Halec just puts his hands to his mouth and calls out, “See any shards down there, old boy?”

"nope, just a whole lot of booze, which i got rid of to ensure your soberness"

"Shards? What is he talking about?" She apparently overheard what Halec yelled

“If you actually destroyed perfectly good booze, I’ll be a bit nonplussed with you, Anthony,” Halec calls. “Yes, shards, m’lady. Shards of the Ruby Snowflake. Do you remember the snowflake from your mortal life? It blew up.”

"come on down here and sniff it, i dumped it for sure to ensure you're not gonna be a drunken oaf if we get into any fighting."

She flies straight into Anthony, possessing him, then leading his tiny body back up to the second floor to reunite with everyone, then shows the way to another rotting wood staircase that leads up into the darkness, the ghost removes herself from Anthony's body, and explains "This is the real staircase up to the third floor, there you should find that crystal and my daddy and some super scary ghost. Its too scary up there, so I'll be with my mommy, bye bye." She then leaves.

 “Feel free to borrow his body as long as you like, dead” Halec says. 

" Uhh, I think we should take a rest. I'm pretty hurt after that guy chilled me up. " And I cough up some blood.

Ophiwalyn finds a small bedroom that looks exactly like the one with the specter (minus the specter), and takes a short rest.

Halec has a nip of the sauce without Anthony’s judging comments. “He’s getting as bad as Helen,” he says to Chazrael and a Ophiwalen.

After the rest, I head upstairs "Lets kick some scary ghost a$$"

You reach the third floor, it is a single large room that apparently is another library, books stack high to the ceiling on shelves, though, this one has very few shelves on it, leaving most of the room as empty space, the wood floor has a distinct design on it; a circle with diamonds arranged into a pattern inside. On the other side of the room is a fireplace, above it is a large cylinder-shaped container, inside is the ghost of a man with cloths of the average formal wear. Underneath, in front of the fireplace is a part of a red crystal with zigzagging points, and a spear-like shape near the start, when looking at it, one thing comes to mind; the Ruby Snowflake piece.

“We’ve found it, huzzah!” Halec calls out. “We can get this back to Central City and buy the region some more time, now!”

"not so fast" I say, "we must rescue this family" I grab the snowflake crystal, and the jar, and head downstairs.

Halec will lead Anthony and the others to retrace their steps out of the mansion. “Strict time table, old boy,” Halec says. “The ghosts have haunted this place who knows how long. We must return this shard to Central City post haste, no dallying on other matters.”

Chazrael nods. "We can always come and save this family at another time. These ghosts may not want to leave this place."
