Running, Rose turned to see, or rather not see Fallan out in the open again. Assuming her friends hidden and able to slink away Rose knew now was the time shake her pursuers once and for all and reconvene with her friends. She begins to speak the words to cast invisibility until she dissapears complete, shrouded by Selûnes cloak. Rose continues to flee into the forest hoping to hide somewhere out of the way.
Bell continues moving slowly, putting more distance between her and the road. (Action: Dash, but still moving half to maintain stealth so 35 ft.) 'Please be safe Rose... I know I just said I trust Rose before Selune but... Selune, keep her safe,'Bell thinks to herself as she creeps onwards.

"Hiding."Fallan thinks. "I joined this great band to AVOID having to hide from whatever IT is. I don't think IT was Lolth or her drow kin - but maybe it was? Now where are we crawling away to?"
Fallan goes into full stealth mode and moves farther from the road, trying to stay where she can see/hear/follow Root and Bell.

Odds of rose being hit by one of the three remaining FF's using a 1d100, if it hits 50-55 (5% odds) Rose will have to make a DEX save.

Rose, after getting sliced on one side, manages to eek out the words and motions to her spell, before disappearing entirely from visibility. And with the spiders down, the Drow couldn't rely on the spiders additional senses, as she moves out towards the forest.
Bell too moves deeper into the forest, rushing silently, costing her two points of her stealth to do so but managing to make ground, far from any eyes anyway.
Fallan however becomes the wind itself, and even though she's following the others, they are completely unaware of her existence.
As does Root, the party escaping into the tree's in a similar fashion to this:
Meanwhile, the drow look around in frustration for a moment, before the one who'd guzzled a potion said in his native language Fan out, and spray the ground. Just take a guess, and we may find her. All of you, cast Fae Fire on three!
One! Two, THREE!
Luckily, thanks to Rose knowing the language, she knew that SOMETHING was about to happen, and managed to just barely avoid being lit up like a christmas tree. With their attempt failed, and the other drows FF's exhausted, the leader growled louder. Fan out, head back to the road away from Silverymoon! I doubt all of them have such skills! Hurry, if we don't catch them within the hour, we will be forced to abandon this place, and our plot discovered thanks to your incompetence! it was clear this drow didn't know Rose knew Undercommon.
All of the drow using their remaining movement speed to attempt to pursue the rest of the party.
Rose remains hidden and let's the drow run off, praying that she bought enough time for her friends to either flee or hide enough. Wincing at the pain from her wounds and utterly exhausted of spells Rose knew there was nothing more she could do here besides pray to Selûne to keep her friends safe until morning.

Bell stows her rapier as she goes, and looks for a small rock or a broken branch to pick up; something to throw if she needs to cause a distraction. She moves a little farther, (half movement, 15ft), and then looks for a good place to hide, either within a patch of bushes, a fallen log or a hallowed out tree. Anything that may be better than just laying prone on the ground, which she will resort to as a last option.

