As you ask looking into the room you see the north and south partitions are walled off with iron bars.
The cells'/pens' hinged doors are secured by chains and padlocks. The enslaved apper to be dressed in plain gray tunics and have iron collars fitted around their necks. Some are more heavily chained. A heap of discarded clothing is piled carelessly against the far wall of the central chamber.
Wolfsong holds Rinn back a moment then points to the woman who came forward, "You have been in town longer than I have do you know this one? She says she took the cloak from someone but she could be Red brand."
"Not of death itself, I am a follower of Kelemvor. I try to help those that are passing ease into their new existence and those that are left behind to understand and be at peace with the natural order of things." TT says following their new "friend"
You and Wolfsong are at the door of this chamber. You would need more light to get a good look at the women. She is locked in the north pen with others. While she is holding a cloak, she is also weeping. There is a dead male body immediately in the middle section of the chamber at the door.
(OOC - Rinn would need a light even with dark vision?)
Rinn leans in close to Wolfsong and says quietly, "Perhaps the dead guy was a red brand and he was killed when she pulled his cloak from him?" He then pulls out his lantern, hooded, lights it, then uses his mage hand to carry it closer around the room to make it easier for he and Wolfsong to see. Rinn is looking for traps as well as at the cloak in the woman's hands and the dead guy in the middle of the room (Perception: 12).
As he searches, Robwin whispers to the party, “Until we secure this place, this may not be a bad place for these fine folk to stay. We should come back when we’re sure it’s safe out here”.
And to the prisoners, “Ho there, prisoners!... Do you all know each other? Where are you all from? We’re here to save you but first we need to make sure it’s safe out here......”.
"Right, I will leave it to you then," Wolfsong replies moving aside to allow Rinn to pass him.
Hearing Robwin's suggestion Wolfsong nods in agreement then whispers back, "I think that would be for the best too, but we should get them unchained if nothing else. Any luck finding any keys?"

You cannot see color w/ dark vision.
The dead guy was clearly skewered by the skeletons.
You have seen the older lady holding the clock working at the carpenter shop.
One male from the back of the north pen, heavily chained in place, works to stand. He has a young boy with him, clinging to his leg. "No, most of us don't know each other."
"We are from three or four raids on Triboar Trail caravans traveling from the east.", adds a tall woman in the south pen heavily chained as well.
"Alright Rinn we leave it to you," Wolfsong nods to his friend he then turns to the prisoners. "Once Rinn here gets you free just wait in this room until we clear the rest of this place then we will bring you back to town."
Wolfsong adjusts the red brand cloak then leaves the room with a quick, "I'll keep watch while Rinn works, make sure we don't get surprised by a guard patrol or anything of the sort."
As Wolfsong stands guard and Rinn works on the locks, Robwin uses prestidigitation to help clean up some of the prisoners, to make them feel a little better; and also to create the faint odour of fresh hay, to mask the smell of the cells for a while.
(( Rinn & Robwin both have high Passive Intelligence. Perhaps it's been too long a day. The pick isn't working. The key had to be used recently. Back near the entrance to the storage area is a wooden door you haven't tried. In the crypt chamber adjacent this prison chamber is a double door that you haven't tried. ))

Using the light Blaire is now providing, Jed lights the oil lamp in this twenty foot corridor. It is five-foot-wide by ten-foot-high. He does the same at a corner were the passage turns right (north) and again left (west). While you're walking and he's working, Luth is saying, "That is a noble calling. Makes me wonder what you're business with this Glasstaff is. I'm no problem, unless you threaten me directly, or the money is good enough. We're coming to a cavern in this place. There's a fiendish fellow living here. Likes to trade and whisper in your head. Annoying and Grotesque. Keep your pack or clan or whatever reigned in." (([Edit - Spelling]))
In the passage:
"Jed! Wake up boy!", Luth snaps. The young male quickly straightens up, pulling himself off the wall.
Luth continues in a calmer voice, "Give me the can, Jed. I'll fill and light the first lamp."
Luth looks at you three and adds, "Boy can't see in the dark."
Blaire responds, "Oh, yeah.", clearly groggily catching up. She casts light on her Warhammer at her side as she tends to do.
Luth looks at Blaire sighing deeply, "Mage?"
Blaire shakes her head negatively, "Cleric."
Luth hands the can to Jed, "Take care of the lamps."
As Jed obeys, he looks at Endure, questioning.
Endure responds, "Nope, wanderer, artisan, leatherworks, community leader."
"Right.", Luth responds skeptically.
"You're a preast of death, as they said, yes?", he asks TT.

In the light of Rinn’s lantern, Robwin will quietly investigate the dead body, looking for keys (and anything else valuable or useful)...

No traps. The Deadman doesn't have keys on him.
Rinn chuckles, "Who needs keys?" He says as he twirls a lockpick sporting a wide grin.
