AREA 2 - THE GALLERY OF TRICKSTERS

Alcoves run the length of a narrow tunnel, each one featuring a bestial statue standing or squatting above a basin of oil. The statues depict the nine trickster gods, with each facing pair of alcoves dedicated to two trickster gods who oppose each other. Moving down the hall from west to east, the opposing statues depict Moa (jaculi) and Wongo (su-monster), I’jin (almiraj) and Obo’laka (zorbo), Papazotl (eblis) and Kubazan (froghemoth), and Nangnang (grung) and Shagambi (kamadan). Each statue is 3 feet tall and can’t be moved from its pedestal.

As you guys walk down the hall, since you have collected all the puzzle cubes, each one of the basin's of oil burst into flame.

Zyn looked at the statues for a moment and started to laugh. She also looked at her hands and opened and closed her fists, noticing her arm muscles move and flex. She looked around at the other statues and giggled some more, bouncing and making weird sounds with her mouth.

When she caught sight of Kira, she gasped loudly and froze.

"OohOhoOhhHahahah!" she said, slowly approaching her. Her eyes were wild and looked at her with surprise and wonder. Then, suddenly, she screamed "BoOOLLapAPbBOAaaoO!!!" wiggling her arms and fingers at Kira, and leaping around her and taunting her, teasing her, waving her arms around. She couldn't stop laughing. She wouldn't touch Kira, but just get near enough to tease the shit out of her and taunt her in a playful - yet not - manner.

She leapt up to the Papazotl statue and with her legs, pushed the statue off it's base from behind, leg muscles straining, and it came crashing down to the floor, broken, and in pieces. With ease, she picked up the biggest pieces with surprising strength and laughed, showing it to Kira.

She then dancing around Astra, Asha, and Kitsune, barely containing her giggles, looking you over carefully.

Kira starts glaring ******* daggers at Zyn. "OH NO. YOU. DIDN'T." The small gnome narrows her eyes and marches up to the Kubazan statue. "Hey, Tentacles! Mine has MAGIC." A glowing hand appears, and starts snapping tentacles off of the froghemoth's statue.

Zyn stopped looking at the rest and observed Kira carefully while she destroyed the statue. "After all this time, STILL upset. Typical. Jussssst TYPICAL. Magic couldn't save you last time!" she danced around the others. "Ubtao favored ME. Not you." she wiggled her arms around again, demonstrating her point. But, she stopped suddenly, distracted.

"This one has arms. Feels weird." Zyn said, looking at them. "This one is strong. Is a female!" she grabs her tits to prove her point. "I'll have FUN with THIS one! Yes!"

Zyn launches out one of her sickles, hooking it around the neck of a statue closest to Kira, and easily yanks it down as close as possible to the gnome. When it crashes to the ground, she has a fit of laughter and dances around the others. She gets cheek to cheek with Astra.

"HellooOooo, there! What have we here?" she purrs. Then shoots over to Astra. "Oh look! A snake! BlOPbPbopbOopEEohbphahaha!" she wiggles her fingers and dances like a snake, teasing Faust. Then, to Kitsune, she stands just like her and imitates her every facial expression.

"Free. Finally free! HAHAH!" Zyn cries, hands in the air. She then stops, looking at Kira her smile gone.

"But YOU are here. Yoouuuu..." and she doesn't look very happy anymore.

Asha stops Kira and Zyn by grabbing them by the ear like she's their mom. "Would either of you care to explain why you've decided to get all loopy now?"

"Hey, I don't exactly wanna be around YOU!" Kira backflips out of the way of the falling statue. "You're annoying, and loud, and never shut up about being favored by Ubtao." She starts as Kia flutters out of Kira's hood. "ACK! This one has a bat!" Kia zips up towards the roof.

Kira glares at Asha as she gets grabbed by the ear. "Hey! Lemme go! That's disrespectful!"

"Not until I get some answers about what's goin' on."

At the emergence of the bat, Zyn crumples into more laughter as her scowl fades. "You were always so easily scared, you arrogant bird! Just like that time I chased you away. Or, which time, ah?! HAHA I CAN'T REMEMBER!"

Zyn bats Asha away, like a flea, a nuisance.

"..and bossy!" she admits to the Cleric. "First time I am free from Acererak's prison and to be held by the ear!? Flea. AND to discover YOU are here, TOO!" she says to Kira. But then her demeanor changes again, thinking, her arms slightly waving unconsciously. "You all are not Omuans!"

"Wait a moment. WHY are you all here?" Zyn asks, curiously, pressing her nose to nose at Asha, who dared touch her. Ironic. "Such a strange soul you have. Yes, will have to play tricks on you, too."

"What prison are ya talkin' about an' why do the two of you keep talkin' about who's favored by Ubtao?"

Zyn scoffs at you like you should know this shit. “Acererak killed all the trickster gods years ago. Imprisoned us here in the Tomb. But, now I am free! With....HIM.” she scowls at Kira, plotting. ”I am Kuzaban! Favored of Ubtao. So I ask again..WHY. Are you here?”

"There's a Death Curse goin' about an' it's bein' caused by the Soulmonger that's in this tomb. We're here to destroy it."

Kira glares back at Zyn, although she appears momentarily appeased by the idea of tricks as she ducks out of Asha's grip. "Well, that sounds BORING, you shouldn't be doing that! Tricks are better."

Astra is confused as all shit but that doesn’t stop him from taking down notes in his travel journal like a mad man. “Svana will love to hear this...” He murmurs quietly to himself. When Zyn gets super close, the wizard slaps the book shut, but laughs along with the possessed monk. He puts the book away as Faust watches Zyn dance, even wiggling a bit with her.

As Asha filled the two in with what was going on, Astra takes a look through his spell book, wondering if he happened to have a spell for this, though he doubts it.

"We don't have time for tricks. Now what have you two done with our friends?"

Kira gives a horrified gasp. "There is ALWAYS time for tricks!"
