Areus and Saya quickly move forward, taking advantage of the minotaur's youth and inattentiveness. They subdue him with little effort and a moment later the minotaur lies dead. You see he is younger than the others you fought before and so was easier to subdue than the battle hardened minotaurs you faced before.
You take a moment to stop and listen but it seems you have not drawn any attention from the camp.

When Tisto does this Tisto needs to make a deception roll
Callaphe remains hidden off to the side quietly crouched behind some rocks when the sound of movement comes from the path leading down to where the camp would be.
You hear the grumbling sounds of minotaurs talking as they move up the ridge and come towards you.
Areus and Saya understand the words
Yeah, something is wrong. I think the Bloodhorns may be back, that was not Crask who answered. Young fool, and where did this blasted fog come from?
Prodos, go tell Dakun something is wrong, Rhordon and I will check it out
You can't tell how many minotaurs are coming but it sounds like two as the thickness of the fog makes it impossible to see them but you can hear them coming. The area is heavily obscured and you are effectively blind. The minotaurs are not trying to mask the noise they make as they approach.
A heavily obscured area--such as darkness, opaque fog, or dense foliage--blocks vision entirely. A creature effectively suffers from the blinded condition when trying to see something in that area.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Areus whispers "They did not buy our deception, let's get out of the fog and try to deal with them as fast as we can." The hoplite walks back outside the fog and readies himself to attack the first minotaur that enter his range.
Ready action (Spear attack) as soon as I see the silhouette of a minotaur ready to exit the fog cloud
Spear Attack: 20 Damage: 9
(@DM I rolled with advantage considering that Areus should be outside the fog attacking a blinded target, if I got this wrong, please ignore the advantage)

Areus picks up his javelins and straps them on his shoulder harness. "Let's hide the guard and then carefully walks into the camp."

Despite Callaphe's quiet movements the others blunder into the fog and kick rocks and stumble along cursing under their breathe.
A harsh voice calls out from past the fog they had been trying to use as cover.
"Who approaches! Crask is that you?"
Only Saya and Areus understand the speaker as the challenge is spoken in the minotaur language.
"Forget her, she'll find us." Soren hisses at Saya."What are they saying? Have they seen us?"
