Fighting Grounds:
The next match will feature all interest level 3 competitors!
When you arrive at the fighting grounds, for a moment it seems as though the area has been overtaken by forest. However, you realize that what you took for dense forest is in fact rows of tall hedges arranged to form a maze. The arena for this match has been transferred into a labyrinth!
The afternoon sun shines bright overhead, its light making the hedges a brilliant green.
To win... 2... Control Points: 4 flags (¥) in the arena are available to capture starting on the second round. Begin and end your turn within ten feet of the flag to capture the point. Control all four points to win, or control more points than your opponent for 5 rounds.
Map Key:
¥: Flag Black lines: 8 ft. walls (full cover). Green lines: 8 ft. hedges (full cover). A 5ft. segment of hedges has 20 hp and is vulnerable to fire. Green and brown circles: Trees. DC 10 Athletics/Acrobatics check to climb for 3/4 cover. 'A-Z': Characters
Capturing Flags:
Starting on the second round, you can capture the flags. You must start and end your turn within 10 feet of the flag to capture it. You cannot capture it if a conscious enemy is also within 10 ft of the flag. Below is a diagram that shows what counts as within range of the flag. Everything inside the grey line is within range, everything outside is not. Therefore character Y can capture the flag, but character X can not.
If you wish to join this battle, choose a starting position in row one, make any final preparations (you have one round to prepare before the match starts), and roll initiative when ready. Everyone starts each match with one Potion of Healing. Please also include your character sheet link in your first post.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
An armoured woman climbs onto a platform at one end of the arena. "Welcome, one and all! Here you will witness the newest contestants, shining with promise and eager to show you their skills!"
A bird-like creature stands ready, holding a longbow. "Vertenya Stormmaiden, an aerial archer here to amaze you with acrobatic antics!" A fae being leaps onto the battlefield. "Her hooves and horns may surprise you, but it's Olly's wit you really have to look out for!" Another warrior walks out, ready to fight. "Markus! Powerful and mighty, don't underestimate him!" And finally... 12... an elven warrior wearing leather and carrying a scimitar. "Amaruve, druid of the the moon!"
(@Legion4: I can't find Markus' character sheet anywhere else, so could you post it again here?) (@I_Love_Tarrasques: I notice Vertenya has a mule and alchemist's fire listed on your character sheet. Unfortunately, neither of these will be allowed in this match. You can buy alchemist's fire afterwards, though.)
(It is now Vertenya's and Olly's turn. Please post your turn within the next 24 hours.)
Horatio Hirschfeld - Squire imbued with fae powers, in the Coliseum of Conquest (W2/L1) DM for Reavers of Harkenwold, and sometimes The Fighting Grounds of the Coliseum
Olly prances her around and scales the first set of bushes before her over to the other side. Although before dropping down from there, she lets out a loud, haunting bleat filled with deadly enchantment just for Amaurave's ear's.
Movement: Making her way downtown to L-2, and try to climb to the other side to L-3. (Acrobatics: 19). Then continue on to M-5. (or L-5 if cannot move at a diagonal there. Or N-5 if climbing didn't count as difficult terrain)
Action:Cast at Negging at 2nd level on Amaurave. DC 13 Wisdom Save for half of 10 Psychic Damage, and moving further away from Olly if possible.
Alternatively:
*If she would not be able to hear, or knowing the spell couldn't affect her for some other reason, Olly will instead Dash to O-7.

Amaruve moves to H10 and casts Heat Metal on Vertenya's armour. Damage: 5, and Vertenya has disadvantage on all attack rolls and ability checks this turn. He then morphs into a giant spider.
(Map updated above.)

Olly springs her way over and up the hedge. From the top, she grins and asked playfully, "Tell me is it hot out here? Or is that just you?" She plays a quick note on her pan flute as much for the zinger as it was completing the spell. Then, its back down the hedge she goes for safety!
Movement: Hippity Hopping over to K-6, and try to climb to top of the hedge. (Acrobatics: 13).
Action: Cast Hot Potato at 2nd level on Markus's Armor. 7Fire Damage done and disadvantage on all further attack rolls and checks while wearing it.
Movement: Back to L-6.
(I_Love_Tarrasques: Keep in mind you also have a Bardic Inspiration from Olly from the match prep if you need it.)
Olly climbs up onto the hedges, heats Markus' armour to unbearable temperatures, then hops back down in range of the flag.
(Vertenya.)
