Zogar: You cast your healing word and you see Aden's hand twitch slightly and clench up. Your coins go to work on undead caster 3 and they bash into it's face and neck repeatedly until the head explodes and flies off, the body falling limp where it was held rigid by Lia's spell. Your Sacred flame washes over caster 2 as it cannot react in it's frozen state.
(OOC: I'm taking that hand motion as a sign of life from Aden, rather than a death clench, right? Also, caster 2 is held but still alive, yes?)
Zogar redirects his coins to attack the Black Knight.
Coin 1: Attack: 13 Damage: 6

He then gets mad about caster 2 still being alive. Uttering a sternly worded prayer he holds out his hands and casts forth a 2nd level Guiding Bolt at caster 2.
If it hits the target only does half damage with strength-based attacks. It gets a save at the end of each of its turns, but not until then, so will have at least one turn prior to being able to save.

Getting attacked by the black knight Hrothgar moves quickly to dodge the first two strikes seeing the heavy blade whisk past him. As the knight brings in his final attack Hrothgar steadies his footing and uses his sword to reinforce his shield as the strike hits it. Feeling the large force behind the attack he grits his teeth as he holds his shield firmly in place to block it, his feet getting pushed back a few inches creating small skidmarks in the dirt.
Seeing many of his allies attacks deflect off of the knights armor Hrothgar knows he must hold against this creature.
Lunging at the creature again Hrothgar shouting loudly Aaarghh!! He uses his sword in a hammering motion to strike twice to try wear down its defenses.
First sword Attack: 13 Damage: 11
Second sword Attack: 24 Damage: 13
He will follow up with another backhand swing to the side of the knight to try and get past its shield.
Third sword Attack: 12 Damage: 11
Being loud and using brute force to try and keep the knights attention he steadies himself for the knights response. But if needed will his protection as his reaction impose disadvantage if he tries to attack Hastings. Trying to block its attack with his shield.
(not using the bardic inspiration yet cause i think the AC of the knight is 20 so id need to roll a 7 with a d8 and im not feeling that lucky lol )
Seeing that both of his strikes had landed true, Hastings grits his teeth and prepares to unleash another two strikes as he did before. With a quick motion of his hands he makes both of his blades move fast enough to be a hour we they fly forward to strike.
Zorgar: Your coins whistle through the air and begin to bombard the black knight repeatedly. Some of them bounce of the thick armor and a few get deflected by his shield, but several make it past, hammering the weaker points, causing dents and cracks. Your guiding bolt thuds into the undead pinned to the ground and it begins to glow slightly, highlighting the wounds it has already taken.
Undead caster saving throw: 3
Lia/Emma: Lia's ghostly skeletal hand materializes next to the knight and grasps at it, but he bashes it with his shield and it dissipates into nothing as Emma fires a ray at the knight who dodges out of the way just in time.
Hrothgar: As you attack with your sword, the knight brings up it's shield knocking the first one to the side, then the second slicing it along the neckline sliding through the thinner armor causing the helmet to come slightly loose and come off before it brings up it's sword and knocks your last attack away harshly.
Hastings: Your dagger glances off the knight's armor but you bring your Rapier in hard, exploiting the weakness in the armor you already made, stabbing your rapier straight though again as the knight roars in agony.
Aerdeth: Your arrows flit through the air at the knight, but he brings his shield up at the last moment and deflects them.
Everyone: As the other heroes come rushing in to fight alongside you, the Death Knight drops it's sword and it's hands glow with light and darkness at the same time and it calls shrieks in the gruff voice of something from the grave, "The master will complete his ceremony, I will not let you all intervene."
Hellfire Orb Damage - Fire: 26 + Necromantic: 34 DC 18 Dex Save roll.
A combination of fire and dark energy washes over a 20 foot area, affecting anyone in melee combat.
(I believe Zogar is out of range, but in case I'm wrong, I'll roll. While magical, this isn't technical a spell, right? So no advantage from Mantle of Spell Resistance?)
(Hrothgar will have advantage to spells from [Tooltip Not Found] and from shield master added +2 to dex save to get 18, lol just enough, but half is still 30dmg though unless Emma's counterspell worked?)
Watching the Hellfire Orb explode across the battlefield, Aerdeth swears silently to himself. He had underestimated the brute - and there was the pressure of time.
