"Yes, let's finish it. Or them, or both." The looting gave her another thought, though. "Some say dragons never forget - or forgive (!) the slightest trinket taken from their possessions. I wonder how the cultists are in this regard."
Toc finds some basic writing supplies, some clothes, and not much else.
Moving from the tower into the second-level of the keep, you find the hallway leads straight, but there are two doors on either side of the hall. Further along the hall ends at a t intersection, paths going to the left and right.
First door... Cultists’ Sleeping Chamber The lowest-ranking cultists sleep here. The chamber is empty of all but their reed mattresses and simple belongings in wooden trunks.
Room 2... Cultists’ Sleeping Chamber The chamber is empty of all but reed mattresses and simple belongings in wooden trunks. A small stone hearth keeps the chamber warm.
As you finish up with these two chambers, sounds of footsteps can be heard on the stairs. What do you do?
Naroth suggests quickly splitting the party up into each room and then peeking from a slightly open door at what is coming up the stairs. If an enemy comes from the stairs we can leap out and attack hopefully from surprise.

From the direction of the stairs 3 dragonclaws and 9 cultists come into view. They do not appear to have noticed you as of yet. Please post actions and initiative. Your actions are for the suprise you ahve during the first round of combat.
Naroth would hold his action till any AoE's spell effects go off, but then he would summon his Echo to stand right behind the Dragonclaw and then have it attack as he ducks back into the room again, wanting to stay within 30' of his echo.

Toc Initiative : 11
Toc will wade into the middle of the enemies, stepping at strange angles in smooth dance like motions as he swings his flame sheathed blade at the dragonclaw.
(BA: Bladesong. Movement: into middle of group of enemies. Attack: Green flame blade.)
Attack: 23 Damage: 10. 10 fire damage to an adjacent cultist.

Germain initiative: 13
Germain steps out of his door and sends a blast of electricity at the dragonclaw, or nearest cultist if it had already been slain. Then he tries to step back into the room and hide.
Toc heads further into the keep at this level, "Let us clear above, before we head down below. I'd prefer not to be caught between two groups. The more we can take care of on their own like this, the better off we'll be."

She was ready to face the cultist downstairs.

Toc is going to be methodical about it. First the left door, then the right door, he's push open each one after another and search the rooms quickly.

Ulric nods, "We are best positioned to ambush them. Let us wait and see who is coming."
Ulric summons his spirit weapon right behind himself.
Any room will do for Taviel and Nissa (say, with Naroth). The sorceress will just keep away from the door - hiding is not her forte.

All of the enemies are down. The fireball would likely have been enough, but the various attacks against the dragonclaw makes it a done deal.
You realize the fireball is likely to have drawn more attention to this area, as it was not quiet.
Are you heading further into this level of the keep, or going back to the stairs?
Are there any windows that look out over the courtyard?
