Sorry for the delay, lets move us along, shall we?
Time to make the delivery.
As the Icebreaker is being repaired, you decide to leave Fireshear and head north to Hundlestone to make your delivery for Kalannai. You'll all have bit of a journey ahead of you. Fortunately, Hundelstone is just about 50 miles north along the Ten Trail.
However, something was amiss about ten miles away from Hundelstone, on a gray, overcast afternoon.
As a group, succeed on three DC13 Wis (Survival) checks, using help and guidance if you wish, to make sure you guys don't get lost.
Whether as a group if you pass or fail, everyone needs to succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or takes 7 cold damage from the ongoing snowfall.
Sobek pulls his bear furs tighter as he surveys the ground around him. (Sobek isn't used to working with a group of humans just yet)

‘Raawwwwrrrrr!’ he roars as one of his feet breaks through some thin ice into a huge puddle of cold water and slush, freezing up his foot and causing him to lose focus on where he is for a moment.

AT THE BAR
Kazimir watches in amusement as shrek dives in for the handshake that Sobek had redirected towards themselves. After the slime trail breaks off Sobek’s hand, an olive-skinned elf with countless twisting tattoos saunters forward, their shoulder length auburn hair dancing side to side from a stray breeze cutting through the doorway. They are still wearing a loose fitting low cut shirt that seems to hang from the elf’s physique, accompanied now by thick sheepskin trousers and a heavy fur cloak (uncertain animal).
”Pardon our powerful friend there. My name is Kazimir, I am the captain, but only on the ship, otherwise we work together as a team of skilled delivery people.” They offer a hand to shake as the screen swipes to The next scene.

the cold is whipping around Kazimir’s frame, but doesn’t seem to injure them as it might the others. Kaz is keeping their eyes on the trail beside Sobek, “Sobek, my friend! Is this normal weather for the area?!”
Shrek has a thrilling time out in the cold, literally skipping around as they make their way down the trail, over frozen rivers, across vast tundras, etc. The cold never bothered him anyway.

You don't suffer the penalties for being in high altitudes or cold climates.
Kai tried to keep his excitement in check at the new addition to the team, but he is sure to introduce himself when given the chance, giving a rigorous handshake to Sobek. “I’m Kai! Just the cook on the ship! Happy to have you on the team!”

Kai does his best to help out, not letting some cold get the best of him. He was made of literal fire! Though, if he sees someone struggling, he is sure to get near them to provide them some warmth from the chill of winter.

Dammit.
Vetis is in her usual cloak, but it's possible that her ashy skin is starting to turn blue. You really can't tell, and she certainly isn't saying anything.
I do not appreciate this. Aren't you supposed to be on my side?
Can't be playing favorites. Your traveling companions might get nervous.
I think I have frostbite. I'm supposed to give other people frostbite.
Your first impression of Sobek is likely to be that he's the quintessential ’man of the wild’. His clothes are all either cured leather or fur, with his winter clothes mostly of bear fur. His hair and beard are long, and threaded with tribal beads and feathers. He's quite young - late teens / early twenties, but he's clearly lived a hard life - his skin is weathered and he’s not as tall as a typical barbarian, and he has a lean, hard look to him. His eyes are a piercing grey that hold little guile, and little tolerance for the social games of so-called civilisation.
He carries hand axe and dagger mostly for utility, along with javelins for hunting. For battle though, he carries a huge club made from an ancient tree root, dried almost to the hardness of stone, but without the brittleness. You haven't yet seen him wield it, but it looks capable of truly devastating blows.
As he relaxes into your company - he's used to being in a team, just not a human one - you learn something of his background...
Sobek was raised amongst the Wolf Clan, on the western borders of the High Forest. He had a typical upbringing, learning to hunt, fish and fight as a young child. An upbringing that was cut short when, aged only 7, his clan was destroyed by an orc raid - he was the sole survivor, having wondered away from camp at the time to go fishing. Arriving back into camp later, he found all destroyed. A wolf pack, in the area, found him sat in the midst of the devastation, catatonic. One of the she-wolves had recently lost a cub, and took him in. As he grew he became part of the pack, learning to hunt with the wolves but only a year previously, after particularly heavy rains, he was separated from the pack and almost drowned, being carried far downriver, and being found - washed up on a sandbank - by a shamanic druid, Agathon, who nursed him back to health, refreshed his memory of human language, and gave him a spirit quest. “Go into the wilds of the north, search there for your spirit animal, and your fate...” He has since travelled, on foot, north, until reaching Fireshear, where a need to re-provision brought him into what passes for civilisation in those parts.
Lucas, using his familiarity of the artic tundra traits and tricks, keeps the group on track and prevents them from being lost. Still, he pulls his hood and scarf tight, reducing the amount of his skin that's exposed to the elements while he pushes the lead, guiding everyone as best as he can. "Just keep following me! Don't get separated!"
Con save: 14
Hearing cries to find shelter, he would pause momentarily to look about and try to find or spot any traces of potential shelter to take.
God damn, it's cold outside. This cold is definitely NOT normal. A snowstorm begins. Some of you can literally feel your bones cracking it's so cold. You hear noises.
You emerge from the snowstorm into a wooded glade. You can faintly see a rustic cottage within this glade—but you can most definitely hear the sounds of bestial roars and battle cries. You can just barely see a huge man with a massive great sword fending off a hulking, white-furred beast. Both of them appear heavily damaged.
Kazimir rushes forward, "Well, my friends. Duty calls, and that person seems to need some help!" Kaz will leap into the fray to aid the man with the greatsword.
