Karib sighs and drops the kobold and meat. "Nibbled to death by cockroaches, eh lad?" he says to Rogram as he passes.
Moving forward he mutters a prayer to his god as flames erupt around and between the kobolds they face, and once more his staff takes on a menacing look as he moves adjacent to them. He then glares menacingly at the kobolds, "Surrender or die," he say nodding back at the kobold body that he dropped.
[Tooltip Not Found] DC 14 Dex save or take 3 fire damage; if entering or ending turn there take another D8. Try to place it to affect as many kobolds as possible (2?).
One of the kobolds is quickly engulfed in flame before Karib, while the other falls almost as quickly, dodging Rogram's sword and an arrow from Yevele only to find Smoke's dagger plunged into its throat.
Four winged kobolds soar out of the room beyond and over the smoke of the raging bonfire (and searing kobold) with daggers drawn. They break into pairs, one giving chase to Smoke while the others hover in the air near Karib, trying to stick their daggers beneath his armor. One nearly takes the cleric's ear off, while the other pair hounds Smoke. A dagger cuts into the tabaxi's leg, while the other drops a rock onto his skull from above, glancing off but dazing him, blood running down his face and matting his fur.
Round 2 Order: Players <===== Winged Kobolds
Placement: All combatants are within movement range.
Health: Smoke is severely wounded. Yevele is severely wounded. Rogram is badly wounded. Karib is badly wounded.
(( Assuming he can cast it without affecting his friends ))
Karib once more calls upon the power of Gond as a small amount of his strength is renewed, then lights erupt around the kobolds as he moves within melee range to make their missile attacks more difficult.
(( Recovers a level one spell slot as a bonus action and uses his innate ability to cast Faerie Fire ))
DC 14 on Faerie fire, or all attacks against them at Advantage.
As the kobolds target Smoke he tries to run away but gets cuts only to feel something hit him from above. He almost stumbles to the ground see his blood drip down onto the soil as he tries to shake it off.
Determined not to have these kobolds best him he uses his free hand to hold his wound a moment trying to press on it a bit. Show me a spark and keep me from the dark
A faint light appears from beneath his hand and he sighs a bit of relief before turning to the kobold close to him to strike it with his dagger.
Bonus Action:Healing word to heal 11 hp (see diceroll thread) Action: Dagger attack vs engaged kobold tohit 13 (first roll highest) for 9 dmg
Nearest Karib, the winged kobolds flap the faerie lights away, but the pair near Smoke are caught unawares. The tabaxi guts one in midair as his wounds begin to heal, while Rogram carves the other down as it flies haphazardly in circles, wounded by an arrow from Yevele. More kobolds, an unwinged quartet, scramble into the hall from the chamber, their mouths drooling ferocity and frenzy.
Two of the new arrivals load stones into their slings, launching them past the fray toward Rogram and Yevele as they bring down the winged kobold; one missing Rogram, the other whistling directly for Yevele's head. The remaining pair, eyes gleaming, join their flying companions. Karib is quickly surrounded by four kobolds, two flying and two grounded. His mace collides with a dagger in midair, pushing one attack aside while his shield bats away a lunging kobold on the ground. His armor provides ample defense for another, but the same can't be said for the fourth, flying kobold, which cuts its dagger into the side of his neck. Overwhelmed, the cleric falls to the ground, bleeding.
Round 3 Order: Players <===== Enemies
Placement: Four kobolds and two winged kobolds remain. All combatants are within movement range.
Health: Karib is unconscious and dying (0 successes, 0 failures). Yevele is grieviously wounded. Rogram is badly wounded. Smoke is lightly wounded.
OOC: Want to make sure I point it out that if you ever have something, a spell or feature or reaction that prevents damage, I'll always retcon the resolution to include that. It's just a necessity of the PbP format that reactions have to happen asynchronously.
After Smoke cut down the kobold near him he only has a bit of time to enjoy it as he looks back to see Karib getting surrounded. Seeing him go down he shouts NOO!..
He drops his dagger and rushes forward pulling out his rapier to move near Karibs body and tries to time the last few steps to leap up bringing his rapier in the air and tries to use the momentum to boost his strike, trying to swing down onto one of the winged kobolds.
As Smoke lands he bends through his knees and stays low a moment, using his free hand to shake Karib a bit and scrambling his remaining magical powers to aid him Let these wounds dissolve as there is a fight to resolve. Providing a faint magic glow moving over Karib before it fades once more.
Smoke will then stand up straight again holding his rapier in front of himself, hoping to fend off the kobolds long enough for Karib to get to his feet.
Movement: moving to stand near Karib Action: Rapier vs winged kobold tohit 9 dmg 11 (see diceroll thread) Bonus action: lv 2 Healing word to heal Karib for 12 hp (wow max roll)
Karib surges to his feet, roaring incoherently at the kobolds as the veins on his head pulse anew. As he gather up his staff it once again takes on a menacing form. He shakes his head as flames erupt around the nearest two kobolds.
(( DC 14 Dex save or take 1 point of fire damage, if move into and if end turn in fire then take a further 1d8. Trying to place it so that the flames touch as many as possible nearby, so that they have to step back and provoke an AOO and/or lose pack tactics ))

Rogram furrows his brow at the outbreak of danger around him. Rocks and daggers from the kobolds, and now fire from the recovered Karib. He eyes the targets around him and swings at the nearest.
OOC: Yevele's redirected missile will kill its target, so redirecting her arrow to the other kobold nearest.
Yevele snatches the incoming missile, spinning once to fling the stone back toward the kobold with momentum, then again, nocking an arrow into her bow in the process and dropping to a knee at the end of the spin. The arrow follows just behind the stone, dropping the pair of kobolds along the far wall. Rogram and Smoke rush to Karib's defense, stabbing and slicing toward the winged kobolds overhead, fending them off long enough for Smoke's healing to take root in Karib's still form. Flame roars along the ground as Karib moves defiantly to his feet. The grounded kobolds near the fire rush away from the heat of the flames, disengaging from the cleric and moving to the far side of the chamber. Karib swats his shield around, feeling two more painful bites of daggers from the winged kobolds needling him from above. The raging bonfire disappears, Karib's concentration fully engaged on avoiding death.
Past the disengaging kobolds, two more winged creatures soar into the landing, pausing just long enough to nab a rock each from the packs of fallen companions. They fly above Rogram and Smoke, launching the stones down toward the pair, each missing.

Karib is grievously wounded. Yevele is severely wounded. Rogram is badly wounded. Smoke is lightly wounded.
Nearly getting hit by more stones this time Smoke was quick enough to avoid them. He then turns his attention back to the Winged Kobold near him slicing his blade diagonally to try and cut down the creature.
Turning to his side he shouts out to Rogram Show them what your anger can do!
He then tries to stay close to the others to avoid the kobolds from ganging up on them.
Action: Rapier vs winged kobold engaged with him tohit 18 for 12 dmg (see diceroll thread) Bonus action: Bardic Inspiration to Rogram (1d6) Movement: None
OOC: Giving some more time for Karib and Yevele's actions before botting and resolving.
