Smoke strikes accurately again, continuing to wear his opponent down. The man wears a pattern of cuts now, bleeding all across his chest. As he stumbles, woozy, Rogram sends him sprawling unconscious with a blow to the temple.
His companion screams in rage, the beast of a man taking an arrow to the thigh from Yevele and a grazing blow from Karib's mace that dresses him in a mask of crimson. He takes a vicious swing at the cleric, but his wounds taxing him, the axe swings far too slowly to connect.

Rogram is badly wounded. Yevele is wounded. Smoke is lightly wounded.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Seeing the other human collapse to the ground, Karib's eyes narrow as he focuses on the man in front of him. Harnessing his outrage, both at his recent treatment and at the willful disregard of life in Greenest, he strikes again at his foe with his staff.
Sweat and blood dripping and threatening to cloud his vision, Rogram uses his rope to bind the unconscious man at his feet, letting the others finish the final raider.
Seeing Rogram tie up the fallen human Smoke turns his attention to the other one, standing next to Karib.
To keep himself safe he stays at a distance but calls out to the human Your size will not save you from demise. The drakes will be fed for a while
He moves his rapier in its sheath to free his hands
Movement: None Action: Vicious Mockery vs remaining human WIS save DC 14 or take 2 psychic damage and have disadvantage on the next attack roll it makes before the end of its next turn.
OOC: Sorry, I keep saying "mace" for Karib's staff because cleric.
Karib's staff whips across the man's face. With a crack, the cavern falls silent, his jawbone split by the magical energy in the weapon. Rogram wraps his rope around the unconscious human.
Area Description:
Stalactites and stalagmites that have been polished into gleaming columns. Every surface glistens with moisture. The flat walls of the chamber are decorated with shallow abstract carvings of dragons. Ahead, a wide set of steps descends into a large cavern shrouded in darkness, and to the right past where Cyanwrath had been standing is another tunnel winding around a corner.
OOC: Each character has received 500 XP for defeating Cyanwrath and his cronies.
Removed Rogram's rope from his inventory while it is binding the human.
Rogram gets back to his feet, a little groan escaping his lips. He walks over, kneels down so a knee is planted between the half-dragon's shoulder blades, and checks to see if Cyanwrath is still alive.
(( ooc: no problem; easy to forget such things! ))
Karib wipes a line of sweat from his face as the pulsing veins at his temples slowly begin to subside. He takes a deep breath and looks around the room, then utters a prayer of thanks to Gond. His eyes narrow as they come to rest on Cyanwrath, then he looks at each of his companions, "Because of you -- because of us -- the world is a better place now than it was this morning," he says, nodding at the half dragon.
Karib watches as Rogram -- the angry, impulsive dwarf -- moves up to aid the fallen enemy. He moves slowly and somewhat reluctantly, but his training comes to the fore as he crouches down next to him, "Turn him over, lad, let's see what's what."
Medicine: 20 (rolled with advantage if Rogram is helping after Karib tries to take over) -- trying to assess and stabilize, but not waken.
As the last of them falls Smoke places his hands on his knees still holding his rapier. Seeing what Rogram and Karib are doing he speaks up
What are you doing? Your not helping him are you, you just heard him. He will gladly fight to the death he wont tell us anything and maybe try to zap us with lightning again!
With his companions set on keeping their attackers alive Smoke hurries to pat them down and takes anything that could be a weapon or something valueable like keys or paper.
Karib sighs, staring down at the unconscious half-dragon. "A decision made in anger is no decision at all. We may yet end his life, but ... perhaps the folk of greenest would welcome the opportunity for that choice and -- perhaps -- some small justice."
He starts tearing cloth from the clothes of the fallen humans, using it to stuff the half-dragon's mouth and gag him in case he wakes early. He also helps tying him up. "I see little value in honour in the heat of battle, but the treatment of prisoners -- when the battle is over -- is a different matter."
"Besides, we may yet be able to question him and find out where they were going -- and where they were taking the lad's father."
Yevele will see if she can retrieve any of the arrows that she shot, nodding in agreement with Smoke's statement, before adding. "If the guy we have bound up in the meat locker won't say anything, what makes you think the half-dragon will answer our questions?"

