Seeing Leosin passing in and out of consciousness, Yevele will set to work untying the monk, looking around from time to time to make sure that no one is approaching her. Once she gets him untied, Yevele will see if she can pick older man up and carry him over to where Smoke is waiting. How they are going to get Leosin up the cliff, Yevele is not sure, but, given the shape he is in, the young woman knows she can't leave him there.
As Yevele approaches Smoke while carrying prisoner Smoke looks towards the cliff as well thinking about how to get him up there.
He looks at what has on him and takes out his net whispering to Yevele. We can use this as a hammock and have 2 people carry this person up. Perhaps we can even attach it to the rope Thia is holding to share the weight between 3 people.
We could do it. Smoke starts taking out his net and placing it on the ground to get Leosin on it to carry him easier. Im not sure how Rogram is doing, we should check before we go up.
Despite his verbal objections, Leosin seems not to have the strength required to resist being taken away from the stake. Yevele unties him, the monk remaining near unconsciousness as she carries him over toward Smoke.
Inside the prisoner's tent, Rogram examines the shackles. All of the restraints seem to be secured by a central chain with a single lock, and by the looks of it the central post of the hut has been buried in the location for a while. The ground around it is packed and hardened, and the post seems very securely planted.
"We've tried," Daniel says, seeing her nephew's gaze. "They don't keep the pickaxes near, and pullin' on 'em's no use."
Rogram crosses to the tent entrance and looks out to find Smoke. If the tabaxi isn't looking his direction, he'll have his unseen servant tap on him in whichever way will draw his attention toward the tent. Once Smoke is looking, Rogram waves him to the tent.
"Do you have anything that might unlock or destroy the lock?" Rogram asks once they're both inside the tent. "I could try with my sword, but it will be loud, and it might not work. Even if it does, it might ruin the blade."
When Smoke gets tapped on the shoulder he looks to see Rogram waving. Smoke then turns to Yevele. Theres Rogram, ill be right back to help. Maybe you can tie the rope to the net to prepare the lift up.
Smoke will sneak towards Rogram. He responds shocked A lock, you think im a.. he sucks it up for a moment to not waste time in this dangerous place. I dont have special tools for it. Perhaps i can use my dagger or rapier to pry the lock. He looks around in his bags. I have a bottle of oil in case their restraints arent very tight. It might be enough to wiggle free.
He will move into the tent following Rogram and still covered by his disguise to hide his Tabaxi looks. Smoke will try to see if the shackles are on tight, if not he will try the oil to help set them free. He will also try if the tip of his rapier would be small enough to work as a lockpick as his last resort.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Once Yevele has Leosin over at the base of the cliff, she will set the monk down and pull out her medicine kit. Yevele will do what she able to help stabilize the monk. medicine18 .
Yevele will motion to Thia to see if she can lower the rope down (it might take both ropes tied together to reach down to that level). If Thia does lower the rope, Yevele will wrap Leosin up in the net, and then try to wrap the rope around the monk, both to hold him in and to aid in lifting him up to the cave. While preparing the Leosin for transport, Yevele will continue to keep an eye out for anyone come over to this part of the camp.
Thia, having made her way down to the small cave, continues to keep an eye out across the camp. Seeing Yevele at the foot of the cliff she will lower the rope down to the monk and watch to see what she can do next to help.
Thia lowers the rope from the cave entrance down to Yevele as she stabilizes her fellow monk. His injuries look severe, but Leosin does not yet seem on the brink of death. He is quite clearly out of it; the brief moments he is conscious are filled with mumbled rambling.
Meanwhile, examining the prisoners' restraints, Smoke finds them to be quite secure. The raiders were apparently not taking chances with their workers, and the shackles that hold them have all been fitted very tightly. The lock is too complicated to work with anything as simple as a weapon and there is no hope of anybody squeezing out of the shackles while they are still intact.
Yevele will do her best to tie Leosin into the net in a fashion that will help them get the monk up to the cave where Thia is sitting. As she is doing this the young monk will repeatedly look over at the tent, wondering what is taking Smoke and Rogram so long. 'It can't be that hard to get them out of the tent. From what I saw none of those prisoners was as badly wounded as Leosin' Yevele thought to herself.
When Smoke indicates that he cannot find any way to free the prisoners, Rogram turns his his aunt and uncle. "Describe all who you know have a key to your bindings."
