Mirica was not an "esteemed wizard" but answered nevertheless (telepathically, of course, but firmly) "No drow - or whoever he is - in our house! Nor any other "dragon helper"! We do our part, she waits patiently for the results. The nerve! She could as well just ask to hand her over the Mythallar and the book!"
She looked at the new dragon - what did she tell? Multiplying! Then second daughter brings her mate and mother would decide she need a son again. And the region here will be crawling with wirmlings in withing few years living nothing ... well, living around.
Toc whispers into Fianna's mind, "We have underlings? Neat."
To Nuzej, Toc responds with gravity, but a bit of humor, "To my esteemed fellow wizard bravely confronting the wyrm...no, i have no further questions. Thanks for stepping forward."
Chen and Fianna find themselves back at the room with the fresco...but placing their hand on the ground and speaking the words does not work to send them back.
Verdant Cloud shrugs in response. Lucien stands, a bit confused, but seems to decide that the group doesn't want him, and simply stands there, waiting for them to depart.

"The dragons, Toc. It was a parting insult, implying that... Oh, never mind. The scaley ones got it," Fianna mentally replies.
((Taking back my agency for a moment...)) Fianna, upon returning to the entrance area, waits for her companions. She does not try to leave them alone in a dragons lair without her. A dramatic exit from the room is one thing, abandoning them is something else entirely. If Chen does try to leave she'll "tsk tsk" him but study the fresco a bit to try to determine what the code this side (if there is one) is....
(OOC: Likewise, Chen wouldn't have attempted to depart the cave alone and leave the others inside. It will be someone else that discovers that the password doesn't work. More likely that Chen spends the next few minutes walking around the cave smashing rocks.)

Fianna and Chen move back over to the entrance cave. Chen stomps around the area, smashing a few rocks, while Fianna waits quietly. Mirica joins both of them as well....waiting. Toc waits where he can see both Russel and Nuzej, "Seems like we're leaving. You two coming?"

(Nuzej may do some more stuff, but to move things along for the rest of the group....I'm going to proceed a bit...)
The group finds themselves back in the entrance cave. The stone walls have carvings of leaves and vines across them, but real brambles also crawl along the walls and across the ceiling, full of spiky thorns. The cave is about 70 feet across and roughly round. There are some fine examples of elven furniture here, including several couches, two wardrobes, and several small tables....making this room feel like a sitting room. The fresco on the floor here is of an elven city. Two dead drow lay sprawled to one side where you've left them. Toc and Nuzej are the last to enter the room. Behind you all, you see, crouched near the corners of the north maze, a few drow, watching from a distance while staying mostly hidden behind rock corners. A goat stands nearby. It seems to be chewing on the arm-rest of a couch, slowly pulling at the velvet fabric with its teeth. Toc walks over to the fresco and places his hand on it, repeating the words. Nothing happens. He glances down at it. "Well....crap. Any ideas?"
(Totally fine! Misread a post and I was honestly just allowing the rest of the party to have any other chances to ask the dragon questions.)
Once Nuzej realizes we don't have a way out, he suggests telepathically that they may as well ask the dragon for the exit password. Seeing as they're working together, now.
"Did not you and Toc were ready to teleport us from here just a moment ago? It's not like we need to stay longer."Mirica honestly did not understand what's the problem here. "Though, of course, if Verdant Cloud is still willing to demonstrate her friendship a password is expected. Would you risk to ask it, Nuzej? You seemed to be most patient with the beast and she prefers you too."
Toc mutters to the whole group over their telepathic bond, "A very reasonably idea, and one free of any emotional bias, which I respect greatly. That said, I'd rather eat my own shoe. I'll teleport us out of here before asking her. In fact, if everyone is ready to go I suggest I just teleport us where we wish to be. Any preferences? Or if we just need a private space, maybe Fianna can make a demi-plane for us to sit on."
(FYI, Chen's bear, unable to use the portal here, remains in Myth Drannor awaiting the return of his valiant dragonborn master. The goat is here, obviously.)
"Allow me," Fianna says and begins to make an exaggerated hand motion in order to cast... But then brings both hands to cup around her mouth and shouts instead. "Hey! Verdant One! You going to tell us the way out or we going to be roommates from now on?"
Immediately after the shouting Fianna looks at the others in the group and shrugs. "Trust me, she does NOT want us hanging out here all day..."
(OOC: Yes, I expected that. The goat can remain here as a top-secret spy goat. Clearly it is invincible, as it is the first beast from the bag to survive a combat. It will go down in history as "The Goat Who Lived")
Chen returns to the fresco room, a small storm-cloud over his head (but not literally). Hopefully someone decides soon how to exit this place, because Chen now vents his frustration on the furniture - the wardrobe is first)

Mirica did not even have time to properly conduct to Toc the expression "what do you mean by emotional bias", when Fianna demonstrated another master-class of a step-dance on dragon's patience (hopefully, the big reptile was used to it by now). No, seriously, between the dragon-poking fey and a dragonborn, methodically destroying the furniture around, Mirica here was the personification of calm and objectivity. She just calmly hoped all the teleportation spells are ready on the shortest moment notice.
Russel suggests Hillsfar. He has business to attend to and if he’s going to be working with this ... cast of characters he’s found. He needs to grab some stuff from the warehouse. Should the group not object to Hillsfar, Russel gives a description of the area just outside his warehouse. Though should the group not wish to go there he keeps this information to himself.
The dragons deep voice ripples through the cave, a laughter in her tone, "I think you are starting to amuse me ...Fey thing. 'Tul- nin bar' ".
Toc shrugs, then translating the elven with a smirk, "Take me home."
He places his hand on the mural and says the elven words, vanishing a moment later. Others that follow find themselves, standing about on the same fresco, under the grey skies. Rain splotches down amidst the rocks and trees of this part of the ruins.
When others arrive, Toc looks about with an impressed face, "Well....that went...differently than I expected."

"It did," echoed Mirica. She was enjoying the open view now, breathing in fresh air without thick dragon stench in it. Even ruins and rain looked and felt pleasant in comparison. As peaceful as the visit was, it did feel as if the group managed to avoid a certain death, giving the sense of relief and appreciation of being alive. "Not the worst outcome, considering. Shall we return to the Mythallar house?"("Lair" just did not sound right) "There is a lot to think about here and on the way to Hillsfar too, if you need to return now, Russel. Someone might want to tell people there the danger of the dragon wroth is over for a time being".

Russel of course follows silently. Not having seen anything grabbing worth risking the ire of the dragon.
