”

"I'm gettin' a little tired of this crypt, but if you want to search now is the time." says Sael, cleaning up some of her injuries, and wiping grime off of her hand axes. 

“Same here...” Kwiz replies “I just need to know why the College is interested in some place so far away...” he then continues the search, heading to another unexplored room, investigating 25 on the way. 

Sael will also investigate.

The nearest unexplored room is back towards the very back of the catacombs. Kwisatz makes his way back through the hallways, following a trail of gore that the party followed once, before, until you get back to a room you've been in, before. Inside of that room, there is another room you never looked in to. The roof to this room has collapsed, leaving a gaping hole criss-crossed with thick vines, exposing the open sky above. The room is filled with sunlight and the bodies of a human woman and four elves, but otherwise it appears empty.

Kwis sees that these elves look to have been from the college at Silverymoon, as well. This was where the rest of the traveling party perished.

Sael follows Kwisatz for a while, but decides to check down a corridor the party hadn't gone in, yet, and opens the door: she looks inside and sees a single crate sitting in the corner of the door with a door that leads south. She can tell that the small room had been made into a nest for spiders, but they all look to have been killed, already. 

Kwisatz investigates any bodies that appear to have come from the College. Looking for anything identifying, as well as if they have any notes or hints of what it was that they were looking for down here. 23 ((fuuuuck... guess we’ll never know :( ))

Kwiz doesn't find anything useful. 

"Hmm...", Sael is apprehensive. She searches the room with her eyes carefully, and listens for any tell-tale signs of trouble.  If all is clear, or she can't tell, she opens the crate, ready to strike just in case.

Wandering back to his companions, Kwisatz, clearly disheartened says “I cannot seem to discover what it was the Feyd that the others were looking for in here... Perhaps it is time to rejoin our compatriots?”
