The spider and the drow rider seem spurned by the comment, though the spider likely only understood a few of the words and the 'intent' behind them as it hissed in rage, Rose's ploy somehow working far more effectively than expected. The spider careen's right for her, it's two front legs raised in an offensive, threatening posture as the axe just barely hits the drow.
The others continuing their flight from the fight, gaining significant ground as they do.
Rose stands as a lone fighter, a beacon of radiant moonlight in the road as the Driftglobe pursues Root matching his pace though still significantly behind, creating an odd effect of the 'sun' seeming to be hovering over the ground in pursuit floating fourty feet in the sky like a tiny lighthouse.
The Rider & spiders, minorly injured enter the radiant area, both spiders taking quire a bit of damage, but the rider himself seems singed, at best. As the spider uses the last of its movements the rider jumps from its back with a grace Rose has never seen before, performing effectively a spinning pirouette accompanying a perfect front flip, landing the drow just on the other side of the halfling. Rose, likely turning around, expecting to see her foe bearing whatever his weapons were down on her, instead see's the elf just finishing downing a silvery liquid before tossing the vial aside.
The mans face was the picture of tempered fury and honed skill. The spiders, unable to get any farther hiss and try to frighten the halfling with threatening poses and actions.
Running another thirty feet, being about ten feet outside the radiance, the closest drow lets a bolt fly at Rose, the other two who just started running do as well. Somehow, one of the crossbow drow loses his grip but manages to catch his crossbow before it slips out of his hands.
Party is up, you are all between 80-110 feet away from the farthest drow, and about 50-80 away from the spider and super saiyan drow.
Rose grunts as the bolt hits her amd grits her teeth as the poison works its way into her system, though she didn't feel the intended affects of said poison. Rose's taunt seemed far more effective on the spiders than the male drow, though it seemed more effective on the male drow than one would expect. One of the quirks of the drow themselves. Rose healing herself to negate some of the damage she'd received before fleeing in a way so as not to be struck as she did so, breaking towards the other pursuing drow, much to their surprise.
Fallan, seeing that the 'super' drow was by a margin of feet closest, takes aim and lets loose a bolt, intending to strike the drow. And though she does, her celebrations are cut short as the bolt hits directly on his throat, only to break. Unfortunately Rose had already left proximity by the time her bolt hit.
Root ceases running as he joins the others in standing there deciding how to proceed.
Bell too stands there in the middle of the road, as no real clear path forward has been made based on factors, but Rose's taunt seems to be keeping the drow from following the others. (you may keep the stealth roll if you decide to hide)
The male drow don't seem as ticked off by the taunt yet for some reason they just can't seem to let it go, the spiders however are frothing with fury as their mandibles drip venom. Or perhaps it was because the radiance incinerated them as boils and the smell of burnt ichor rose into the air.
The closest drow also feeling the full force of the burn, but.. it seemed less effective than it should be. In response to Roses 'insults' the super drow snarles with a wicked smile as he gave chase, drawing two blades that practically bled shadows and gave chase (Dash) as he felt the sluggishness of the spell weighing on him.. Then I shall prepare a joke for her! he practically spat out. The other drow feeling the singe as Rose gets close enough, one of the drow fell instantly, the one whom had been wounded prior and surrounded, and the others seemed to balk but not fall. Knowing that they only truly had two options here.
The two remaining drow, realizing they really had no other choices here, took aim, hoping to knock the little ***** out, as the driftglobe got ever farther from the battle, and ever easier on their eyes. Both however miss, as the blasted 'sun' was still in their eyes, one however, managing to open himself up far too much (ADV on attacks against that one drow) as both he and his other ranged ally move 15 feet back, to get out of the wretched aura.
Party is up. B,F,r are all standing 100-115 feet away from the closest drow, Rose is faring well considering.
Determined to help her fellow halfling, (and basically not noticing that her other compatriots had moved off the road behind her), Fallan defiantly continues to notch an arrow and let it fly in aid to Rose. However, seeing the odd result of the shot at the "super-drow", she shifts her aim at the newly opened drow, figuring that with this distance, there was no actual advantage to continuing to aim at her first target. Pulling back the bowstring she mutters under her breath "No hobbit is going to die to save my bacon... oh, bacon would be good about now.."

