Very good. The group meets back up at the inn. You find the chest is not locked, and when you open it, you find two potions of healing, a Potion of Stone Giant Strength, a potion that you haven't seen before, and 7 small black spheres about 3/4 of an inch in diameter.
"I can't tell you exactly what they are, but I can at least give you an idea of which school of magic they are enchanted with." Umbriel extends his hands, drawing shadows from the corners of the room and weaving them into an arcane sigil over the items.
Casting Detect Magic to see what flavor the unknown items are.
"Curious. I don't know specifically what these marbles are for, but evocation magic is rarely subtle. Unless there is objection, I think Whistler or Ireniana should keep this potion of Stone Giant strength. Droop and Lyngheid should carry the healing potions, and the unknown items we can secure until we determine their function. Outstanding work today, though - a well executed plan."
Baeshra shakes his head, "No, Droop. We leave, and then we eat. I would not like to be caught in a crowd when they discover its missing. We should leave now."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The party sets out at a fast pace, making good time for most of the first day. In the late afternoon, Ireniana and Owlbear are suddenly alerted to a stomping sound off to the left. They look to see a tribe of barbarians running toward them, fairly quietly for their size, with spears drawn.
Everyone roll initiative and take your turn if higher than: 15. No surprise round as Ireniana and Owlbear spotted the barbarian horde.
Droop Initiative: 14

Baeshra turns to the others, “Does anyone have a way to identify these?”

Your spell detects those objects. The potion doesn't seem to have a school. The marbles are evocation.

" Though...we're a fairly distinctive group. We should probably get as far away from here as possible."
Droop takes the healing potion then opens it up and sniffs it before replacing the cork and putting it in his belt pouch.
The goblin looks at Lyngheid: "We eat, then we leave?"
Baeshra shakes his head, "No, Droop. We leave, and then we eat. I would not like to be caught in a crowd when they discover its missing. We should leave now."
Droop sighs. "Fine!". Then looks up. "Where we leave too? Someplace for eating horse?"
Ireniana nods. "Agreed. Let's leave now."
I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.
"To Zymorven Hall, to pick up a Giant Slaying Greatsword? ...Maybe we'll find a horse on the way," Umbriel adds, trying to cheer up Droop.
Alright; Silverymoon To Zymorven Hall Looks like by road it will take about 3.5 days at a normal pace. Anyone want to do a different route or pace?
Road sounds good, but probably a fast pace for the first day and a half, go to make a clean getaway.
OK! Everyone make a perception check at disadvantage for the first two days, and fast pace means no foraging.
Then make a normal perception check for the next few days of traveling.