The blue half-dragon Cyanwrath clings to life, his breaths coming in ragged bursts for a time before Karib attends to his significant wounds. After some care, his breathing stabilizes but he remains unconscious. The same cannot be said for his human companions who lay still in death around him.

OOC: Glad to see the forum is still bugged out. Starting to doubt that will ever be fixed.
Yevele will see if she can retrieve any of the arrows that she shot, nodding in agreement with Smoke's statement, before adding. "If the guy we have bound up in the meat locker won't say anything, what makes you think the half-dragon will answer our questions?"
When he finishes stabilizing the half-dragon Karib looks up, a resigned expression on his face. "Given time, I may be able to loosen his tongue, at least a little." He makes one last check on the prisoner then stands. "I've seen it done before, but usually more than just one priest is involved. A quick death is more than he deserves, but if that is your choice I won't stand in your way."
"As to the other prisoner -- I don't know who you mean -- but which of them do you think is likely to know more?"
OOC: One of the humans is unconscious and tied up as well.
Rogram grunts as he gets to his feet again. He is still breathing heavily, and his arms hang limply at his sides with his heavy shield and sword dangling. His eyes flash at Smoke briefly, looking hard and almost angry, but before he looks at Yevele. "We will get them to talk. We must."
OOC2: There are two other ways we can leave this chamber besides the way we entered, right?
Karib nods to Rogram, "We both want him back, lad. If we take a little time we should be able to get something out of them."
He looks around at his companions, still feeling the effects of the poison himself. "Shall we take a rest then I can try to make something to restrain our friend here? Or ... explore a little more? We all look the worse for wear."
While he waits for an answer Karib checks the bonds on the half-dragon, then starts to consider how a harness might be fashioned: Perhaps a cross-bar with shackles for tying the arms, a ring around the neck combined with plates to keep the head facing forward and down. He examines the unusual bone structure of the head, working out how he might keep it facing down and keep the eyes covered by blinkers.
"If he can't see us, any spells he has won't work on us, and if he can't move his arms, spells are limited..." he muses, "...and I'd like to avoid that lightning of his."
He doesn't look happy with his plans: they don't really fit with treating prisoners well, but then again Cyanwrath was planning to use Karib as food. I guess what goes around comes around. At least he's alive, and has a chance of staying that way.
Since Smoke didnt seem to find anything he says Ok they dont have any more weapons. He then starts to pace around as Karib and Rogram fuss around Cyanwrath.
Not good.. this is not goodhe mumbles to himself as he moves untill Rogram does his short stare and stops pacing. I want you to find them too.. but Cyanwrath..
He shakes his head. He said Rezmir outsmarted us by moving away. he pauses a moment She might be moving to attack again or perhaps she is not coming back.
But we are in no shape to follow, we have sleeping goblins behind us and who knows what is behind the tunnels.

"Yes, we need to rest. The only question is how long do we stay in thisroom. We got lucky that the dozen kobolds back there didn't notice us when we passed them, but, there is no guarantee that they won't notice us on our retreat. But, can we sleep here in safety. Is there any place in here that we can fortify quickly to rest up, or should we simply take a shorter break here, grab a bite to eat and then go back past the kobolds and find a more secure location to rest in?"
As Yevele finishes talking, she begins looking around the cavern trying to see if there might be some place they could rest here, out of sight of someone who might pass through the room, or stick there head in to look for Cyanwrath. investigation5

(( I doubt it makes a difference, but I forgot bless on Karib's attack: 2 ))
Rogram frowns at the man's ability to stay upright after so many blows. He tries again, still aiming to knock out rather than kill.
Attack: 24 Damage: 7 non-lethal
OOC: Yevele will have to drop her sword in order to draw her bow and fire it in the same turn.

If the attack hits, she will make it a kensei's shot with her bonus action, doing an additional 2 points of damage.
OOC I have no problem with her dropping her sword so that she can shoot an arrow in the same round.
