Jirel did not stretch and was not pissed soon enough, so she was sluggish and took the breath direct, and with full force. Gritting her teeth and stifling a growl, the barbarian would waver, actually putting an arm out to rebalance herself from potentially falling. The force zapped practically half the energy she had in the tank. But she wasn't even close to giving up.
With heavy breaths, Jirel would regrip her axe and correct her posture.

Zaf uses his wings as a shield. Though when that's not nowhere near enough, words spoken in druidic and a shaky gesture made quells at least some of the elemental force behind the blast.
