Tristan looks toward the hallway back to the feast room, alert for any signs of pursuit. “Let’s hurry this long, guys. Not sure how much longer the others will be distracted.” He hums a little tune, providing Dog with bardic inspiration. (Add 1d12 to attack roll, saving throw or ability check)
Turning his attention back to the Fang, Tristan lashes out with a melody of disturbing whispers that only the Fang can hear, filling his mind with jumble of terrified thoughts.

Gash casts Firebolt, hitting The Fang for 13 points of damage.
The wolves attack Martinswarm, the first one missing but the second biting for 8 damage (halved to 4). This is just enough to push him back into his humanoid form without causing any extra damage.

Dreadful Aspect (Recharges after a Short or Long Rest). Each enemy within 30 feet of the Fang must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened of the Fang for 1 minute. If a frightened target ends its turn more than 30 feet away from the Fang, the target can repeat the saving throw, ending the effect on itself on a success.
The Fang runs, his Quick Step legendary action preventing any attacks of opportunity. The warlord dashes out of the room, running towards the feast hall.

The royal emissaries are questing to try and sway the votes of some gods. They have recently met with the displaced god known only as The Traveler and found them to be perhaps a suitable candidate for expanding the size of the heavens. This means they are presently on the path of trying to sway the gods to ascend the Red Scourge, an ancient red dragon, to the hells and The Traveler to the heavens.
The first of their quests to try and sway the votes of the gods is to provide Tempus, the God of War, with the head of a king. The party opted for the reviled leader of The Fang, known himself as The Fang. With the help of The Traveler, the party arrived in The Fang's crude palace where they fought their way to him in his aviary and killed him. With all but a few of his men still frozen in place, the battle has all but ended, leaving only a few mobile barbarians standing.
(Leveling up will technically occur after this encounter is resolved, but I know that Kulloda is interested in persuading these barbarians in some fashion...)
Here are the quest options as a little reminder. The party has begun the process of funding the traveling circus as a temple to Leira, although I don't think it is formally completed yet. There was also some talk about someone becoming a cleric of Loviatar, which you could certainly do upon leveling up.
Talona (Disease/Poison) — Will change vote to Dragon if party taints the water of 12 villages with poison (not necessarily fatal) Shar (Darkness/Loss) — Will vote Dragon if party steals a shard of Moonlight from Selune’s plane Malar (Hunt) — Go to Fey Wilds, kill an Elk (the last of its kind) and mount its head in the Alciondria lodge’s doorstep and will vote dragon Loviatar (Pain) — Will vote Dragon if 1 party member becomes their Cleric Tempus (War - Kulloda’s “master”) — Will vote Dragon if party brings them the head of a sitting King Aumanathor (Fire) -> Retrieve the Eternal Cold Flame from Wood Elves in Northern Poria (See Auril) and will vote Dragon Dumathoin (Earth) -> Retrieve Hammer of Duergar Hero and return it to the Duergar and will vote Dragon Shaundakul (Wind) -> Free Faustian (Djinni) from the Drow Queen and will vote Dragon Leira (Illusion) — Will vote Dragon if primary temple (travelling circus) is restored. The party must finance its rebuilding and find the survivors. Previous temple was destroyed by another God. Kelemvor (Dead) — was the one who proposed the Dragon, will offer boon if Dragon is elected, will change mind if a Temple is devoted to him, in the Capital Tymora (Luck) — Boon if Dragon ascends, no changing their mind Talos (Storm) — Sway 5 gods to Dragon to get boon
Ilmater (Endurance) - Boon if Dragon ascends, will vote Finnegan if 1 village is cleansed of poisoned water (possible overlap/impossibility with Talona’s quest)
Eldath (Peace) — No information Torm (Courage/Self-Sacrifice) — Will vote the way the party wishes for sufficient prayer and self-sacrifice.
Bane (Tyranny) — No boons, no changing his mind Mask (Thieves) — Was the one who proposed Finnegan, will not change mind.
