Germain quickly looks around for some way to bar the entrance to this area from the way they came.

You would be able to spot that the keep's front doors are stoute and have a thick bar that can be placed to bar them from the inside. It would likely take a good bit of work to get through them, if you can get them up in time...
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Naroth would move to help Germian bar the door from outsiders.
Str: 20
"Now that this little battle is over, where do we go from here, continue to the interior of the keep or somehow get word to the lizardfolk outside to start their revolt?" Naroth asks as he helps lift the bar into place.
Ulric moves to search the dragonclaws for anything of use, keys, parchments, anything of immediate use.
"I suspect we only have moments, we need that door closed before the entire camp is on us. After that we need to get what we can and keep moving. We can ambush search parties. Our potential allies will need more than a raised alarm to attack their former masters."
"True to that. Though if we are about to clear the whole place by ourselves, why would we even need those allies?" Taviel shrugged. "Let's check that beaten path?" She did not move, though, allowing someone sturdier to meet the next group of enemies first.
After securing the door, Germain would pull out a pair of his ball bearings and whisper into them for a moment before handing them to Naroth and Ulric to throw out into the courtyard.
Magical Tinkering so that when touched they repeat the words, "Rise Lizardfolk, the keep is falling!"
Toc watches as the group quickly moves to secure the door, along with a bit of added color from the shouting beads of metal that are tossed outside. He quickly searches the bodies here for anything of interest as well, keys or magical items or the like. Assuming the party secures the front door, he'll lead the group down the well worn path sword out and ready, moving as quietly as he can.

The southwest corner of the room is a makeshift carpentry shop, where cultists build new chests and boxes to hold the plunder...
Hearing sounds of pounding ont he doors that Germain and Naroth just closed,a nd barred, you ralize you likely aren' going to have time to search through that corner though.
You move along the paththat seems to have the most traffic...
Swamp water seeps into this chamber through a crack in the foundation to pool inches deep on the sagging stone floor and fill the air with a cloying, moldy stink. The cultists laid a walkway of planks across the floor so they can walk between the two doorways without soaking their feet. This chamber isn’t used for anything other than a passage between areas.
Moving past the room, you come to the next chamber... The puddles in the previous area don’t extend into this chamber, but the smell does. The most important feature of this chamber are the stairs, one that leads down to the caverns beneath the castle, and the ones that lead up to level two of the tower. There is no doorway across either set of steps.
Ulric nods, "Best to go up. It's easier to defend from above an attacker trying to climb the stairs and our pursuers may split up. Lets see what this castle has hidden for us."
The top of the SW tower has a landing with 2 doors.
The first door leads to... Cultists’ Sleeping Chamber The chamber is empty of all but reed mattresses and belongings in wooden trunks. A small stone hearth provides meager warmth. The single other door in the room is always kept closed but not locked.
The other door, inside the sleeping chamber, leads to... Unused Room A portion of the roof and northwest wall has collapsed in this chamber, so it isn’t used for anything.
Back out in the main landing area, you would hear sounds from down the stairs now, though it appears those sounds are moving further down, likely following the sounds of Germain's tinkering.
Checking out the second door in the landing area... Cultists’ Study The cultists who share the sleeping area use this chamber for studying their spellbooks and for practicing their magical craft. The chamber contains three stools, three writing desks, and a basin of water.
There is nothing else of interest on this level of the tower. What do you do next?
Toc spends a moment looting/searching for anything valuable. As quickly as he can. Then he looks to the group, "Well, I suppose down we go. We have to face these cultists one way or another."
He heads back down the stairs to the 2nd floor landing. He heads down the hallway that leads into the keep.

Which way do you wish to go?
Toc suggests they head up first.

Taviel agrees - let's be methodical. Then the upper levels can be held by lizardfolk.

Naroth nods his head in agreement and then stands by the stairs to guard as everyone moves upwards, and then will follow behind.

Moving up the stairs you come to a landing. This landing has a path leading back into the keep, from the tower, and stairs that continue upward.
Toc leads the group upwards.
