"Oi Astra, can ya make us fly an' get out of here?"

After Astra gets a much needed facial from the spa, he takes out a bird feather and casts Fly on first Asha and Zyn to get the hell outta there. Afterwards, he casts fly on himself and Kitsune, being sure to keep tabs on the King to see if they were following them.

"Come on, frog dude, let's get the heck outta here!" Zyn said, grabbing Imbok like a child. "Someone grab Kira!"

And she launched off, but looked back to see if everyone else was ok. Off in the near distance, King, the feathered spell casting t-rex, didn't immediately notice our launch off, but when he did see us, released a terrible roar watching us flee. Thankfully, he couldn't fly either, and wasn't too terribly smart, so we were able to return to Nangnang's shrine unmolested.

The chief was happy to see us, and we spent about 4 minutes watching Imbok and the chief argue among themselves. As they did so, the chief waved us away without a thanks and let us go into the shrine, which we did. Since we needed the cube.

The entire shrine was a maze like location filled with loot. Torches shed light over rooms filled of treasure: chests heaped with coins, polished amphorae, strings of pearls, and ornate pieces of armor. Set into the floor in front of another double door is a mosaic depicting a frog-like humanoid beating a leopard that has snakes emerging from its shoulders. Cuneiform inscriptions are woven above and below the combatants.

“Nangnang teaches us to serve only ourselves.” The inscriptions below tell how Nangnang stole a spear belonging to Shagambi. After looking around a bit, we came to a set of open double doors that led to a central chamber. In the middle of this dusty room, a stone cube rests on a pedestal carved and painted to resemble a squat, humanoid frog.

Kira waves goodbye to the grung and then slips into the room. She glances at the others. "Want me to mage hand this one up too?"

"I do. I don't think that it's as easy as just walkin' up an' takin' it."

Zyn unhooks one of her sickle chains and spins it around a few times, gaining momentum, then, she swings it across, knocking the cube off the pedestal. The cube clatters to the floor in front of Kira. Zyn looks around for a few seconds, but nothing but a handful of curious tribal grungs along the walls watching is all that is happening.

She smiles, stretches her hand out and bows slightly, as if to say, it's all yours, madam.

As an offering of peace and gratitude, Kitsune will leave a pile of gold pieces sitting on the pedestal (50gp) where the puzzle cube used to reside.

"Cool!" Kira goes to pick up the cube and probably die a horrible death.

You reach for the cube, and in a blinding flash of necrotic light, you can feel a terrible amount of radiation course over your whole body as an internal trap is triggered by your touch. You are instantly vaporized as all of the cells in your body wither and die and a truly fantastic rate. Zyn, Astra, Kitsune, and Asha can do nothing but stare agape at where you once stood. Even the grung watching can't believe what they just saw. One of them farts loudly in the silence.

Just kidding.

You're fine. You've got the cube.

Kira holds up the cube. "We got another one! Whoo!"

Kitsune mildly golf claps....

AREA 13 - THE AMPHITHEATER

A ruined amphitheater looms over the surrounding buildings. Vines cling to its steps, and animal statues line its stands. The muddy ground outside is stripped clean of vegetation. An eerie silence hangs over the area. No birds cry, no insects chirp, nothing stirs. As you approach the amphitheater, you can’t fail to notice giant clawed footprints in the mud. From toe to heel, each footprint spans over 20 feet. Closer to the ruin, they find long, slender feathers in scarlet, orange, and green hues, and heaps of dung large enough to bury an outhouse.

There are eyes staring at you from the depths of the amphitheater, which put you on edge. Something is living here with King. There are mounds of what appear to be treasure littered all over the place.

Zyn looks around nervously. "Oh my... We uh..." 

Alright! No updates in eight hours, time for initiative, then. Roll, please.

Since all of you were standing there for too long, the dinosaurs debating to attack you decide to do so. Small velociraptor like dinos come sprinting out from the darkness and attack.
