With a soft sigh, a little smile and a barely audible hum to herself, Alyssa would 'doodle' in her notebook as she'd putter along after the boys. She'd continue to work along in the next room. Occasionally she'd look up to see what they were up too with the stone. Surely the three men had everything under control. It was just a stone plug, right? She'd smirk to herself, going back to her pages. Surely they were capable of handling it with their combined wisdom and strength.
Leon shrugs and moves to the stone. He hammers several pitons into it, then threads a rope through them. Glancing to the others. "Can I get some help pulling on this then?" He asks, tightening the rope and preparing to pull himself as well.
The stone is about 6 feet tall, 3 feet wide, and gods know how thick. You are looking to pull something with potential weight over 3 tons (8000 lbs) that was stuck for ages. Let's assume (for simplicity) that pitons are made of adamantine and have harpoon shape. Possible but it needs a lot of (collective) work.
(Does it seem to be likely to push in vs pull out? If not then I am at a loss here... I doubt if the ropes are strong enough, regardless of us as a group, to pull that much weight.)
(I say "push" feels more doable, but this is the same argument as about silvering weapon over campfire (remember?) - absolutely not possible, but cool, so, why not. All I am saying is, it looks possible but obviously not for one person - collective push/pull with Strength check and probably doing something about that "stuck" part?)
So the group hammers in the pitons, attempting to 'break the seal' as it were, not to lift it, just get it 'unstuck'. Then, Ramious, Leon, and Bugs all get to one side and push as hard as they can, attempting to slide it off.
If that doesn't work, we'll try a few more things.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
What's the difference between a Wizard and a Sorcerer? Class.
Let's make it more sporting: two Strength checks (pure Strength) for two attempts to move the rock from each of you. Collective DC is 48. You beat it - raw Strength of three men was enough and you pull that "tooth" out, no - may be it's time to do something to lower the difficulty.
And keep in mind Bernard's warning - you do not want to touch the rock or the walls around.
(Aha... Looks like the rock is one of those obstacles - not a puzzle, but annoyance everyone would prefer to skip (may be we should not run the next dungeon - they say it is full of non-combat encounters). No problem. Consider yourself miraculously removing the rock.)
Beyond the plug is a small foyer holding three sealed urns on the east and west sides. To the south are double doors of bronze with glyphs worked into their faces. Alyssa could make out the writing: “Here lies Tloques-Popolocas, master of the others, who is like the wind and the night!”
That should be us up to 40, which means we only have to get another 10 from Ramious, unless we are just tkaing the better of the two, then we are only at 31, and Ramious will need a 27 to make it happen.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Also more than willing to do puzzles. Just seemed to have been a poor joke in poor taste? Sorry folks)
If you want/need Alyssa, she would contribute.

When in the next room Alyssa would encourage Leon to begin sensing for magic (if he wanted) as she translates out loud for the group, “Here lies Tloques-Popolocas, master of the others, who is like the wind and the night!” She’d pause and then look to the others. The elf’s eyes would flicker as she reviews her memory. “Dasa instructed that we retrieve the seal of Zotzilaha from Tloques-Popolocas‘ Sepulchre.”
Dasa chose well - ancient rock fall before raw strength of the warriors. Not right away (though first pull allowed to adjust the technique) and very slow at first, but the rock fell, covering half the corridor. Still, there was enough space to crawl around and get into the foyer. Quite possibly (most likely even) the Seal was behind those bronze doors.

Bernard does some little stretches to limber up. "Sure think," he responds and grabs a robe.
Bernard doesn't have a high strength score so idl like to give someone advantage with help but can roll if you want.

Good luck guys...
Alyssa would put away her notebook. She was willing to contribute if they actually wanted her help too, she was just being facetious.

I miss read that, looks like I get one more strength check.
First was an 8, second is a 5
We need a 13 or higher for the second attempt, we can do this

"Anyone want to check those doors for traps and such?" Leon asks, moving forward to 'help' someone do so.
Bugs only has a +1 to investigate. His perception and survival are high but surprisingly low investigation.
(Alyssa’s passive investigation is 17, perception 16 if it makes any difference when entering into areas.)
With Leon’s blessing and Ramious not moving in right away, Alyssa would take her steps forward to investigate with Leon’s help.
Investigation: 25
