Karib watches the young dwarf with compassion, then shakes his head. "Getting yourself killed won't free Mathon, lad. We'd need a plan. And we'd need to find them."
"But take heart...they needed him for something. If they didn't ... and if he didn't escape ... then don't you think he would have been tied up in the cave with me?"
He stands up and busies himself, checking of his gear, tightening straps, ordering his pack, checking his tools while he waits for his words to sink in and for the dwarf to calm down.
"I'm sorry though...I don't know more. After the prisoners all escaped, the half-dragons were rattled and told us we'd break camp in the morning. They didn't say where we would be going, though. That's the night I ended up here."
Seeing the captive awake, Yevele will grab him by the hair (assuming he has enough hair to do so) and pull him roughly toward the ramp down to the next level.
Entering the cavern where the rest of the group is, Yevele will say "Maybe this individual can help us with finding the new camp." With that, she gives the prisoner a pull forward.
Your attempt at dragging the man fully rouses him from his seemingly foggy mental state. You are able to drag him a few feet before he starts writhing in his bonds, too heavy and too frantic to effectively maneuver him across the cavern. He starts to shout.
"Get your hands off me, you wretch! Mondath! Mondath, help me!"
OOC: Yevele has not quite returned to the rest of the party yet.
Smoke nods to Rogram as he wants to move forward. Making sure he collects his things and checks to see if his companions are ready.
Taking a moment to make sure Rogram is calm and collected before rushing ahead. Our new friend here is right. We already found out they needed him for something. Otherwise he would of been kept with the other prisoners.
Smoke would check to see if Yevele is with them. In case he doesnt hear the prisoner shouting he will only move forward a bit to check if he sees any fires up ahead or hears movement (assuming Yevele would be alright and back in a moment). He would not go forward to far without everyone together.
Rogram scowls, but more in concentration than anger. The wrist of his sword hand moves ever so slightly as he considers what Karib and Smoke are saying, causing the tip of his sword to do small figure eights near his ankle. The half-dwarf finally sighs and nods. "Alright," he says, sounding only 50% agreeable. "But have we seen everything we need to in here? Are we ready to leave?" He looks around. "Where'd Yevele get to?"

When the cultist starts to shout, Yevele shakes her head in disappointment, and then turns and punches the man. She is attempting to knock him out again rather than kill him:
Attack: 11 Damage: 5
If she succeeds in knocking him out, the monk will pick him up and carry him to the rest of the group: Strength check: 6

For Yevele:
Punch vs. Cultist (Advantage-Restrained): Higher of 11 or 19 OOC: Of course lol. I'm going to assume you're using a bonus action attack as well. Punch vs. Cultist (Advantage-Restrained): 18
The captive proves a nuisance athletically even in his current state. He thrashes in your grip, rolling away from your oncoming punch. The rope is too much for him to overcome, however. He manages one more shout of, "Mondath!" before your fist rocks his temple, knocking him out cold once more.
After a few minutes of discussion, Yevele returns with an unconscious human man in leather armor draped over her shoulder.
OOC: Here is another view of all of the areas explored so far within the "hatchery". The red square marks the current location of the party, as usual. I've also added some labels to help differentiate the main features of the different rooms.
"Let's put him down in the meat locker." Yevele says as she returns, "Then we can go check out the passageway where they were taking our friend here. Maybe there are other prisoners down there." the young woman adds. "But, we should probably get out of here before the army returns."
Smoke nods to Yevele Yes we might not have a lot of time before their army returns.
Still standing a bit towards the northern unexplored cave he watches while waiting. It reminds me of the adventuring party that received the name The Everlasting . Speaking with a calm voice and making sure he doesnt speak to loudly he simply continues his story while watching the path ahead. They dared to enter the lair of Cracamas an old white dragon from the north. He looks back to the others
They were looking for his diamond hoard.Shaking his head to risk so much for diamonds is beyond me. Anyway they made their way to the frozen cave untill they ran up to a giant wall of ice. His voice now almost a whisper They carefully chipped again at the ice and used their torches to melt it but it took them a long time in such a cold place. But old Cracamas did not live to his age by being a fool. He awoke from his slumber and broke through a chimney of ice. His way out..
Smoke looks back to look for Yevele to see if she returned already. Then continues his tale. As they heard the noise the party did not flee, instead they continued to try and get through the wall, assuming they were still safe. Little did they know Cracamas flew around to to same cave entrance the party had gone in, trapping them between the wall of ice and an angry dragon.
Hundreds of years later, Cracamas relocated as other dragons made homes to close for his liking. When exploring the caves they ran into the party. Frozen solid into ice statues from the dragons cold breath. It was then that the party got the name The Everlasting. Their bodies perfectly preserved in their final moments of terror.
He looks back once more. Let us hope we are done here before the army returns.
Karib frowns, "If I recall their plans correctly, they will not be back for some time." He rubs absently at a bruise on the back of his head, and smiles, "Though it's still possible my mind is addled."
He turns to the young ... dwarf, "Is there some special skill or knowledge that your father possesses that makes him so valuable to them?"
A short wide, passage leads ahead where Rogram peers. Past that, flickering oil lamps reveal a ledge that drops off sharply in the northern part of the room. The upper part of the room continues ahead.
OOC: Who is taking the captive to the meat locker? Saw some speculation but no confirmation.
Rogram takes his eyes off Smoke — where they were always transfixed during any of the tabaxi's tales — to look at the human. His face shifts from open back to closed. But then he looks away, clearly contemplating the question. Finally, he shakes his head and looks again at Karib. "He was a blacksmith. He fixed tools and made horseshoes. He is very good, but I can't think of anything he can do that any other blacksmith can't."
I understood that Yevele was taking the prisoner, and Karib is ready to assist.
With assistance from Karib, Yevele takes the prisoner down to the meat locker. Once she has deposited the prisoner in the room, she sets her backpack down and begins going through it to find bandages to place on her still bleeding wounds.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Karib checks the bonds on the prisoner, then a brief flash of anger on his face, he unceremoniously knocking them out again if they are still conscious.
Then his eyebrows shoot up as he looks down at the monk, "What was I thinking of? Here...let me do what I can."
"Gond give me strength to fix your fragile creation." He runs his hands over the worst the wounds, and as he does so they begin to close, but not completely.
He looks over his handiwork and nods, "Not bad work you did, but hold this this end while I finish up" he says as he does what he can to finish the bandaging.
As her wounds begin to heal up, Yevele nods and quietly whispers "Thank you" before assisting in the bandaging of her wound. Once that is finished, Yevele will get up and head back to the Smoke and Rogram, asking when she gets there "So, ready to move on."
