(Nip proves to be a master of distraction, waiting until the Giant Boar's attention is diverted to sneak in and land another heavy slash! The Boar is very angry but also very hurt.)

Aphelios, you're up.
DMs note: Sorry if this is getting repetitive. It won't all be like this.
Aphelios grabs two handaxes from seemingly nowhere, they shine bright as if the moon existed inside of the weapon.
Going in for the kill Aphelios uses Two Handed Weapon to throw 2 axes at the boar to finish him off.
OOC: If I’m not within 20 feet I’d also like to dash/walk towards the boar to get adv. I’m not able to roll dice when using my phone so could DM please roll for me it’s +2 dmg modifier with a 1d6 damage for each handaxe. I’m still not getting e-mails sorry for taking so long guys.
(Aphelios' Handaxes rip thru the air impressively.)
Attack: 19 Damage: 1
Attack: 4 Damage: 4
(One of the axes misses wildly, while the 2nd one looks like it's going to be a devastating blow to the head, but only ends up slicing the Giant Boar's ear a bit.)
(Nip jumps into action, once again waiting for the perfect moment when the beast is distracted by the other members of the party, plunging his Rapier right into the back of the Giant Boar's skull, killing it instantly!
As you all stand there, breathing heavy from the adrenaline, you look at each other with pride, having survived your first battle as a group. Trefor is still unconscious, but now that there is no immediate danger he can be looked after. It is dark and setting up camp for the night seems like an unavoidable choice, as tracking in the dark would be prohibitively difficult.)
DMs note: No worries, Aphelios, you all are going back to full strength.
(Manxim goes over to his fallen comrade and begins to say a small, silent prayer, before laying his hands on the young Half-Elf. Trefor opens his eyes and is helped up.
You all make camp for the night, taking turns on watch to make sure nothing sneaks up on you all. Nothing bad happens. You awaken, refreshed, and ready to continue.
You pick up the trail again and walk further into the woods. Around 11am or so, you reach a clearing. You slow down and see this:
(About 100 feet ahead, you see 2 goblins guarding a stone entrance. The goblin on the right looks like a serious little fellow, an intense look on his face as his eyes periodically scan the perimeter on the south side.
The goblin on the left, however, does not seem to be taking his assignment too seriously. He seems to be amusing himself with a dirty goblin magazine, hooting and hollering as he unfolds the centerfold and tries to show it to his more serious compatriot, who is visibly annoyed at his antics.
The two guard goblins start having an animated discussion... in Goblin. )
Spoilers for Nip (the only one here who knows Goblin):
"Check out the *unclear* on her! Huh? Buddy?"
"Knock it off, Krang! We're supposed to be keeping watch while the boss does his ritual."
(Krang looks like he doesn't give a shit.)
"Dude, you're such a goody two shoes! We've been here for 3 days and haven't seen one single person! Nobody comes here!"
"It doesn't matter. Something happens and the boss will tear into both of us. So do your job."
(mimicking) "So do your job..."
(The rest of you all hear gibberish, but the serious one seems to be angry at the lazy one.)
"What the hell is taking so long, anyways?"
"It'll take as long as it takes. Boss said it might take as long as 24 hours, and they just got started last night."
"Then the kid gets it, right?"
"Yup. Needs to 'spill the blood of the innocent' to make the place all holy for the Goblin God."
"Well, that'll be fun, at least."
(The tension between the two goblins seems to be eased. The serious one almost cracks a smile. The lazy goblin goes back to his post, sits on a stump, gives a quick glance to the area he's supposed to be patrolling, then goes back to his magazine.)
DM's note: Ok, so, just so you're all aware of the situation, you're all about 100 feet away from the guard goblins. If you try to shoot them with arrows from where you are you would have disadvantage if you have a shortbow but if you have a longbow it's a normal roll. If you make it to the forest cover to the north you'd be about 60 feet away from the lazy one and about 80 ft away from the serious one. Also, if you want your damage to be non-lethal please let me know when you roll.
"I wonder if Nip and I can sneak around to the other patch of forest above the lazy goblin and take him by surprise. Aphelios can use Minor Illustion to make an inticing sound/image of a lady to draw the pervy one into the patch of woods toward us. When he is close, we can grab him and bind him with my rope and then interrogate him to find out what do expect beyond those stairs. If anything goes wrong, Aphelios, you hit him with your long bow and the rest of us will join in if he still stands. Whudya'all think?"
"ah yes, yes! so not only a proficient hunter but also a strategist, huh? Well well, whatever we do, we shoud do it quick: I overheard those Goblins and I believe that we don't have much time past nightfal to do something or it might be too late for Bess..."
"I like the idea of luring that goblin and interrogate him, but I'm worried the other one will suspect something if his companion takes too long in the woods. Aphelios, Manxim, do you think you could handle the grumpy goblin on your own if he becomes suspicious while we are with the slaking one in the woods?"
To DM only:
I imagine the worst, but do I know anything about gobling religious traditions or arcane rituals that require the sacrifice of an innocent and if there is any specific purpose for it?
DMs note: This is one of those deals where I have to stay out of it until you guys have to come to an agreement. If you're going to make a move please roll stealth. If you're going to do something else please describe it to me and roll a 20, I'll tell you what skill it will use based on your description and add the modifiers. For now, go ahead and give me a pre-emptive Initiative roll that may or may not get used.
Spoiler for Nip:
You think back hard to see if you remember anything about Goblin rituals. You don't remember much, but, like many cultures, you assume there's some sort of ritual with a holy man, an altar and a bloodletting act.
"ugghhhh" grunts in pain from the bite of the beast.
"We need to hurry and help Trefor, and if this goes much longer I might need a hand or two as well"
I then try and stab the giant boar with my rapier.
Attack: 17 Damage: 5
