Karib examines the bonds on the other prisoner, then says softly, "Sorry friend, but I'd hate you to release this one," as he knocks them unconscious as well.
(( Ready to move on; I assume exploring remaining areas -- should someone/Karib remain to guard the prisoners? ))
Smoke looks away as Karib knocks them out looking to the stairs for their way out again. We should try to see why they were left here. They must be guarding something more than this meatlocker.
Smoke will also want to check out the room where they fought Mondath and see what doors/halls link to it.

OOC: Smoke - do you mean to say the room where you fought Cyanwrath? It sounds like that's where the group wants to head next but just wanted to confirm before I made the necessary rolls and resolved the movement.
I'll move us along once we have confirmation and possibly a response to Karib.
Yevele will bring up the rear as the party begins to move back to the room where they fought Cyanwrath, keeping her bow at hand, and keeping an eye and ear out for any trouble approaching.

Upon bludgeoning the prisoners into a deep slumber, the party ascends the staircase, leaving the safety of the meat locker once more (I don't believe anybody specified that they were maneuvering the barbed curtain but I'm just going to assume that was done for the sake of keeping us moving. Since nobody responded to Karib's question about remaining to guard the prisoners, I'll assume that the whole party is moving together).
You arrive upon the scene of the battle against Mondath in the stirges' lair to find a pair of winged kobolds standing above the blood and bodies. At their side is a blue-scaled guard drake, sniffing and pawing at the scene. As you enter the chamber, the drake stands alert, and the kobolds rush to draw their daggers, shouting in alarm.
The guard drake takes its cue from the shout, charging straight for Karib. Using its thick tail, it lunges into the cleric, failing to knock him off balance as it searches for an opening to plant its jagged teeth.
One kobold takes flight toward the ceiling, grabbing a stone from the ground, as its companion flies in a straight line for Rogram with its dagger leading the way. Rogram rolls to the side, managing to come back to his feet only grazed by the dagger, as the stone thrown downward by the other kobold smashes apart on the ground beside him.
Round 1 Order: Enemies Players <=====

Seeing the unexpected battle unfold in front of him Smoke draws his rapier and rushes to the side of the guard drake to aid Karib moving fast and sliding to its side with a diagonal strike with his blade.
[Draconic:]
No, get back! ... Stop!
Smoke then looks to Karib. It cant fight us both at once! Hit it while i distract it!
Movement: moving to the side of the guard drake Action: Rapier vs drake Attack: 27 Damage: 14 Bonus action: Bardic inspiration on Karib (1d6)
The grounded kobold shrieks and twists its wing in a feeble attempt to defend itself from Rogram, who impales the creature through the wing and body. Looking up, he sees Yevele's arrow strike its flying companion, which soars across the cavern above the others fighting the drake, striking Karib with a rock and distracting him from his strike with his staff. The drake shrinks back from Smoke's rapier, then lunges forward and nips at the tabaxi's leg.

Rogram points his sword at the winged kobold, but looks at Yevele. "Take out the flying lizard." The half-dwarf then hurries to join Smoke and Karib in attacking the drake. He thrusts his sword at its hide, attempting to draw blood, then draws his sword back in a defensive position.
Attack: 13 Damage: 9
If the attack hits: Blade flourish, defensive flourish: attack for an additional 5, and add that to AC until my next turn (and uses one bardic inspiration)

As the drake moves to bite Smoke he jolts back trying to stay out of its way. He shifts his feet placing one foot behind him and realigning his rapier to thrust it forward trying to pierce the skin of the creature as he pushes the blade forward.

(ooc Yes where we fought, it had 1 or 2 routes that we did not discover yet so seemed a good spot.)
