That evening, after most of the travelers have bedded down, Gleamsilver comes to those of you who decided to meet with her. She begins by introducing herself if that hasn’t happened previously. Otherwise, she gets right to the point.
"we don’t work for the same people, but we’re all on the same side — we share a belief that the Cult of the Dragon must be stopped. I need to know what they’re carrying in those wagons and where they’re taking it. Will you help me find out? We can do it tonight."
Ulric grunts, "There was an incident some days ago causing the cultist to spill most of their wagons contents on the ground. The bulk appears to be gold and other treasures, destination currently unknown. There may be more in there we don't know about. However, with the recent attempt on our lives, I would argue a move tonight would be in our best interest. Could you elaborate on who you are working for?"
"So you already got a look at what they have in their cargo?" Gleamsilver asks with a appreciative smile for Ulric. "That was quite a good accident then, and saves us from having to try to take a look with stealth or force." She then glances to Taviel. "The two of you, clearly not working together, just came to a meeting I suggested anyone Ulric here is working with comes to... I'd say it is pretty clear you two are working together. I cannot think why you would be trying so hard not to be seen working together, other than if you were working for someone."
" what do you know about this Jos character?" The gnome asks with a glance in the direction of the cult wagons. "Did you see that he has a shaved head, not to mention a brand, like one of those Red Wizards?"

Naroth listens to Gleamsilver trying to see if her words speak truth.
Insight: 12
Fully trusting her words he comments, "The cult is a scourge on this land and I will do whatever you ask of me, within reason. They have attempted to kill me, almost succeeding and I would like to see them all dead. Even Joc as he has obviously put his lot in with them."
The gnome did look sincere but did not say anything they did not know so far, nor about the people she is working for, yet somehow expected full autobiography from them. Was not going to happen - Harper's secrets are for Harpers. "We are caravan guards who were attacked by those cultists more than once. Decided to work together on that simply to survive. No nothing of that Joc you two are talking about but if he is with them, he is sure the enemy."
Gleamsilver gives Tavial a knowing smirk. "I see, going to tow that line huh?" She asks with a shrug. "No matter to me, just hoping to get some idea of how much you all know here, and how much you realize you are getting into." She gets up. "If you aren't interested in this discussion, then I'll head out, and leave you to your own devices..." She pauses a moment with an eyebrow raised in challenge.
Naroth looks to Taviel, "We have to trust someone sooner or later, might as well be this one, especially since it seems she is working on the same side we are on."
"And I do, I am going to work with that stranger. As do you, I presume? What does it have to do with our personal information? She did not share it but we are all, supposedly, after that cult. Good enough for me. I do not have to know her grandmother's name to fight alongside her. But if she insists on learning the color of my underwear before making a deal ... well... sorry, it's no deal for me then."
"Not sure what you mean by this under where you speak of..." Gleamsilver says with a frown. "Is this some sort of code phrase you are all using or what? Does the color refer to how concerned you are by my line of questions?" She sighs. "I am sorry if I am coming off as pushy, I am that, for certain, but I simply don't know what you know, and I think we are all looking at a very dangerous situation, and feel all of your information might be essential for truly making any difference in the days to come."
(OOC: as underwear doesn't exist in this time period... Women wore shifts under their tunics, with a band to flatten and keep their chests from throwing off balance in a fight. Even the breast-band was only used by warrior-women, as most other women didn't have a real need to keep such things from moving about. Only real 'underwear' then was that shift and, if worn, the breast-band. For men there were drawers, a sort of loose-fitting shorts with a draw string for the waist.)
((OOC: We are still in Faerun, right? A magical world with an incredible mix of thousand years old cultures of different races some of which were quite decadent? This is also still DnD - the birthplace of Chainmail Bikini, right? With half-naked Drow women in those and more revealing "armor" on the cover of every book? The necessity is the mother of inventions. Women are traveling and fighting, quite often with magic too. That requires support and cover when and where it is needed. Even on earth, the history of underwear is over 7000 years old (particularly bra can be traced as far as the Greco-Roman period). So, forgive my strict disagreement, but Taviel does have underwear. Not insisting on gnome's knowledge about such things, though.)
"My point is, you so far shared nothing about yourself but asking questions about us. I am willing to share my knowledge about the cult and help to destroy it by any means possible. But personal unrelated information is personal here. And I told you the truth - I do not know that Jos you two are talking about, aside from the fact that he joined caravan the same time you did, not a guard and keeps to himself, or, rather, to cultists. I would be as happy as you to learn who is he and why is he particularly important." She looked at Naroth waiting for explanations.
Ulric speaks slightly louder to bring the discussion back to the topic at hand.
"I don't know anything about this Jo, though I suspect it would help. I believe my companions are somewhat cautious given the recent and repeated attempts on our lives. We understand the danger this cult poses and all are agreed in the need for it's destruction, though we come by that choice from different journeys. May I suggest, in the interest of partnership, you provide us some of your story. That may help all of us lower our guards and better work together for the same goal."

Those watching the cult wagons do not notice anything different from the normal tasks those cultists have done over the past weeks.
Ulric grunts, "There was an incident some days ago causing the cultist to spill most of their wagons contents on the ground. "And why do you think we are working for someone?" added Taviel curiously. Unlikely Harpers just gave away their agents.
