Smoke looks down again. I would like to go down, and i think we all have to go down somewhat. Our ropes wont reach the bottom or even halfway.(cliffs are up to 150 ft stated in #1017 )
He prepares his clothes to cover a himself and look like one of the raiders again in case he would get spotted inside the camp. He will use the disguise kit if needed to brush up his looks.
With the moon peering into the night sky, Smoke takes around a half hour to craft his convincing disguise. Meanwhile, below you in the camp, shouts ring out as a procession of men and women on horseback sally into the hollow, toting elk, deer, boar, and smaller game behind their mounts. Some carcasses are tossed lazily toward the kobolds as they continue forward up the slope into the human side of the encampment, where the rest of the day's hunt is divvied out amongst multiple groups. The carcasses are carried toward a number of areas throughout the camp, and people gather in dozens as cookfires are lit to prepare for an evening meal.
The fires, torches, and lanterns throughout the hollow provide lighting for human eyes, casting shadows across the area.
Smoke puts his hand on his chin thinking for a moment, Perhaps we should go now while they are busy feasting. The sounds will cover ours.
He looks down again just before he will start moving down the cliff. Once the feasting stops we should stay out of sight to avoid getting seen by people wandering to their beds. Thia will stay up here to keep watch and help prisoners up the last part. The rest of us will go down. Rogram you need to be the one to go into the tents to keep them quiet, they might know or trust you more than us.
After that Smoke will climb down to somewhere halfway trying to remain unseen. Once halfway he will check to see if he can spot any guards around the area below them.
"Before we go," Rogram says, holding up a finger, "give me 10 minutes. I want to prepare something that might be useful." The dwarf sits down and begins muttering to himself. He removes from a pouch a bit of string and bit of wood and performs an incantation that feels like takes forever to those who are waiting. Finally, he stops muttering, smiles a small smile, and puts away the string and wood. He gets to his feet. "OK, I'm ready."
As Rogram concludes his ritual casting, Smoke begins to work his way down the plateau slope. He finds it as simple to navigate as it looked. There are a few areas where he has to slow down and take his time to find the next handhold, but he is able to quietly descend to one of the small cave openings halfway to the floor of the hollow.
The cave is quite shallow, and empty. Looking further below, Smoke sees no sign of any guards outside of the prisoners' tents below him. The area, as well as the open area where the individual is tied to a stake, is well-shadowed with none of the cookfires located here.
Smoke looks up to check if the others are moving down already, if not he will wave for them to come.
Once they arrive he will speak to them with a hushed voice. This should be a good place to use as a stop. It gives a good view of the camp and a hiding spot so perhaps Thia can keep watch here and help guide the prisoners up.
He looks down again. Alright lets try to get one tent at a time, Rogram you will need to go into the tent so they are not scared of Yevele or myself. He looks to Yevele We should make sure no guards are coming and see if that one at the stake still lives. Noone should suffer like that.
Smoke takes a deep breath and nods to see if the others agree before moving down silently, using his claws to slow his descent if needed.
Yevele will wait up at the top, watching the fires to make sure that no one is noticing the tabaxi climbing down the cliff. Once Smoke waves, she will begin climbing down the cliff to join him in the cave. She will again wait in the cave until Smoke is safely on the ground before heading down that way herself. Yevele will leave her rope with Thia in the cave, so that it might be used to haul the prisoners up out of the camp.
Once on the ground, she will nod in agreement with Smoke about Rogram entering the tents. The monk will keep an eye out for guards before she begins to stealthily move toward the individual staked out on the ground.

Smoke Stealth: 11 Yevele Stealth: 20
Smoke and Yevele each fully descend the cliffs, wending their way to the floor of the upper level of the camp with nary a rock scattered. Smoke remains just outside of the tents where the prisoners were taken, while Yevele moves toward the person tied at the stake in the middle of the area.
It seems that none of the raiders have their eye toward this heavily shadowed area, and Yevele approaches the man, a half-elf. He has been severely beaten, and seems to be hovering at unconsciousness. His cut and bruised face, and parched lips, are not severe enough to hide his identity from one familiar, however, and his robes, tinged with blue dye, are unmistakable to the woman approaching him. Yevele stands before Leosin Erlanthar.
Rogram gives his rope to Thia as well when he sees Yevele doing that. He then climbs down, instructing his unseen servant to remain close to him. Once Smoke and Yevele are ready, Rogram will enter the tent of the prisons as stealthily as he can.
When Yevele recognizes the monk, she gasps quietly before bending down and whispering "Leosin, Its me, Yevele. I'm here with some friends. We're trying to get you and the other prisoners out of here." As she is talking, the young woman also begins to work on untying the other monk from his bonds. She will look up from time to time to make sure that no one is approaching this area.
Smoke will stand guard outside to watch for anyone that would be walking towards the tents. Assuming Rogram wont be long he will try to listen to whats going on inside for any panic responses.
Meanwhile he will keep an eye on where Yevele is if Smoke can still see her from the tents. Anxious about their plan he knows they cant turn just let the prisoners suffer, specially not for the dragon queen.

