Chill frees the chest and pockets the items and coins found. He'll then follow Krom as they head downstairs to catch up with Rhogar.
Seeing the treasure pile he can't help but take a closer look but the amount of ice slows him down. He shakes his head at the lost opportunity but he had taken long enough with the chest. This looked like it was likely a much longer job.
"Just not enough time, not worth the chance." ate.
He mumbles to himself as he turns his attention to the south door where the kobolds and the orb likely are.
As Krom moves into the room with Chill he can sense that the orb is now directly below him about 10 feet away. It's easy for him to surmise that it is likely that the kobolds, and certainly the orb, are one deck below them in the hold. As the spell ends the location of the orb is now nearly certain.
Meanwhile Rhogar and Kazri find themselves in the hold. At first concerned over the creature sheathed in ice you then see that is in fact a crag cat and it is frozen solid. Perhaps some sort of trophy of the dragons you wonder.
Rhogar and Gorrah then press their ears on the door to the south. Listening carefully you hear the skitter of clawed feet and indistinct chatter. Rhogar cannot understand the words but Gorrah sends images of kobolds to Rhogar. You have found your quarry.
As the others come down to join you Chill can see that there are hundreds of coins trapped in the ice of the small hoard. Deep in the ice indistinct shapes promise more in another layer below. But Chill is able to focus on the task at hand and steers clear of the frozen dragon hoard, at least for the moment.
Anyone who checks the door finds it unlocked, but it seems barred from the inside.

Krom silently point at the barred door and whispers "The orb is inside." The dwarf examines the door checking if it has metal hinges or other metal components that could be melted down with one of his hymns. (Investigation12).
As he examines the door Krom whispers to Rhogar "My friend, I think that this may be a good time to show them your powers."

Gorrah checks the door before the Rhogar can finish considering options, alerting him to its conditions. But while tempted to try a key hole or any other potential slit for a look and teleport inside, the Dragonborn instead just whispered to the others, "Seems we've found our Kobold. I will attempt to entreat with them. But, Rekuberk's blade might be getting more use today than expected."With all that said, the Bronze turned back to the door, and follow a quick utterance of a spell would move knocked with just enough force to get attention without coming off too strong... or so he hoped.
Then in draconic and in a voice filled with a firm, authoritative tone, "I am aware you are in there, just as you have likely become aware of my presence. Open this door. I would speak with you all face to face on matters regarding Great One Arveiaturace and more. Matters that can be to your benefit."
Persuasion: 24. (if desired/required. And if any other charisma based checks, subtract 3 from the roll.)

Rekuberk keeps the flames alight on his blade, his eyes going back to all the gold and treasure that surrounds them. His mind wanders to all the things he could do with the coin. Retiring early comes to his mind but it quickly passes as it would be rather boring to him. He clears his mind and readies himself by the others incase they have to fight.
Krom looks at the door and sees that there are metal hinges.
Kazri looks around and sees no living or undead creatures, only her fellow party members. If she reaches out with her divine sense it reveals nothing.
Rhogar, in a loud and commanding tone, orders any kobolds within to open the door. A few tense moments later the sound of heavy wood is heard on the other side of the door as whatever is baring the doors is removed. A single kobold sticks its head out the door and responds
"Who are you that you speak of the mighty Arveiaturace?" It then glances around and its eyes go wide seeing the others with Rhogar who hold flaming swords and readied weapons. "Eek! Where is Arveiaturace? What is going on?"
Rhogar's focus is set so much on the door, that the threatening postures of his fellows are lost to him. But what he lacked in self awareness there, he at least put a hand on the door immediately to bar it from closing without contest, and speaks plainly to the kobold. "I am someone who has travel a great deal to reach this point. And noone -- not even a scaled brother such as yourself will impede that.... As for Arveiaturace, she is not here. Not yet. But before she arrives, me and my fellows would like to make a trade before you add more to her offerings."
"Specifically... an orb one of your kin had acquired in the frozen wastes just today, in fact. A mere bauble to her, but to us, a small but relatively important trinket... And you would not wish to displease her with a meager offering now would you?"

Krom stands right behind Rhogar as he speaks to the kobold. The dwarf leaves the talking to the dragonborn focusing instead his attention on the kobold, examining the creature for weapons, armour and other implements and what he can glance of the room behind.
Kazri relax slightly, knowing that followers of the Frostmaiden are most likely not around. She gives some space for Rhogar to negotiate with the Kobolds. She whispers next to Krom's ears. "I do not see any undead in this place master Krom. It seems that is is just us and the Kobolds in this ship."

Krom nods to Kazri and whispers back "I'm glad to hear that lass." Even if there are no undead followers of the Frostmaiden near the group, Krom still does not relax. He replays in his mind the fight with Cryovain trying to think of some tactics that may be useful in case of a visit from Arveiaturace.
Chill watches calmly from the back. He can't understand what Rhogar is saying but the kobold's reaction isn't surprising. Eek means the same in all languages as far as he could tell.
Krom thinks for a moment and murmuring a chant of transmutation (Thaumaturgy) in order to alter his eyes to match Rhogar's draconic appearance, he takes out from his back the Moon Sickle that the group recovered from Ravisin, and shows it to the kobold. "This magical weapon will be a fine addition to Arveiaturace's hoard, little one." says Krom in draconic.
(Unfortunately, dropped conc. on Detect Magic a while back, so no confirming if the Orb is the right one. Unless...)
Rhogar smiled toothily at the Kobold. Yet prior to jumping the proverbial cannon, he side-eyes Kazri, hoping to confirm any recognition of the orb in her eyes. Once assured even if only a little, the Bronze's attention turns to Krom, and then finally back to the Kobold in a nod. "Indeed. A weapon blessed by the Moon, and taken from someone by right of combat that dared to make an enemy of dragonkin." He says, hyping it up further while placing a hand at his chest. "Far more fitting than some round bauble, would you not agree? But, if you must insist on a bit more-..."
The dragonborn fishes out from his satchel a gem of blue tone, likely a sapphire, though roughly cut and about the size of his eyes. "Polish this, and it'll certainly gleam nicely enough to garner some exquisite appreciation from her Greatness." At that point he knelt down, and held it just far enough to be tantalizing while close enough to snatch back if the kobold tried to snap the gem out of his hand. "So, do we have a deal, young one?"

The orb the kobold holds is a smooth sphere of smoky gray quartz about the size of a grapefruit.
The kobold looks back and forth between the orb and the sickle that Krom holds forth. It mulls the decision over in his head and doesn't seem quite convinced until Rhogar draws the blue sapphire from his pack.
"Deal!" the kobold declares in Draconic. It carefully holds out the orb for you obviously wary that you may try and double cross it. But if the exchange goes smoothly he nods excitedly holding the gem up to its eye after passing the sickle back to another kobold that approaches from behind him.
"This will please the master greatly I think." the kobold says.
Krom nods to the kobold as he carefully makes the exchange, he then gives the Orb to Rhogar. As soon as Rhogar has the Orb, the dwarf says to the rest of the group "We should go now." He then starts walking towards the stairs and out of the ship.

Once its made, Rhogar smiles and nods. "Do not think. 'Know' that it will. Just remember to polish it." He reminds, before standing up to his full intimidating height once more. "Now me and my fellows must be off. Good fortunes to you, and may you efforts continue to bear fruit." With that said, Rhogar made to follow Krom and the rest back to the top of the deck and hopefully to where they last left Anjy without any surprises along the way.
