„Huh,“ Bram says, looking at the waterfall. „It‘d almost be scenic here if it wasn‘t for the murderous toads.“ He pauses. „... and if I could see a damn thing. Does anyone have a means of producing light that doesn‘t require a torch? Seems like a little light would be a great idea before we go storming any castles. Or toad-holes.“
Although it's beginning to get darker, the area is still in dim light and will be for at least an hour or two more.

Looking up from below the waterfall, Tafod can't see into the cave. It wouldn't be too hard to climb onto a ledge next to the waterfall while remaining out of sight of anyone watching from inside the cave. (DC 12 Athletics)

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Once he's on the ledge, Bram can see that the cave mouth opens into a dank chamber. Water gushes from a hole in the nearby wall, forming a shallow stream that plunges over the ledge behind you. A stagnant pool of water fills a corner to your right, and a thick patch of multicolored fungus grows atop a pile of offal in the middle of the cave. Two froglike humanoid creatures crouch in the shadows behind the fungi, apparently keeping watch. They wear poorly fitting armor made from leather and carry spears.

Urusula creeps along beside her companions. Piercing the gloom with her Darkvision, Ursula scans the environment, trying to pick out any other hidden enemies before proceeding. [Perception - 19 ]
Whispering to Bram and Tafod to keep quiet, she outlines a quick plan. Oy, you two muscleheads, listen quick. I'll try to drop yon toads with a little mindshadow magic [Sleep] and you can creep up and dispatch them quicklike after they're snoring. D'you ken? If they be too strong for my magic, you can do what ye do best and hack 'em to pieces. But let's not try to waken the whole cave, yea?
Mechanically, Ursula will try to cast Sleep on the two guardtoads. If that catches both of them, hopefully Bram and Tofad and Danver can get in there with coup de graces. ;) Let's try to take this sneakily.
Tafod will move, stealthily, as soon as the two guards are asleep; one asleep, the other confused; both confused; either or both looking as though their becoming most alert to possible trouble.

Seeing her allies rush in to take the toads unawares, Ursula swears under her breath, but holds back her larger unveiling of shadow magics. Instead, she reaches out both hands, one for each of the two nearest toads and makes claws of her hands, rending their shadows with her dark energies.