Rogram Stealth (Disadvantage-Scale Mail): 9
Rogram slips into the prisoners' tent, his armor audible but not distracting to any of the clusters of raiders cavorting at their cookfires. Their conversation and laughter seems to drown out most ordinary noises. Inside the tent, eight prisoners sit uncomfortably, shackled to the large center post of the makeshift hut. Most of them being human, they pay little attention to the entrant in the darkness, but the pair of dwarves almost immediately shift. Both wear shocked looks, but the face of Rogram's uncle slowly shifts into a mask of anger as he works himself up. "Little Rog? What in the hells are ye doin' 'ere? Wait just a minute, tell me ye ain't with 'em, boy, or I'll take off yer ankles. I don't need me damned pickaxe to do it, I'll gnaw yer damned ankles off with me teeth, ye big bastard!" his harsh whispers gradually increase in volume as his wife next to him shifts her gaze back and forth between the two.
Leosin snaps his head up when Yevele speaks, suddenly alert but grimacing at the pain the movement clearly causes. "Yevele? New Moon Yevele?" he rasps, widening his swollen eyes in a struggle to see the monk standing before him. "No! No!" he whispers loudly when she begins to work at his restraints. "Stop that! I have yet more to learn," he says.
For Smoke:
The outline of Yevele can barely be seen in the darkness of that section of camp. You can faintly hear the harsh sounds being spoken from the prisoners' tent, but it sounds more conversational than panicked or angry.

"What?! Wait, you think getting beaten up more will get you more information? How?" Yevele whispers. In her confusion at Leosin statement's, the redhead stops untying the rope as she stares at the other monk like he is mad. "What have you learned already? Maybe it is enough to get an army out here to deal with this crowd."
The finger Rogram had raised to his lips to quiet his kin slowly lowers as his eyes widen in response to his uncle's assumption and rebuke. The half-dwarf finally balls his hands into fists, and he scowls deeply. "With 'em?!" he asks, his accent shifting slightly to more closely match his uncle's. But he has the presence of mind to restrain his volume. "By Moradin's hangin' hammer, Uncle! How could you dishonor me? I've been tracking you from Greenest, an' I'm here to set you free, you old fool!" Still scowling, Rogram looks at Daniel. "Hello, Auntie." He leans down and busses her cheek. Looking back at Dorgol, he hisses, "Where's Pa?" Not waiting to hear the answer, Rogram starts looking around the tent for anything he can use to unlock the shackles quietly.
DM, if there is a campfire within 60 feet of the tent Rogram entered, he would have sent his unseen servant there to wait for instructions.
OOC: The nearest cookfires are a bit further away than that, around 100-150 feet away from the prisoners' tent.
"Well a'right, tha's fair then," Dorgol says, immediately shifting tone. Daniel returns Rogram's gesture, answering before her spouse, "They took yer da'. Don' know where, but they found out he was a smith right quick and hustled 'im out o' here."
"Don't think 'e's in on it, do we?" Dorgol grumbles back. "Gnaw 'is damned ankles off too if 'e's in on it. Well ye ain't for gettin' us out o' 'ere without a real big hammer," he says, jangling the chains with his leg.

Leosin mumbles back at Yevele as he flits in and out of consciousness, his energy wavering, "I need...time, more...answers..."
Despite his determination to keep busy, Rogram can't help but pause at the confirmation that his father is still alive. His back to the others, his eyes stare unseeing at the tent wall for a couple of heartbeats before he looks back at the prisoners. He hurries to the shackles to investigate them himself. How do they work? How are they attached to the prisoners, and how are they attached to the post? Also, is the post buried, or could it be lifted or knocked over and the shackles "slipped off"?
Smoke will try to find a place nearby to sit behind as extra cover while the others are working to get the prisoners out.
While keeping watch towards the raiders to see if anyone is coming every so often Smoke will take a look towards Thia to see if she might be signalling something.

"I am happy to stay up top and hold the ropes, though I am in no way strong," says Thia curling a loose strand of blonde hair behind an upswept ear.

"Their eyes will grow heavy once their bellies are full," Rogram says. "We need to decide what we are doing quickly."
"Do we go down now under cover of the festivities, or wait until a few hours when they are all likely sleepy?" Thia queries the team.
