With his opponent's arm dangling uselessly, Rogram has an easy time finding an opening in the defenses to cut the man down.
Karib reaches through the mess of shadowy demons to grab Mondath's arm. The demons coalesce around the clerics as arcane energy surges between them. After a brief moment of resistance, Mondath emits a pained scream as Karib proves the victor. In that moment, Smoke quickly closes the distance and plants the tip of his rapier squarely through the hole that had been blasted in her armor. As she falls to the floor, his sword through her chest, the demonic forms she had conjured swirl and dissipate, sending a burst of disturbing energy outward into the cavern.
The remaining cultist watches the disappearing demons to find Yevele leaping through them. He joins Mondath on the ground, his neck cleanly snapped. The pair of kobolds who were brave enough to remain load stones into their slings and launch them toward the party. When neither stone finds a target, they scramble out of the cavern altogether, leaving only the labored sounds of exerted breath in the chamber.
OOC: Each character has received 150 XP for defeating Mondath and her guards.
Rogram growls through his bared teeth as he turns, raising his sword in preparation of bringing it down upon the mage. His swing halts in mid-air, however, as he sees Smoke finish her off himself. He then begins to turn toward the final cultist, but again pauses as Yevele dispatches them quickly. Two flying rocks catch his attention next, and he scowls at the kobolds as they turn to flee. The half-dwarf pursues them!
OOC: Kobolds can move 30 feet, and Rogram can move 25. So, he could dash to catch up to them, but won't be able to attack this round.
Seein, g Rogram run after the kobolds, Yevele curses quietly, and then follows him out the door. The monk will remain behind the dwarf, but, will have her bow ready to shoot at any of the kobolds who look like they may pose a threat.
As Smoke pulls the rapier from Mondath the demons disappear around him giving him a sense of relief. The kobolds running away would of given him that as well if not for Rogram and Yevele running after them.
He quickly follows the pair, guesing Rogram might try to prevent them from getting more guards.
Smoke glances over at Karib to make sure he notices them chasing and alerts him if needed. Karib! before moving his eyes back to the chase.

Karib was about to sag against the wall to recover a little strength when the half-dwarf runs off again. He shakes his head then closes his eyes briefly, again calling on Gond's aid, this time to heal himself. As the bleeding slows a little he starts trudging after the others, breathing heavily and wiping bloody spittle from his mouth.
The kobolds seem intent on getting as far away from their attackers as possible. Rogram catches the closest pair, who simply disengage and charge through the nearby carpet of fungi and leap up onto the staircase that takes them toward the cavern's entrance.
OOC: Two kobolds are closest to Rogram, 30 feet away. The other pair that fled earlier are nowhere in sight.
Hearing Karib, Yevele turns and looks back at the cleric. Seeing him return back to the room, the monk will follow suit, glance over her shoulder and motioning for Rogram to follow them.

OOC: Sorry if it wasn't clear, I mentioned that the kobolds were running toward the cavern entrance. That would be back the way you originally came in.
If Rogram wants to continue chasing after them, let me know.

When Karib returns to the scene of the battle, he finds Mondath still clinging to life, but barely, unconscious and quickly bleeding out from the wound left by Smoke's rapier.
(( Medicine check 18 (incl guidance) in combat log ))
Karib leans down beside the fallen enemy and offers a brief prayer to Gond before trying to mend their wounds and stabilize them. He does the best he can, then tears off the end of one of the other cultist's robes, using it to gag the prisoner. He then ties the man's hands and feet with rope, again asking for the aid of Gond. Finally, he uses the remains of the cloak to to wrap around the prisoner's head, as a hood.
If/when the others return, he looks up and breathes a sigh of relief. "He's alive...I think. But he'll be out for a while."
Sagging to the ground again, he stares at his own wounds and then his gaze slowly returns to the prisoner, "Someone with more skill than I should re-bind him. I'll help and ask Gond for aid. Don't want the bastard getting free."

When Yevele reenters the room and sees Karib tending to Mondath, she frowns and walks over to the cleric. "I'm not sure if we should be saving this one. She is more trouble than the half-dragon. I doubt she will talk, but, the governor at Greenest may know what to do with her."
The monk will then kneel down and begin to strip the armor off of Mondath. "If she should get free from her bonds, I want her as defenseless as possible." Once the armor has been removed, Yevele will search Mondath, being sure to remove any weapons the cleric has on her, and looking for anything else that might be of interest. investigation8
Karib stems the flow of blood from Mondath's chest and Yevele removes her chain mail as she is bound, removing her glaive from her reach as well. No longer on death's door, her breathing stabilizes, her face still pale from the loss of blood. Yevele does not find any valuables on her apart from her weaponry.
OOC: I'll pop the complete map of the hatchery back up for reference. Once the party has determined their next action, we shall continue!
Seeing the other three stop pursuit and Yevele actually motion for him to return, Rogram's feet slow to a halt. He turns and watches the kobolds continue running away. Letting his arms relax so that his shield hangs at an odd angle and his sword tip falls to the ground, the half-dwarf half shrugs in defeat. He walks back toward the stirge lair, feeling a mix of emotions.
Karib smiles as the dwarf returns, "Not so glum lad: The kobolds are fast and would easily escape. We got the prize..." he pokes the unconscious prisoner with his foot.
"We should take her back to the other one."

Rogram continues, attempting to follow in the goblins' footsteps.
Karib manages to shout between gasping for breath, "Leave 'em be, lad. Its over!" For now.
Then he returns slowly to check if any of the fallen are alive and might be stabilised.
OOC: Giving some more time for Yevele and Smoke to provide input (and for Rogram to potentially respond to Karib) before resolving.

Smoke's pace also slows as the others do.
Hold on. We dont know where they are leading us.
He takes a moment to catch his breath again.
(ooc i assume they led us further into the cave instead of where we came from?)