If necessary, he flies closer to the melee, within 60 feet. With his free hand, he makes a grasping motion - and the dark swordsman perceives ethereal ravens from the Queen swirling around his form, divine anathema to the undead creature.
Aerdeth is casting Mental Prison with an Intelligence Saving Throw against DC 18. Pass or fail, the death knight takes 30 psychic damage.
Additionally, on a failure:
The area immediately around the target’s space appear dangerous to it in some way, in this case, swarmed and coccooned by radiant raven creatures. The target can’t see or hear anything beyond it and is restrained for the spell’s duration. If the target is moved out of the illusion, makes a melee attack through it, or reaches any part of its body through it, the target takes an additional 10d10 psychic damage, and the spell ends.
((Disregard that. Nothing to see here. Move along, citizen.))
While he waits for the smoke to clear so he can take an assessment of the carnage, Zogar offhandedly drops another Sacred Flame on the last undead caster.
It automatically fails the dex save and takes 10 radiant.
Seeing the black knight prepare some kind of attack Hrothgar ducks behind his shield bending through his knees to make himself smaller. A magic glow eminates from the shield as its soaking up most of the impact from the dark energy.
After the dark energy dissipates Hrothgar stays in the same position a few seconds more to make sure its over. Then stands upright again trying to see through the smoke the blast has caused. The griffon carving in on his shield is still lit into an orange glow now clearly visible perhaps even through the smoke allowing his allies to see his position. Knowing the enchantments on his shield saved him from a devastating blast he calls out for those that were near him, still weary that the black knight is still around.
Hastings? Are you alright.
His armor still eminating some small green lines of smoke rising up from the necrotic energy.
(to be sure you said combat is over so i gues the blast also destroyed the knight correct?)
Hastings looks at the others as he simply sweeps some dust from the explosion off of his armors seemingly untouched otherwise with not even a single hair out of place. "I am perfectly fine. I was quick enough to get away before that explosion came within an inch of me. I see that not all of you were so lucky. Perhaps if any of need to rest we should do so for now."
As the smoke and dust clear, you see a ring of burn marks in a neat 40 foot diameter circle where the Death Knight had stood. Nearby, behind a still smoking tree, Hastings pokes his head out as Hrothgar stands up from behind his shield. Nearby, scorched but still standing is Ferik, Sidri, and Edward standing over Kimi who is clutching Aden while her hands glow hot with healing magic.
Edward steps up to Hrothgar and Hastings, then looks over to see Lia and Emma standing by the doorway and Zogar standing over the last undead caster as he drops another ball of flames on it. It's squirming stops and it falls limp, still pinned to the ground by Aerdeth's arrows. "Thank you all for intervening when you did, otherwise my brother would be dead, and me perhaps along with him."
Kimi stands up, allowing Aden a chance to rest a moment after healing him. "He will be ok, thanks to your teamwork. I can't thank you enough."
As Kimi begins her healing rituals, Zogar quickly calls upon the favor of Mythrien Sarath and casts Beacon of Hope in a blanket covering all his allies, allowing them to recover more quickly.
(OOC: Ideally any who are taking healing steps such as spells, potions or skill based healing will now get maximum recovery. Zogar will try to save his own healing abilities, knowing that we're not out of the woods yet.)

Hrothgar bows his head slightly No thanks is needed, you would of done the same had our situation been reversed. But im afraid it is not over yet.
He waits for everyone to get close enough and speaks up for all to hear. This thing, before it .. before the blast. It said its master would complete a ceremony. The creature was delaying us i think.
He looks to Edward and the other group. We will need help from those who are able. I believe the top floor is clear from what we saw. We need you to help us clear the ground floor so we can enter the tower and deal with the lich. Let us move quickly and make sure the ground floor is emptied and gather before the entrance of the tower.
(ooc from post i see an door/entrance to the tower. If possible id like our group and those willing/able from the others to quickly search ground/top floor for any stragglers and have our group at the tower entrance. Is the 2nd floor the only way into the tower, i assume they would see a door on ground floor but for now ill assume there is but one door.)

Since I crit I need to double the sneak attacks as well so here is that damage.

Aerdeth does not waver. The armor was thick, but the knight would fall under their combined assault.

Another medical problem. Indefinite hiatus. Sorry, all.
