"I think we should avoid them entirely," chips in Thia. "No need for any entanglements and a confrontation merely risks us getting injured, or giving away the fact we're tailing them. Could we not just move cautiously past and continue to follow the main army?"
Thrax considers what to do about the enemy scouting party they have discovered. “Do we think we can get more information from them? They don’t seem to fill in their rank and file soldiers with a lot of information based on the last captive we took, perhaps it would be best to sneak past... or we could try to convince them we’re party of the raiding party and fell behind and are looking to rejoin. If we fail to convince them we are a part of the hoard then it’s better we get found out now as opposed to when we meet up with the whole army.

Rogram hadn't considered sneaking past the party. He's not sure which would be best. He listens to Thia and Thrax, then looks back at Smoke to see if the tabaxi has a reaction to the two suggestions.
Yevele will take one last look to see what is on the other side of the kobold/human camp before making her way back to the party. Once there, the monk will let the party know about her observations "There are four humans and eight kobolds in the camp. There is currently some sort of dispute between the kobolds and the humans, and the humans are arguing with each other. The humans have set their weapons aside at the moment. I see several possibilities here: (1) we could try and sneak past the camp. But, with some of us being armored, that may not be a simple task getting past them; (2) We could have our stealthier members sneak past them and attack them from two sides, hoping to catch them off guard. (3) We could see if we can turn their disagreements into a fight amongst themselves, with our party going in at the end to finish off any survivors."
"If we want to try and get them fighting amongst themselves, it might be helpful if someone knows kobold, or we could take advantage of the kobolds carrying slings and hit one or two of the humans in the head with rocks."
"What do we gain from attacking?" asks Thia, nervously. "I'm happy to ambush them and we clearly have an advantage in doing so, but what are we trying to achieve? I think we should be clear in our heads before we attack, what are we trying to achieve?" she repeats.
Smoke places his hand under his chin as he ponders the options. Information is what we seek. We want to know where they are going.
He takes a few steps forward looking in the direction of where the camp would be.
If we sneak past we might still be able to follow the larger army. But they could catch up to us so sneaking past is not without danger. So if we dont attack them, perhaps we could delay them as well.
Rogram opens his mouth to respond "Revenge!" after Thia's question, but Smoke's answer cuts the half-dwarf off. Rogram closes his mouth and decides to listen some more.
OOC: The action here is dependent upon the party, so someone needs to confirm an action before anything can be advanced. A lot of possibilities have been mentioned but nothing concrete for me to resolve yet.
Thrax is in favor of either bypassing the raiders entirely or trying to join/infiltrate their ranks. He isn’t keen on picking a fight when they have other options.

OOC: We have one official vote for bypassing the raiders, but still need a confirmed action. If that is the action the party wishes to take, I would like to get a picture of how you would like to attempt to get past their camp before I can resolve it.
What this party needs is a leader. Someone who is decisive but makes good decisions that the rest of us can appreciate and follow. I am pretty impressed with the monk so far. She seems to know what she is about, but she's suggesting options rather than making decisions. Perhaps she just needs a little nudging in the right direction. "Let us sneak past," responds Thia. "Give them wide berth and skip them entirely. If they spot us and challenge us we pretend to be part of the bandit gang."
Yes we shall spare them this day and journey around. He bends through his knees and motions his hands horizontally to imitate sneaking around Quietly passing them by. Unsure if they will follow and try to track down more of the raiders.
He nods Very well, we shall boldly enter the mids of the raiders and continue our quest.
Rogram attempts to hide his disappointment. "So we're going around?" He makes a regretful humming sound and bangs lightly on his armor. "Sneaking isn't very easy in this armor. I could take it off and wrap it in my bedroll if you think that would help."
Rogram first looks surprised and then angry at Thia. "Don't yell at me," the half-dwarf replies, brow furrowed, but his voice still relatively calm. "You four are the ones wanting to go around. I'm just trying to keep from causing trouble. I would much rather gut them than avoid them." His big hand is clenching and relaxing, ready to draw his sword at a moment's notice.
"Why don't Smoke and I sneak up and see if we can learn why they are fighting each other. Once we figure that out, maybe we can if someone is a ventriloquist, we can use that to start a fight between the humans and the kobolds. But, that assumes that someone here speaks kobold."
"If we can start a fight between them, we can wait until that fight is over before we go in to finish off the rest."
OOC I know kobolds speak draconic rather than kobold, but, Yevele doesn't know that.
Rogram reluctantly takes his eyes off of Thia to look at Yevele. "If it would help, I can disguise myself again to look like one of them. I'm no ventriloquist, but if I look like one more than sound like them, that might still work if we're trying to trick them." He rolls his shoulders, and his hand has stopped clinching.
Very well, we shall go in looking like them. He starts to pull some stuff from his back. It reminds me the tale of the Halflings that stole from the Dwarves of Ascore.
He pulls out some pieces of cloth to put on his head to hide his ears and fur. Give me a hand will you? He says without looking to anyone as he is busy putting stuff on
They stuffed their clothes to look like stout dwarves clanking around in chain mails ackwardly. But they fooled the dwarves alright.
Smoke continues to put some cosmedics on his face around his eyes to look like some scarred skin and takes another cloth to wrap in front of his mouth. Now covering his head fully and only allowing some room for his eyes that display some scarred skin peeking through the narrow gap between the cloths.
The halflings managed to steal barrels of ale from the dwarves. The loss of ale drove some of them mad with shame.
Smoke tucks in his tail under his clothes. Then starts to move towards Thrax to put some details on him
Not wanting to be associated with the place most dwarves left, leaving only those that turned mad. The place became a ghosttown, haunted even some say.
He applies some finishing touches and takes a few steps back to watch his masterpiece on Thrax. Smoke would not change to much on Thrax just make him appear similar to the halfdragon warrior they met earlier. Not believing he could disguise Thrax fully.
There. Perfect.
Alright you are now Thrax the Terrible. We are your escort and i your trusted spokesperson who suffered horrible battle scars.Smoke visiually displays getting wounded as he says this. Then looks to Rogram. Perhaps you can use your magics again to disguise yourself. Perhaps they would distrust a non-human.
Smoke looks to Yevele and Thia. Not sure if you need disguises, you already look human. What do you think? He moves to Thia to carefully move her hair over her ears.
(asked for someone to help in case of rolls needed for disguises :P, Smoke is proficient with disguise kit)
Thia will smile at Smoke's story and help him with his disguise. (OOC: though not skilled with Disguise Kit, she is proficient with Deception so is hopefully able to help effectively.)
"I also speak the language of the kobolds," she tells the group. "I am happy to try and aid in this deception."
"I think we should avoid them entirely," chips in Thia. "No need for any entanglements and a confrontation merely risks us getting injured, or giving away the fact we're tailing them. Could we not just move cautiously past and continue to follow the main army?"
