Shere moves to T5 and looks to see what he's up against. 18Perception
You can't see too much. 100+ feet away you can make out the skeletal arms of the weird tree stretching towards the cavern ceiling. You see a few figures close to the tree shifting slightly but not much from this distance...
Despite being a bit of a blunt instrument, Garnet is able to land a blow on the blight, chopping it nearly in half. It leaks a black ichor as it wheezes into undeath. It's dead.
This part of combat is over. The figures that you can just barely make out seem to be still, shifting slightly in the gloom. With the tree 100+ feet away, how do you want to proceed?
Garnet turns to Shere and says “Give me a minute to do this. Talk to them, find out what the hell is going on here.” Then she reaches into her pack and pulls out the oil of sharpness and starts applying it to her longsword. She motions the others to come up and look at what is going on.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Ithelion walks close to garnet, looking at the direction of the figures "it seems they are weak to fire, this is a good thing to have in mind. . . now, about those people. . . Maybe they are mages? this can be dangerous" ithelion closes her eyes and puts one hand foward, concentrating as she casts Detect magic on the direction of the figures
Ithelion, you know that the supposed master here is called Belak - sometimes Belak the Outcast. You know from previous experience that is a druid of some power. You also know that one of the Hucrele twins is a wizard. You also know that SIr Bradford was a paladin of Pelor.
When you look towards the tree, everything is still waaaaaaay out of range (but with your roll) you are able to extend your spell a bit and you notice lots of fuzzy magics in the distance. Necrotic purples, the dark yellow of transmutation, the soft white of abjuration, and the green of enchantment all coalesce into one rainbowish ball from this far away. The biggest is the purple, which flows like inky smoke everywhere....
You won't be able to get a better idea until you are closer...
"This is bad. . . Belak seems to be here, he is a powerful druid so this explains the Tree monsters. . . not only that, it seems like there's a misture of different magical energies in the distance, i see Necrotic, Transmutation, Abjuration, and enchantments into one big rainbow ball, maybe they are preparing some kind of spell? . .. i need to get closer to learn more, my Detect magic will not last long, it's better to know what we are dealing with, before taking any other action. Also, Shere, i'm sorry but i don't think burning the whole place down will help. . . let's go, slowly, be carefull of traps, but if we can't stop them or something goes wrong. . .well we will try to follow shere's lead. let's go"
The elf slowly began to move in the direction of the big tree, being cautious and paying attention to any traps, she was crouched to not draw much attention
Ithelion will go to T11, hiding behind cover and checking in front of her to see if there is any change in the field, she will wait for her comrades to follow her
Holding the holy symbol of Moradin to his chest, Krom mumbles a prayer to his god making his armor give off a soft red glow for a moment. He gives the rest of his companions a nod and holds his battleaxe tightly, ready to move with them.
(OOC: Used Blessing of the Forge on Krom's armor, giving him a +1 to his AC.)

Garnet nods to the others as she finishes coating her sword. “I am ready. Let’s bring this abomination down to the ground.” She readies her sword and appears _really_ strong, her muscles appear larger to you. She also casts protection from evil and good on herself and readies to wade into battle.
Krom charges straight ahead at the twig blight. Lifting his battleaxe above his head, he brings it down like he is splitting wood.
Movement: Moves up to R9.
Action: Attacks the twig blight at R10 with his battleaxe, Attack: 17 Damage: 8 slashing.

Okay how far do you want to go? Judging by the map, looks like there’s cover.
Daemyar - “This will be a fight to remember. This will bring great honor to us. I will lead.”
[because nschrok is still mia, I’ll throw it back to you how you want him to proceed, if at all]
