Saya readies her shield and lance, and stands between Areus and Soren.

"A Chimera, be prepared as I do not think that it will let us go in peace." says Areus adjusting his shield and spear and standing his ground.

Soren laughs, but it is devoid of mirth "I always miss the sea."

You can't be sure the Chimera has spotted you yet as it appears to not be paying attention at the moment.

Areus tries to walk as quietly as possible in his heavy armor.

As you carefully watch looking around the edge of a rise in the canyon you realize that the Chimera seems to be interested in something on the ground.  Carefully moving out a bit to get a better look you realize, as the monster moves around and gives you a better look, that there appears to be a minotaur lying on the ground.

You see the minotaur move and you can see that it is not dead, but it looks injured and the Chimera seems to be sizing it up for a meal.

"I will probably going to regret this, but I can not let someone helpless like that when I can do something about it. Even if he is a minotaur." As Areus finishes to speak, he takes two javelins from his back and starts running towards the Chimera.
As soon as consider to be close enough to attempt a throw, the hoplite invokes Iroas's name and tosses a javelin at the Chimera "Iroas! Grant me strength!". Not even checking if the first javelin hits his target, Areus immediately throws the second one.

Soren sighs "If you dont regret it, I sure will"

Soren rushes the beast as well (I am assuming initiative, so 7)

Saya will follow Soren. (Initiative: 19)

Since I’m assuming - perhaps incorrectly - that Tiago is still riding Saya I guess he’s going as well. He pulls out his pipes and starts idly playing a few trills.

Callaphe doesn't speak so much as react, drawing her bow and one of her arrows, aiming, and firing at the creature. She prepares for combat with the rest.
