Leon was studying the forward statue when the sound of old dry hide being turned apart filled the silence of the room. Ramious really did not like to loose his bets! The moment his axe touched a stuffed cat, its old fragile skin gave away, some dusty stuffing fell out - and a stone spear with silvery point flew straight at the tiefling. Catman hissed and pounced over the room adding a claw attack:

Cat3 vs Ramious: Attack1: 13 Damage: 11

                                Attack2: 18 Damage: 7

The catman in front of Leon (C1) did not bother with the spear, but dropped it to the floor and tried to rip off githyanki's throat with his teeth:

Attack: 22 Damage: 11

If Leon takes damage - Con save DC13, please.

Cat2 was slower that others but ready to fight as well.

Ramious Initiative : 16

Ramious shouts, "I WIN THE BET!"  As his shield rises to deflect not one, but two strikes by the cat creature. 

Alyssa initiative: 4

Alyssa became so focused in on her notes and sketches, she lost all sense of what was happening around her. Her head would tilt up for a moment in thought, but her eyes still distant, before looking back down, practically oblivious to surprise attack at this time.

Bugs tosses two darts at the one by Leon and yells out.  "No, I win Taxidermy is not a statue!"

Attack: 17 Damage: 15

Attack: 12 Damage: 14

(Touching the taxidermy triggered them, but it's the cat statues attacking us I believe....)

I think we need DM ruling on that.  First sentence makes it sound like touching the statue caused the stuff cats to come up but the second makes it seem the other way around.

(Yes, of course, hopefully the DM can clarify.  In the meantime, would you like to lay a small wager on it?  Say...1 gold?) 

Statues are attacking - sorry for confusion. But indeed, the attack was provoked but destruction of a stuffy.

We need Leon's two rolls here and can continue.

Now moving statues proved to be too fast for a sudden shot from Bernard, and "cats" continued their fight against aggressors:

Cat3 vs Ramious: Attack1: 15 Damage: 7

Cat1 vs Leon: Attack1: 8 Damage: 7

                                Attack2: 6 Damage: 7

First cat just scratched Leon's armor, but the one on Ramious was real threat (last shield?)

Ramious casts his last shield spell to protect himself from the cat creature, before moving to attack.  He swings his axe at the thing. Attack: 27 Damage: 15 + 3 thunder damage.

Attacking the cat who scratched his armor. Attack: 10 Damage: 17

Ramious was fast - both to protect himself and to strike the statue. The axe left a deep mark on the skin of the jaguarman (now you could see spots on his hide). Leon missed, but now the "slow" cat joined the fight. He pounced on Ramious in one smooth motion, attacking with claws on both hands:

Cat2 vs Ramious: Attack1: 12 Damage: 8

                                Attack2: 25 Damage: 13

Alyssa's turn, then Round 2 for Bernard.

Ramious growl screams as the cat creature scatches under his armor with a precise hit.  His face twists up and his teeth clench together and he faces his foe. 4.  His eyes seem to glaze over and yells, "YYGGAAAARRR!!!" as he faces his foe, his grip on himself seemingly lost.

 Alyssa's ears would twitch at the sounds of hisses and grunts, finally turning her head at Ramious' loud yell. Her eyes would widen in surprise. There was no time to chastise herself. The elf would hold out her hand, taking aim to pelt the tiger (C2) in the head with a Fire bolt to get it's attention.

Attack: 24 Damage: 8

The fire wisp burrowed into the hide of the catman, leaving a small scorch mark, though did not stop his attacks. Neither did Ramious' sudden range.

Seeing how wide his last throws went he took a moment to shake it off.  He then tossed two more.  This time one at each.
