"Actually, considering the magical nature of the device, I don't know that it would be possible to melt it down. If we're to discover the identity of this Duke Zalto and what they are up to, I'd rather not do it with a giant homing beacon in our cart." Umbriel holds up the Rod of the Vonindod to punctuate his statement. "We have some rewards to claim in Silverymoon, and we may be able to gain some assistance at Citadel Felbarr if we head there, too."
"Well it is good to have someone on our side that seems to be able to help. Ahh what is that scroll..." Nyx says, pointing to the unintelligible one.
"Back to Silverymoon after this and then do we really need to head to Fellbar if we are leaving the Vonindod fragment with the Harpers?" the satyr looks at the others.
Gazing back at Krowen. "So seeing you know a few things about the giants and there Duke, what do you know about why this is going on?"

He thinks for a minute. "Just what I've told you so far. All the groups are looking into this though."
"Just to be clear, you can use these teleportation circles whenever you like. There is a mage at each one that can cast the spell when needed. Where will you be off to next?"
"That would be a great benefit in our quest. I must admit I have sung a few songs about Harpers and it's got me tickled to know that I have now meet some and they are helping me."
Nyxs looks around and then over at Nespril. As she does so she starts taking scrolls.
"I mite take a few scrolls then and and how did you say we get out of here and back to Silverymoon?"
OCC: If there are no objections from the Harpers she takes all six. Never look a gift horse in the mouth!
Indeed, Silverymoon. Before leaving, Umbriel will make arrangements to have Pale and the mule (did we ever have a name for it?) boarded with the Harpers, or at least with an associated stable. He'll also look over at Droop and smile. "A long way from being the slave of bugbears, eh? Zipping around the world, saving the day - makes one feel good, yes?"

Droop looks at Umbriel questioningly: "Droop doesn't know about zipping circles. But Droop helps kill nasty bugbears! Will we eat horse soon?"
OK, trekking to Silverymoon? Looks like a fast pace will get you there in two days. Also, remember Urgala gave you a letter for Harthoz Zymorven at Zymorven Hall a couple days northwest of Silverymoon, for a giant slaying Greatsword.
(We have been magically transported (via wine) to a wizard's tower - I'm assuming that we can leave through normal means? Like through a front door? If so, Umbriel is ready to go whenever the group is.)
Baeshra would have wanted to retrieve our mule and cart if possible, just in case we encounter any more large pieces of dangerous metals, and then is good to head on foot. Stopping for the sword first before continuing on into Silverymoon.
OK! The party picks up the cart, Pale the horse, and the un-named mule, and heads north at a fast pace.
The two days pass uneventfully, (consume 2 rations, or forage for Food with a DC12 Survival check), and you arrive in Silverymoon just as the sun sets on the 20th of Eleasis. You are surprised to find that Silverymoon is a beautiful, tranquil city full of trees and gardens, bridges and sculptures. Nyx knows from songs and tales that it has a great library, breathatking temples, shrines and schools of magic art and music.
What does the group do upon entry into the city?
(Othovir provided directions on how to get to the Margaster's tower, and what it looks like so you'll recognize it).
"I remember Othovir telling us about that stash of magic items here in Silverymoon he wanted to give us as a reward, but they are protected by magical means. We have one scroll of dispelling the arcane thanks to our new friends the Harpers, but we'll need another if we're to gain access to the items... unless Nyx is willing to try her hand at bypassing an arcane lock? I also don't really want to kill the guards protecting the hoard, it seems... excessive. We should find another way to take them out of the equation, if possible. Also, I'd like to find a tavern, somewhere to rest while we strategize." Umbriel shakes his near empty coin purse. "Somewhere inexpensive."
On the way to Silverymoon Nyx shares her stories about the beauty of Silverymoon but her conversation wanders on to the sight of sunset over Calimport while looking out to the sea.
"Did you want to have a quick rest first at this inn of yours? I am happy to scout out the place to start with, see about guard numbers and rotations. I do trust in my skill but incase things go south, did you want to do anything else in Silverymoon first?"

Baeshra will move over to Nyx, "I can help with the scouting." And he'll wildshape into a cat and jump up onto Nyx's shoulder, holding tight with his claws and wrapping his tail around her neck as he waits for her to head out.

Baeshra cocks his head at Umbriel, "I thought the plan was to melt it down and sell it? This metal is worth much to you softskins, isn't it?"

"Of course, they are yours. Take them!"
Now where to?
" Not sure I trust all this zapping about through the air like so much stardust.....but it'll save wear on my shoes at least."
" Silverymoon then?"
