By the time the others are stirring, Umbriel is sitting on the edge of the small ledge to the northwest, deep in thought. As he becomes aware of the group waking, he turns and suggests a plan. "Now that we know how to deal with the flameskull, it may behoove us to head back to that chamber first, then work our way back to this entrance, clearing the mine as we go. That way we're fresh when facing the maniacal undead menace. I'm open to suggestions, though."
The group makes it's way back to the pool without incident. Heading esat, they listen at the door door and hear gruff voices speaking Goblin. Droop (and anyone else who speaks Goblin) can hear that the voices are talking about how hungry they are.

Baeshra will give a roar and transform into his spider form and take a bite if the creature again.
Attack: 20 Damage: 9
that'll do it for the small one next to Baeshra! Although your spider form takes 4 acid damage before the creature dies.
Nyx lines up the one next to Whistler, shuddering as she see the others being burnt with acid.

The Sneak damage is enough to take out that one, nicely done! One left, next to Ireniana!
Umbriel will shift his Hex over to the remaining ooze, and throw two Eldritch Blasts at it (with two of those, I feel so much more useful!)

Umbriel would propose backtracking to the pool where Baeshra found the dead wizard, then heading due east.

Umbriel, only needing half the rest of everyone else, manages to attune to the Spider Staff, and identify the coin as a Feather Token. He identifies the bolts as Walloping Ammunition Crossbow Bolts, +1.
