Areus is taken back by the sudden revelation and almost lets go of his spear. "All Gods and Goddess rule above one or more important aspects of Theros. Without Erebos to keep the dead in this realm, the dead will flood Theros causing chaos and ruin!" 
The Arkoan takes another step further towards Eftalia "What Heliod is planning is maddness, Eftalia! Consider well what you are trying to do!" (Persuasion 17)

Soren's sword slips out of it's sheath, and he rests it on the ground. "Her devotion has blinded her to the madness of what she is prepared to do. I am getting the feeling that we are unable to talk ourselves out of this one. The black fragment comes with us, if either of you try to stop us....well, we will do what we must. Even if it means breaking an oath to a god."

There is a steely determination in Soren's gaze as he mentally prepares himself for a fight. 

Callaphe stays silent, though the hairs on the back of her neck are sticking up as she grips her bow tighter.

Saya doesn’t have a good feeling either, and she moves closer to her companions. If Calisto wants to fight Heliod’s champion, that would be her own prerogative. She readies her shield and battleaxe.

You each brace yourself as Areus makes his plea to Eftalia to see reason.  As Soren's sword leaves its sheath the point of the blade barely touches the ground when both Eftalia and Calisto suddenly lunge forward towards the black mask!

Areus, noticing both Calisto and Eftalia running towards the black mask, shakes his head in disappointment and attempts to dash towards Eftalia hoping to tackle her.
"Stop Calisto!" shuts to the rest of the group as he runs.

(@DM If I can reach Eftalia, I'll try grapple/tackle her)

Saya is too quick for Calisto and she quickly grabs onto the woman to prevent her from taking the black fragment.  Areus moves forward to block Eftalia

Areus also tries to stop Eftalia but the woman pushes her way past him and continues towards the mask!

Areus attempts to knock down Eftalia with his shield as she pushes past him.

Eftalia nearly reaches the mask when Areus knocks her down.

(Sorry, I posted but I think my internet was slow at the time and I closed the tab before it finished) 

Soren raises his sword and dashes past Saya towards Eftalia. As he does, watery armour encases him and his blade leaves a trail like a wave. He strikes at Eftalia as she is down, the wave striking a moment after his sword, blasting all in it's path backwards (Fury of the tides).

Attack: 13 Damage: 9 + 5 damage if she hits something solid.

Attack: 21 Damage: 14 + 5 damage if she hits something solid.

If either attack hits, she is pushed back 10 feet.

Soren then faces away from the mask, ready to shove anyone who goes for it away.

Seeing that Soren has taken care of Eftalia, Areus moves towards the statue and attempts to grab the black mask.
"We do not have to keep fighting Eftalia." The Arkoan puts his shield in front of him as he takes a defensive stance.

Action: Grabbing the mask and taking the Dodge
