Surprised by the ferocity of the bandits, Bram hesitates. When the wolves converge on Tafod, however, he steps forward, taking aim at the beasts with his crossbow.
Attack: 25 Damage: 5
Narrowing his eyes, he fires off another quick shot at the wolves again: Attack: 15 Damage: 6
Then he takes off towards the farmhouse, trying to press in on the bandits before they can hurt his friends.
Bram aims, then fires a bolt which goes straight through a wolf's head and then between Tafod's legs. He follows it up with a second shot which sinks deep into the remaining wolf's leg.

Ursula fractures the wolf's being, and it slumps to the ground, dead. The last enemy, seeing how things are going, decides to get out of here by dashing away. Bram shoots a bolt into the bandit's fleeing back, but he continues to run.
(The order got a bit mixed up there, with some people posting twice. I used Bram's second post since it was a ranged attack, but Tafod will have to redo his turn since the enemy is out of reach.)

Tafod hurls a javelin which impales the bandit. All the enemies have been defeated. You hear the rasping sound of a heavy bolt being drawn back, and the farmhouse door opens. A half-elf woman of middle years steps out. She’s carrying a battered old crossbow. Two boys of fifteen or so follow after her. The woman looks around the farmyard, frowning at the bloodshed, and sighs. “My thanks, strangers,” she says. “Those Iron Circle jackals came to rob us. I barred my door, but they said they’d burn the house down with me and my boys in it. You saved our lives—but who are you?”

The half-elf is a tough, frontier woman, bowed but unbroken. “My thanks again again for saving us. My name is Ilyana, and these are my sons Jarek and Jarl. This is our farm. The reavers killed my husband Karthen when they invaded the dale. My boys and I have been trying to get by ever since.” Talking about the Iron Circle makes her mad enough to splutter and shake her finger. "Harkenwold could use more heroes like you. You could do a lot to help us, if you're willing."

Letting the others take the lead on dealing with the distraught farm folk, Tafod will search the leaders corpse, taking it apart piece by piece if necessary, looking for anything interesting; rings, jewelry, gems, gold, maps, letters, sigils, instructions, weapons and any sort of useful gear. He will search any pouches, packs, look for hidden linings in clothing, false heels in the boots, check for any distinguishing marks/tattoos on the body; he will be very thorough.