Trying to shake the feeling of being a deer frozen in the light of a bullseye lantern, Fallan continues to remain hidden and stealthy, hoping that no movement or sound from her (and she wonders about the chances of a grumbly stomach) would give away her position to the searchers. She slowly turns her head to check to see if Root or Bell are visible and tries to push her thoughts to them if they are close enough. [tele] "stay still. give them nothing to clue them in as to where we are."
The drow continue down the path, jogging a bit, unafraid in the world of darkness, one of them reaching where the driftglobe was, picking it up and pocketing it inside a leather satchel. The others spread out, as they search the area for any signs of passage. And while some clues are there, the parties eventual 'stealth mode' made it somewhat harder to find, and Bells feet being a satyrs didn't help them either.
Bell couldn't find some log, though she did find a patch of bushes that was almost like a natural,m circular hedge. It wouldn't block sight if they managed to get right up to it but anything short of that would block vision, without risk of 'rustle.'
The dragonborn on the other hand, for one reason or another, gets his eye stabbed by a nearby branch that was just at his eye level, causing him to curse, or yelp a bit louder than was likely wise. It was simply fortunate that the drow were still such a distance away, that though they heard it, in the open night air it was hard to tell where it came from. If they were in tunnels, that would have been a different story.
Fallan manages, perhaps by sheer lack of size, to be the quietest of them all. Pushing out her thoughts only to those she intended. And her mind only grabs hold of Roots, telepathically conveying her message, and likely getting a string of mental 'shit, ouch, that hurts a lot' and other similar responses.
A few of the drow eventually end up wandering into the forest but none of them are able to find the trio, as by the time they get there, root manages to resettle himself into such a position as to seem to be a rock within the brush by fetus-positioning himself with only his back exposed at all. And fallan simply being too small to spot easily.
Eventually the drow give up after several long, tense minutes. Realizing they no longer had time to spare on the surface, and now that their attack had failed to produce results, they had to leave. The drow all heading back for the parties camp to see if there was anything worth 'salvaging' before leaving.
Rose remains still and hidden, too tired to move and more than a little scared of what would happen if they caught her now. As such she let's the drow take what they want from their camp until they are gone andnl even after they leave she sits and waits invisibly for a long time, still too afraid to move.

Bell lays still for a long time, doing her best not to count the seconds as they pass. Eventually, when all has been still for some time, she lifts herself into a crouch and slowly makes her way back towards the camp, remaining as stealthy as she can, and listening watching for signs of either the Drow attackers or her companions.

While not liking it, Fallan is used to hiding and knows she is pretty darn good at it, so she settles back, finding a comfortable position leaning against her pack and quiver, and settles in for a rest. She figures once the wiser members of her group decide the drow are truly gone, there will be enough noise to know when it is safe to come back out to the road.
Once certain the drow are no longer in the area and seeing Bell approach the camp Rose sighs in relief. She struggles to her feet and allows the invisibility to fade before approaching Bell and looking at the remains of the looted camp. Catching her breath and pulling bolts out of her body Rose collapses by the campfire from the night prior. Thank Selûne that's over. Are you all okay?
As the drow eventually disappear and you all come back, you see that most of the stuff that was left, including rations, were taken. The two horses had their throats slit, and their blood was pooling on the dirt. The carts axles had been kicked in, and all but the most 'useless' stuff had been taken. The campfire had been gutted, if only to spare their eyes while they did their work. You all come back to the camp left with little more than the gear on your body.
Use this time to make atleast a single 'RP' post about the events, before we move on. Unfortunately the campaign itself will have to wait, since .. this was supposed to be how you 'got into' the campaign, lol
Items have been removed from players sheets, but I have also listed what was taken. I only took things that the drow would both: Find valuable, and you logically couldn't have grabbed during the ambush, or wouldn't have automatically had on, or had time to without some serious prep time.
Coming back with a bit of blood under his left eye, Root sees the done. His beloved horse Dorothy killed “Nooo! Dorothy! Oh sweet horse Damn those F**king Drow! I swear if I see them again I’ll rip them in half!” He goes to check on the damage seeing the cart is unrepairable at the moment just grabs his fishing tackle and bed roll.
“I think the rest will have to wait...”

Rose doesn't quite sit up, content to lay on the ground and try not to think about how her entire body hurt. Typical Drow cruelty. Kill the horses just to spite us since they can't capture us. Still, we were lucky. Wasn't expecting to be victim to a drow raid on this trip.
"I didn't know you could speak their language," Bell observes, but just shrugs at that. "Do you know if they were after us specifically or if they've been targeting anybody who passes?"

Rose shurgs back. Drow led the the orc invasion that nearly destroy the Silver Marches, figured I would be smart to learn their language in case something like that ever happened again. Besides, there's lots of caves that lead to who knows where, so Drow raids happen from time to time. I believe we were just in the wrong place at the wrong time, they were probably looking to take us as slaves or sacrifices. Going home empty handed is probably a death sentence for them, but I'd rather not be some drow slave in the underdark. Rose shivers at the thought of it.
