Doc had had no need for further armor or weapons, he had what he needed on hand. He had appraised the weapons and items however and complimented Rurik on his work. After they had spoken to Madame Hucrele he had gone back to the Inn and gathered his gear from the common room, ready to head out for the citadel.
Before the group leaves, Kindra inquires at the inn about any mail or delivery service, and sees about the possibility of mailing that sword she made to her client.
Fargoth shifts his backpack on his shoulder and peers into the ravine, the lack of noise from the wildlife making him uneasy. "Is this it?" he wonders aloud. "I was expecting some sort of castle..."
Doc nods at Fargoth, "[Statement] This one also assumed as much when hearing the title of Citadel."
Doc will walk over to the ravine and look down to see if he can make anything out. Depending on how dark it is, he will reach down and grab a rock and cast Light on it and toss it in.
Doc, seeing the stairwell, will take out his weapon and shield and cast light on his mace, attempting to walk down the stairs if it does not stray too far away from his group.
Fargoth watches Kindra descend, before testing the rope for himself and starting his own climb. "Well, the weather's pretty good now...", he replies to Baymen, "...but I suppose it could change back."

Roland doesn't need anything else, he's ready to go.
I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.

Roland shrugged as he walked to the ravine and peeked down. "old citadels can sometimes resemble ruins. Perhaps the owners abanoned it to rot."

"Let's get down to there, then." Kindra ties some rope to one of the pillars and waits for everyone to be ready, then climbs down.
From the top looking down, Baymen chimes in, agreeing with Kindra,
"Yes let's go save some children and stop this terrible weather. When we're done, there will be an entire barrel of beer ready for us at the Inn."
He climbs down as well.