DM, while we were watching, did we see any smoke that could have been a forge?
Leosin feebly struggles to fight off Yevele as she cradles him into the net, but quickly lapses unconscious again.
In the tent, Dorgol shrugs, "One o' the weird ones with the masks on has a key, unlocks it in the mornin'. Don't know which, they all look the same to me with their dumb masks. Ain't much for conversation, either."
Rogram turns to Smoke. "I'm going to disguise myself and walk around the camp. My father is somewhere else. Maybe in another tent. If I'm lucky, I'll find a key or something else that might work to break these chains." He turns back to the prisoners. "Do these barbarians say anything to each other in greeting? Is there anything else that I should know that might help me blend in and look like I belong here?"
"Eh, a lot o' chatter about 'praise Teemet's glory' but they ain't much for chatter, like I said. We barely been 'ere long 'nough to learn more," Dorgol says. Daniel offers, "They do some sort o' reach with their arms, stretch 'em out to each other when they switch off, but I ain't got a good look at it." The other prisoners remain huddled in the darkness, but by this point Rogram can place most of them to Greenest or the surrounding area.
Thia draws the injured monk up and away from Yevele, bringing him to the middle level. Examining the prisoners closely, Smoke sees them each chained together by their legs before the chains meet the central lock at the tent pole.
Rogram gives his uncle a nod, makes a point to give a second nod in the direction of the others, then speaks a short arcane phrase and gestures. For the most part, he looks the same at the conjuring of the illusion spell, but he is dirtier, his clothes have been altered enough to look more similar to what he's seen the bandits wearing, and he's wearing one of the masks he's seen them wearing. He looks at Smoke. "I'm hoping this won't take long. Just in case I have to change disguises, I will cough, clear my throat, and cough again to identify myself. Where will you be?" Once Smoke relays his information, Rogram will take a deep breath and head out of the tent to try to find two things: Something to open or break the bonds and his father. He will try to avoid meeting anyone else, but will not chance being seen sneaking around, so if there's a chance he will be seen, he will try to blend in and act nonchalant. If he encounters anyone, he'll be waiting to reply with "Praise Teemet's glory" or to return the hand gesture his uncle mentioned.
Smoke does not respond to the dwarf saying 'Teemet' instead of Tiamat' knowing the name of the dragon queen very well. He figures it just the dwarvem accent. I will go to Yevele first to inform her. After that i might go to find a key myself. he pauzes a moment then moves out of the tent towards Yevele
When he reaches her he will see the prisoner is moved up with the rope. Well done. I have bad news, the prisoners are chained to the tent post. We might make to much sound if we smash the locks so Rogram is going to try and find a key. Im not sure what to do.
He looks around at this troublesome situation I have to go after him, its not safe to stay very long.
Thia checks back up the cliff face. Does she think she can help/carry/drag the semi-conscious Leosin up to the top?
If not she will hunker down where she is, but will load her crossbow and, lying down, will cover the area below her, watching her friends move around as best she can.
Thia gauges the distance from her current position at the small cave to the top of the cliffs to be around 100 feet. The length of rope attached to the net with Leosin is too small to make the distance. The climb would still be possible but would obviously be more difficult with Leosin being carried.
While Smoke informs Yevele of the situation, Rogram steps out of the prisoner's tent, looking very much like one of the masked men that was watching the prisoners throughout the day.
OOC: There are any number of places Rogram could go from here. I'd like a better idea of what kind of situation he is looking for so I don't just railroad him into an unexpected situation. It has only been a few minutes since he entered the prisoners' tent, so there are still dozens of raiders in the northern section of the upper level of camp that are seated around fires, preparing their meals. The kobolds are doing similar activities on the lower level, and there has been no visible change to the heavily guarded large tent in the center of the upper level or the large cave opening on the eastern end.
Thinking that keys are probably on the guards who have them, Rogram will walk through the camp with purpose, but keeping his eye out for anyone with a visible set of keys or a key on a thong around the neck or something. In the interim, he will be on the lookout for any place that looks like where they would take a blacksmith. If none of the tents look promising, he'll move closer to the large cave to see if that's promising.

Very well Smoke says as hes a bit disheartened he was not able to free the prisoners himself.
I will tell Yevele. Smoke will look at the prisoners again checking to see how they are bound. Is it arms and legs, are they chained together?
Before he turns to move to Yevele he looks back Be carefull.