Bell moves into the nearby tree's, seeking to hide and doing so very well (19) once she moves into the low brush a few feet in. Root follows suit, doing much the same before Bell vanishes from sight.
Fallan, taking advantage of the one drows misfortune, lets fly a bolt at them before they can recover and though landing a solid hit, the missile only sinks a few inches, dealing little damage.
The potioned drow draws his two seething blades as he follows in pursuit of the halfling as he follows her, though not quite being able to reach her even with a dash, as the moment he enters the aura, though with a growl that sent shivers down Rose's spine he resisted the aura. Two of the other drow didn't fare as well, while the last one effected seemed to almost completely ignore the damage entirely.
At this point, Rose is about to pass the camp if she continues her run, while Fallan is now 100+ feet away from the nearest drow as they all follow as much as they can.
The drow that were already 'ahead' of Rose Take aim, and with the driftglobe continuing to pursue Root, and the Drows backs to the lightsource, they are no longer effected, they smile, more out of relief from the pain than anything else as they take aim. Rose stumbles a little from the poison and pain of the bolts as they strike her. Rose briefly thinks to herself Dammit Fallan...I can't hide with you out in the open like this. Maybe my luck will hold just a little longer....Rose tries to gather her strength to push through the poison. Her head starts to swim as the poison finally starts to take hold and she finds it impossible to concentrate. The spiritual guardians surrounding her fade and Rose stumbles slightly but continues to run. Rose briefly debates with herself about taking a potion, going invisible early but risking Fallan, or simply running and hoping she can out run until Fallan is hidden or far enough away that Rose can try to give them the slip. The bolts in her back serve as a painful reminder of what could happen if she doesn't make the right choice and the super drows blades seem dangerously close. Ultimately she decides one last dash to put distance between them is needed before she can lose the drow. And she would have to pray the others stopped Fallan from standing so openly.
Movement: 15ft further into woods (half speed to maintain stealth).
Realizing they can't be too hidden with the driftglobe still blazing sunlight, Bell calls out to Fallan, hoping the Drow are too far to hear. "Rose is trying to lead them away from us! What are you doing!? I may not particularly trust Selune but I trust her! She'll meet up with us after she draws them away!" Then she turns to Root. "Turn off the globe and lets go in a little further."
Moving along a bit faster than Bell, since the burden of her armor slows her. Root will stay 5ft (Half speed is 20ft) ahead in the forest. “If you think it will help.” Root we’ll say the command word turning of the globe.
Fallan reaches back to withdraw another arrow from her quiver, figuring that even at this range, she could help Rose by attritting the health of her pursuers. However, she does an almost full-body double-take when she hears Bell's admonishment. Looking first down the road toward where her friend Rose's predicament continues to unfold without assistance, and then toward the roadside bushes from whence the perturbed voice of the satyr comes, in a performance that could rival any frustrated and angry small child, Fallan stops her attack. Stomping her foot, and forcefully extending her arms down to her sides, with her short bow vibrating from the force of the move, Fallan mutters: "Dammit, when I can help, we don't want or need it. Yeah, that makes sense." With that, she stomps ferociously toward the underbrush alongside the road, finds a well-hidden spot, and sits down with a "thump", crosses her arms, and waits for what comes next. "All this and no bacon either," she thinks.

Two new DSB, ADV Vs Rose, due to surprise:

Attack: 18 Damage: 12
Venom save 13: 9
The powerful drow with the dangerous blades is far behind, if only due to the aura that no longer permeated the area, much to his weaker companions relief. Rose dashes forward, but doesn't see the two new drow that had been waiting, as they both jumped from their hidden places and venom coated blades slashed out at the halfling mid-dash, both blades connecting, and slicing careful cuts into each of her sides. Rose's world goes black after a final thought, though whether by venom, or the embrace of death, she couldn't tell, her body falling, skidding, then coming to a stop in the middle of the road as the words of the drow she had spoken to first, rang through her mind... something about there being a force of equal size waiting... there were six drow to begin with, most of them had died. Then the deadly drow who has pursued her, plus the two spiders... plus these two new ones...
Unseen by Bell as she 'lightly yells' at Root, Rose has already fallen, as if in mockery to her words as she and Root both move deeper into the wooded area. With a word, Root ends the Driftglobes magic, unfortunately also ending its pursuit, and the item falls to the ground, inert and darkness once more prevails over the world. Luckily Rose's blessing still lingers.
Fallan moving to join her comrades after a small tirade, also doesn't witness Rose fall. Luckily, thanks to her diminutive stature, she naturally blends in with the underbrush, making her almost invisible to the eye, though without active stealth, not to the ear.
The shadowbladed drow stops as he see's Rose fall. Part of him admired her spirit, but there was unfinished business. Turning back to where the party 'had' been, the entirety of the drow ambush now faced that way, each of them looking for where their quarry had gone. The two who had brought Rose down, one picked her body up, forcing a liquid down her throat, as the other followed, his blade to her neck in a way that if he were to flex, it could easily be severed.
Party is up. Rose is down. All the drow are moving towards where the others went, though they don't know where you are at the moment.
Each of them now walking casually down the road, though the three weaker drow showed signs of injury

Attack: 20 Damage: 8
