As Rogram and Yevele head back toward the sleeping kobolds, Yevele whispers to Rogram "Let's kill one of them and tie the other two up. We can separate them, and tell them separately that the first one who gives us the information we need will be set free, while the other one will be killed."
If Rogram agrees with this strategy, Yevele will motion Rogram over to the first kobold and motions for both of them to attack the kobold at the same time. Yevele will hit with the kobold's head with her quarterstaff Attack: 14 Damage: 10 followed by a kick to the head Attack: 19 Damage: 4
OOC The second roll was without advantage, if she still head advantage on the kick, this would be the second attack roll 18
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Rogram at first looks a little disappointed that they're not going to do away with all three kobolds right away, but appears to concede and gives the monk a silent nod. He points his sword at the creature's torso and watches for Yevele to act. Immediately after her first attack, the half-dwarf jabs.
Attack: 10 Damage: 10
OOC: Surely the creature is dead from Yevele's attacks alone.
Once the kobold is dead, Rogram will use his rope to tie up one of the two remaining kobolds to carry out the plan as outlined by Yevele.
After the goblin is dead, Yevele will grab her rope and tie up the other kobold. Once the kobold's are tied up, Yevele will pick up the one she has tied up and carry it down to where the rest of the party is. The monk will be sure to keep the kobold's mouth away from her body, so it can't bite her. As she starts to move, she turns to Rogram and says "I'll send Thia up here to help question your kobold. Smoke can question this one."
Besides their cheap weapons, Thia finds 28 silver pieces among the bodies of the humans. Rogram and Yevele easily dispatch a sleeping kobold and drag the remaining two away from each other.
OOC: Your disguises will last throughout the night, but they can be reapplied/touched up in the morning.
Replying to Thrax Yes we got a lot of information here thats very good.
When Rogram and Yevele return to the group Smoke puts his whistle stick away. Glad it had some use. Thinking back about how long he has had it and never really used it before.
He then quickly snaps out of his memories as he sees the pair kill the sleeping kobold. Well now.. hold on.. .. is that really .. he says a little to late for the poor fellow. He recomposes himself as they finish.
Smoke will reapply his scarf to cover his face. Then turns to the group, I can question the kobold but, what more do we wish to learn from it? The humans gave us much information. He will recite what he learned so those not standing near the humans will know as well and as a recap.
They are looting for the dragon queen.. that can only mean one vile creature.
They said they kept those that did not resist because they would make good workers
To correct Thrax they said we are about a mile behind the rearguard, perhaps they have patrols setup
Langdedrosa Cyanwrath is name of the halfdragon that fought Thrax and seems to be in charge
OOC: If asked Rogram will reply that his magic disguise lasts about an hour.
Rogram gives Yevele a little nod and waits impatiently for Thia. If the kobold is awake (I imagine it is after being tied up), he'll look menacingly at it, and if it tries to speak, he'll promptly tell it to shut up.
Yevele will set her kobold down on the ground facing the bodies of the humans that were killed earlier. She will then turn to Thia and tell her "Can you head up to where Rogram is and help him interrogate the other kobold."
Turning to Smoke, the monk will say "Tell him that we have killed all of their companions except for one other kobold. Which ever one of those two provides us the information we are looking for first will live. The other one will be killed on the spot."
"Ask him where the army's home base is, ask him what Cyanwrath's next objective is, and ask him to describe any captives he has seen."
OOC From what I understand, Rogram and 1 kobold is 150 feet away from Smoke. We don't want the two kobolds to know what the other one is saying.
Thia will make her way back to where Rogram has the second kobold. She settles down in front of it and makes sure it is giving her its full attention.
"It's simple," she tells it in draconic. "We have killed all your friends except one other kobold. If you answer my questions you live. If not, you die like them. Understood?"
She waits for a nod or some sign of comprehension and then asks, "Where is your army's home base?"
Something tells me this is going to be interesting, but maybe we'll have saved a smart one...
OOC: The humans are not carrying anything that stands out. There are no markings or insignias on their clothing or weapons, and neither their clothing nor armor is uniform in any way.
The kobolds remain asleep as they are tied, but wake as Thia is approaching Rogram. The creature pants and heaves, eyes darting nervously from side to side. When Thia informs it of its situation, it nods frantically. "Yes, yes, understand!" it shouts in Draconic, then answers, "Base? Big camp! Humans know, not us. We follow humans, humans going to camp, but humans stop and eat, lazy, lazy humans! We try, we try to make humans go but humans lazy!"
Near the others, opposite the vale, the other kobold groggily stares upward until it sees the bodies. It kicks against the ground, trying desperately to inch away from Yevele.
Smoke nods to Yevele still a bit hesitant of this action.
He moves over to the kobold and stares at him silently a moment before speaking calmly in draconic
Your allies are dead. All that remain are you and another kobold over there. We will compare your answers and if they are different that means one of you is lying. If you tell us the truth we will let you go.
Where is this army headed?
Smoke will be quiet a moment so the kobold can answer.
After that he will ask another question in draconic so the kobold would perhaps be able to answer better than in the common tongue
What are you doing with the captives and have you seen any that stand out? Describe them to me. We are looking for some people.
Thrax watches with morbid curiosity as his companions question the two remaining Kobolds. He is not as sensitive about the execution as Smoke, but does not spend much effort assisting with the interrogation. He is skeptical that they will learn any new information from them, but is open to letting them try to learn what they can.
He hisses out quietly to Smoke, "We still need to learn what their numbers are, and what the next target is going to be. We can estimate their numbers from scouting... but its going to be difficult to learn where they plan on launching their next raid. They do not seem to reveal much to the lower level members."
He glances over at the farm in the distance, "Perhaps this is the Balastacia farm? That is the name of the place Rogram's father was to travel to, yes?"

OOC: Apologies if I described something confusingly, but there are no farms in sight here. You left the last farm behind a few hours outside of Greenest.
Thia's kobold shouts back in Draconic, "Find humans! Yes, humans know, you find humans and they take you to camp!"
Smoke's kobold, slightly less panicked, answers, "Camp, to camp, then we wait for dragon lady to command." It nods enthusiastically next, "Yes, many, many prisoners. All kinds of prisoners! People you looking for definitely there, yes."
Yevele stands ready to assist Smoke in whatever way she can. If Smoke appears irritated by the kobold's answer, she will smack him across the head with her hand, not trying to kill him, but hard enough to make him aware of her presence.

"That," says Thia as she looks up from where she searches the human bodies for any significant items, "is an excellent question."

Rogram begins clenching and unclenching his fist in an attempt at patience.
Yevele stands ready to assist Smoke in whatever way she can. If Smoke appears irritated by the kobold's answer, she will smack him across the head with her hand, not trying to kill him, but hard enough to make him aware of her presence.
Smoke frowns at the kobolds answer before asking his final questions in draconic
Where is this camp and what is the name of this dragon lady?
Waiting for this answers he will reply
How many of you are at this camp?
Smoke will look over to the other kobold to get an idea of how they are doing then look back towards the kobold in front of him.
