Kyrian is standing off to the side, and smiles as he meets the birds gaze. He walks over and taps Aliik's shoulder and whispers to him "This guy looks a little sketchy....careful what you buy."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Rashar goes to each of the smiths, examining their wares for quality and durability. He also offers to sell some of the Night Market weapons, if not just to be melted down and reforged into new weapons. Then, comparing prices he will like to buy the following equipment.
(Rashar will like to purchase 3 bags of Ball Bearings and 3 flasks of Oil, as well as two cases of Crossbow Bolts. This should cost 5gp and 3sp. He’ll also like to look around for a deal on a set of Studded Leather Armor, but that may be too expensive. If possible he would like to persuade the smiths to lower their prices for him and his companions, explaining that they need the weapons to fight the Unseelie).

Mirion begins to pursue the elven shops looking around at their wares. He was beginning to notice that they seemed to lack a little on armor and walks to the store clerk “Excuse me sir, I was wondering if you all happened to have some better armor than what I’m wearing right now.”
"Those weapons aren't even good enough for cooking pots," a surly black bearded dwarf replies to Rashar. His skin is dark and his eyes are a brilliant blue. "You are with the gaurd," he then asks looking at Halla who's distracted by another eleven gaurd who approached her.
Rhogar splits off addressing as elven smith who looks wide-eyed at the dragonborn for a moment before composing themselves.
"We've got armor. How much coin do you have," the elf asks.
OOC: I'm going to be straight with you guys. Although the role play is good you guys do not have the coin or the sway to get free stuff or even deep discounts just yet FYI. You guys choose market so here we are...
Rhogar knows good armor is worth far more than what is in his pouch. Satisfied that there doesn’t appear to be any immediate danger he makes his way to Halla.
“I do not,” then he can’t think of the words that will express what he wants to say. “To help would be good..But I am not of here. How can we help?”
Mirion just looks in his pouch and sighs "I'm not going to insult you. It's almost empty so I guess I'll have to come back after getting some more cash."he just walks back to his companions "I've only got 15 gold, don't think I can buy anything."
(Can Rashar purchase the listed miscellaneous items, including the crossbow bolts?)
OOC: for the sake of brevity I'll say this once your purchase of these items are made for 7 GP.P and all the scrap weapons he picked up. I won't be an ass and ask how he's carrying what I just saw in your inventory FYI but in future I would appreciate some role play for said items.
(ooc: I figured Aliik wouldn't have near enough to get anything, but he doesn't quite know that lol)
"My feathered friend. My finest healing potions are priceless but I consider for a friend merely 200 gold pieces (potion of greater healing) while this common healing draft. ( potion of healing) a mere 75," Dantes explains to Aliik. "I have other brews and tincture as well for sale," he adds motioning to healer's kits.

(Alright. Scrap weapons and 7 gp for Ball bearings, oil flasks, and crossbow bolts).
Rashar’s wallet felt incredibly light after the transaction.
“That’s the price you pay for protection, I guess?” he says to himself. He would like to pocket his new purchases and rejoin his companions.

Aliik's eyes widen at the prices and he glances back at Kyrian, feathers ruffling. "I suppose it would have been too much for the hobgoblins to have actually paid us before kidnapping us," he laments, sighing. He turns back to the lion man and bows just slightly. "Ah, thank you for your...Kindness, good sir. I'm afraid your wares are far too good for my meager pocket," he manages, struggling to find the words. That said, he carefully backs away, wings pulled close in something akin to embarrassment.
"Well, at least we got to see the market," Aliik mutters to Kyrian after a moment's pause to pull himself together. "I should have remembered I was all but broke before we took that job."
"We'll if you do need coin I have an errand or two that I would pay good coin to be taken off my hands. I am a busy trader you see and can not divide my time as wisely as I'd like with my deliveries. You look like an honest fellow. Would you take this package for me to the Autumn spire," he asks gesturing at the far right spire in the distant outskirts of the city. I would pay in a healer's kit as well as a few gold pieces. We'll say 10," he adds grinning at Aliik with a toothy maw that looks partly menacing for his size and the nature of your very different races...
Back with Halla and the smithy lane the other party regroups.
"Have you found what you seek," Halla asks curiously. "Coin can be had. They city watch pays a gold a day with room and board within the garrison," she adds next curtly.
Eyeing the teeth on display, Aliik is very tempted to refuse the offer and be on his way, but the promise of coin and a healer's kit is much more tempting an offer. "Alright then," he manages, attempting to return a smile, though it probably looks more like a nervous grimace. "Who shall I give it to?" he asks, following the lion man's gesture to look towards the spire. Aliik was used to odd jobs, though delivery was usually outside of his purview; still, it would be a good excuse to wander and explore and see more of the city.
(ooc: apologies for the shorter replies today - I'm writing a paper.)
Rhogar watches Aliik talking to the merchant with the menacing smile. He takes half a step in that direction but seeing the conversation continue, it appears everything is okay.
Turning back to Rashar and his question, Rhogar taps his pouch.
”We have some coin. Enough to last some days.” Pauses. “Maybe court now. To understand more. Guard later if need more coins.”
"High warden Banataral," Dantes answers Aliik removing a small package from his robes and holds it up to Aliik. " I warn you," he says holding on to the package as Aliik attempts to take it, "there's an enchantment on this. I will know if you leave the city and it leaves with you," he adds grinning at Aliik with his fanged maw. "Go now if you would. This is an urgent matter," he adds next letting go of the small package, it resembles a book it shape and weight.
Halla nods at Rhogar.
"We need ALL the fighters we can get to protect the city when the army departs," Halla explains with a curt nods. Turning to Rashar. "The court is in the keep," she explains to clear up his confusion. "We would be due dinner soon. The hour grows close to twilight," she adds looking up at one of the three moons above two golden discs as the third a emerald green oval with faint distance stars around it.
Aliik nods, holding the package close. "Right, yes; High warden Banataral," he repeats, to ensure he's gotten it. He doesn't take offence to the warning, as he suspects might be expected - it is understandable, after all. "I will see to it," he assures Dantes, offering a slight bow as he turns away from the merchant and back towards his companions.
"I would not turn down your company," he answers Rashar before turning to Halla. "Would you be willing to show us to the Autumn spire? I've been instructed to give this to High warden Banataral." Whom Aliik, of course, did not know, though he was of the opinion that someone with the title of 'high warden' shouldn't be terribly difficult to find. "Though, if we must return to the keep, I do, of course, understand," he adds after a moment, glancing up towards the sky.
”I think separation is not good. Too open. Maybe we all help then go for dinner.”
He knows that his companions are still little more than strangers to him but what they have already been through together also makes them more bonded than brothers. He wants nothing to happen to them.
Kyrian is standing off to the side, and smiles as he meets the birds gaze. He walks over and taps Aliik's shoulder and whispers to him "This guy looks a little sketchy....careful what you buy."
